great job in all of your videos. i find myself watching them again and again some times to remember something, or even just to get in the mood to wright some plots! again great job! (a tiny thing about the subtitles in some of the older videos are kinda off) keep it up !
Thanks! In older videos the subtitles are generated automatic by TH-cam, and they are imprecise. I have to find the video scripts from this older videos to upload them as the correct subtitles.
I have got to say, I really like the way you use the artwork to enhance your presentation. It feels well thought out most of the time. I especially like use of Rima from "Servants of Darkness" when talking about the Mortu.
Love it. Subscribed. PS I searched for days for music that screamed “vistani” when starting my Ravenloft roll20 campaign - your background music would have been perfect!
Thanks! Glad you liked the video. Sorry for the music. The music volume was an issue in my first videos, but over time I learned how to better adjust the volume. Hope the music volume becomes more adequate in the next videos.
I can't help but wonder if there's not a connection between them and the Shadar-kai Perhaps they are to the Shadar-kai as Half-elves are to the eladrin Perhaps The Offspring of the Shadar-kai and The enclave of Thultanthar. It would explain a lot of their abilities and there'd be more than enough time
Interesting idea. The Vistani predate the Shadar-Kai and the Shadowfell concept. Back in the day, Ravenloft was somewhere in the ethereal plane, and I believe they where an (unfair) representation of the Romani culture, as seen in other horror novels and books. But I do see some similarities.
Thanks! Sorry about the accent, but English is not my native language. In the more recent videos, I have added subtitles to help better understand what I am saying. Hope it helps!
@@HouroftheRaven Don't be sorry! It's great work, and those things just take time. I watched other videos, it got better to hear. But really great work!
Great job kind sir.
Thanks!

Your Ravenloft and Barovia series continues to amaze me. This is a fantastic look at the Vistani.
I continue to look forward to new content.

I also searched for a long time for this music. I believe this one to be the best fit, but I also find two more songs for the other 2 vistani videos.
Nice! I always wondered what was up with the Vistani... Now I know! You da man!
3:12 - LOL! "Tralaks" are derived from American hobo symbols. I never read that before. Interesting touch!
This video is great, I can understand your accent just fine, but the music is a bit too loud

Accents too thick. But great video!
