Thanks Howie 😊👍. I agree with you when it comes to a 55 chevy or Nova gasser I am in favor of Hot Wheels Gassers even though they have that big bulky front area for the axle. M2 definitely nailed it on that part.
Thanks brother, and thanks for watching 😊👍The 55 Chevy is definitely one of the most iconic Gassers of all time. It's one of the few cars that look good or even better with radiused rear wheel openings. The 70 SS LS6 454 is definitely one of my top 10 favorites when it comes to Muscle cars.
Got the Hotwheels 64 'Lil II Short Nova, M2 67 Bootlegger Nova, Hotwheels Black hole set, The Nova wagon( green), HW Passn Gasser , And 2 M2 57 Chevy gassers( Edelbrock and 58 Cameo pick-up set)
Wow !! It sounds like you got one heck of a Gasser collection going on to. The M2 sets are really cool. I still have not gotten one. Thanks for watching brother 👍😊
Really good video I always passed up gasser's till I saw the dirty blonde on a Hotwheels Hunter video a few weeks ago now I am trying to buy any I can get my hands on for a reasonable price so thanks for the info
Thank you Randy. Out of all of Hot Wheels 55 Belair Gassers the Dirty Blonde is the nicest with much more detail then the others. I am not sure what they are going for nowadays, I got mine for about $40 when it was first released in 2019...Thanks for watching brother 😊👍
I totally agree. A tunnel ram setup would look great. They should also make an early 60's Mopar Gasser. They have the AWB Coronet but I would really like to see a regular wheel base Mopar gasser.. Thanks for watching my friend 😊👍
Yes it is an altered wheel base. Sorry about my statement of no awb cars in the video I should have said no awb Coronets were in the video because they use the stock suspension or a dropped straight axle, not really your traditional Gasser such as the 63 Nova has the regular straight axle look....Thanks for watching my friend 😊👍
I would take that nova wagon gasser apart and take a hack saw and cut the axle groove in the base deeper so the wheels will roll and if the wheels turn freely on the axles then I'd take some J. B. Weld kwik and weld the axle to the base problem solved
Actually I never drilled the base on the wagon. I cut the original wheels off with a pair of snips and these wheels are push on the axle not the through the wheel mushroom tip like the originals but if I ever drill it your tip may work. Thanks for watching brother 😊👍
Very good explaining on these variantions...i didn't expected that .
Thank you brother and thanks for watching 😊👍

Why hasn't hot wheels done a version of gasser with the high rise, twin carb intake like some of the art work shows? That would look great.

Big gasser fan actually build the 53 Chevy into a nice gasser and posted it if you would like to see them new subscriber also
Good video...does the Nova II have an altered wheelbase?
