    Do you make Google Slides for Tpt?

    Thanks for sharing. I love that font that you used: ABEE something. I am going to start using that too.
    When you insert your jpegs from PP to Google slides, you can also insert them as backgrounds and you would not have to resize and the students will not be able to move them. Excellent video as usual.

      When I was filming that "background" was giving me problems so I removed that bit. I might have been doing something wrong. Thanks for the tip! Have a great weekend!

    Will you PLEASE make a video on how to post to TPT. I am a boom seller but selling google slides is intimidating to me. I greatly appreciate your very detailed tutorials. Thank you for sharing!

    I’m looking into using G-Suite since I’ve been strictly Microsoft when it comes to work/teaching so I’m really interested in this topic!

      We are not allowed to use G-suite but it does have many good features.

    Can clip art be “fixed” in Google Slides just like you did in Power Point? I know the advantage of PP is to be able to use other fonts, but why else would you use PP instead of GS? Thanks!

    • @ItsAllPrimary

      Hi Dawn, yes you can lock clipart on Google Slides but it takes a couple steps. I like the ease of PP and the way I can manipulate tables, images and create my own custom settings. Google is starting to allow more manipulation but I prefer PP. It's really what you like to use. Google is free which is a plus.

    Wonderful video! Curious...Is there a reason why you didn't upload your created powerpoint background slide via Google slides background so it doesn't move at all? I'm trying to create a custom background that won't move in Google slides. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

      Hi Pamela, this is an older video. Originally I insert my images but I now add them as backgrounds. I just posted an up to date video that you can check out.

    Have you ever used the same image but with different taglines? Does it mama difference to use a hashtag?

    • @ItsAllPrimary
      @ItsAllPrimary  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Marie, yes I have. I will just modify a bit but I often use the same image. It saves a lot of time.

    How much time does it take you to create these slides for TPT? I learned a lot from this tutorial and will rewatch. Thanks and blessings sweet friend!!

      It depends on what you are creating. When I make simple math products, it will take a couple hours. One product took about 5 hours as I had a lot of moveable pieces. After you create the Google Slides, a pdf needs to be created that provides the link to the product. I might make another video on that process. Happy weekend, dear friend!

    How do you upload the google slide product to Tpt with an interactive text box? Or does the teacher always have to add the student response box to the google PDF?

    • @ItsAllPrimary
      @ItsAllPrimary  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When you are creating the Google slides, insert the text box in the place where you want it, using a font that you set so that when students use them, it will be automatic. Tpt has two ways to upload digital products. I tend to upload with a pdf and a link to the Google Slides but you can also upload the Google Slides straight to Tpt but make sure you upload a copy of your slides so that the original isn't tampered with.

    How do I upload it to tpt? Do I share the link as view?

    • @ItsAllPrimary
      @ItsAllPrimary  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Latoya, there are 2 ways to share it to Tpt. You can create a File Folder in Google Drive and share it with Tpt or you can create a pdf with a link and upload it to Tpt.

    This was a very helpful video, your explanations are very clear and concise! I just have a question about the final flattening of your Google Slides project. Do you also flatten it as a JPEG (like you did with the PP slides that you exported to your new Google Slide project)? I saw in the comments that you would save it as a PDF but and then upload it but is that after you flattened it a second time? I would love to see a video on this process. Thanks again! From, your new subscriber :)

    • @ItsAllPrimary
      @ItsAllPrimary  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you will need to flatten it as a jpeg. If you save it as a pdf, it still needs to be flattened and secured. Also, if you are selling as Google Slides, force "copy" the resource.

    Hey, i have downloads on sold products but no one is reviewing them.. How do you get your tpt customers to leave a review?

    • @ItsAllPrimary
      @ItsAllPrimary  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are only a couple things that you can do: talk about it and write it in your product descriptions. Getting reviews can take time. You are doing well if 10% of your buyers write reviews.

    But how do you keep the students from moving or deleting the backgrounds?

    • @ItsAllPrimary
      @ItsAllPrimary  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is an older video, when I was taught to just insert my jpegs. What you need to do, to avoid students moving and deleting, is to go to "slide, then change background" and make your image the background. Students won't be able to move or delete that.

    • @ItsAllPrimary
      @ItsAllPrimary  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Wilhelmina, there are two ways to post to Tpt. 1) as a digital activity. You give Tpt access to your Google Drive or 2) create a pdf with a link to your Google slides and upload the pdf. Let me know if you would like a video of both ways.

    Why do you flatten the product? What does that even mean?

    • @ItsAllPrimary
      @ItsAllPrimary  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Valerie, if you are using clipart, you will need to protect the clipart artist’s work. Most specifically ask this in their Terms of Use. Flattening a product means that the clipart is part of the slide, paper, etc and someone will be unable to right click it and copy it, thus taking it,
