I wanted to make a video for the hood. i didnt want the girls to be super glamed up or for the guys to be super fly. I wanted this video to be relatable. I see a lot of guys from the hood that want to do right, be right and be better men and fathers and i wanted to show it from that point of view. Thats what the "Take It Or Leave It" video represents. I wanted it to be raw, not about the fashion, lighting ect.. This song is what some my family and friends go through. Its about the lyrics.
