Berta kept Charlie in check. She always had Charlie’s back and never judged him. She was the main reason I continued to watch the show after Charlie left. I still watch all of the reruns almost daily.
She judged Charlie all the time! The thing is she didn't try to change him and respected him... that what made Charlie also respect her, sometimes preferring her camaraderie over a good cleaning service.

Usually when you read those “RIP messages” from Celebs on the net, they all seem so generic! Not in this case! They truly loved her! Such a loss! Her death was similar to my grandma’s 😔 May they both Rest In Peace!

I remain so grateful for her presence here on this planet. I am so thankful for the Blessings of her and her wonderful body of film work especially her role in Two and a Half Men. So happy that I can continue to laugh at her antics as I watch reruns of that show. Thank You Conchata for all the laughter and joy you will continue to bring to Us!
I was so sad to hear she passed away....she made me laugh even on days I didn't even want to smile for what I was going through in life. I feel she brought so much to the show a nd her humor was what made the show what it was.....She will be greatly miss, Rip and my condolences to her family and friends of hers😢
loved and respected everything she did. one of my favorites was her character in "HOT L Baltimore." She had a scene where she was talking about the gift she had for her husband of 15 years. everybody asked her the next day what he had gotten her. it was nothing ... as usual. It wasn't just the remarks - but the way she delivered the lines - changed me. (Look for that episode.) Thank You Miss Conchata!
