I used to follow this tutorial years ago to make this rose using printer paper and i have made so many roses that i learnt it by heart and made them in school and uni during lectures xD then years later i finally came across origami paper here and decided id give it a go but couldnt remember how to start it but as i went through the first steps i started to remember and my muscle memory kicked in! the joy i felt when i made the rose just now and thinking how cool i was as a kid to know how to make this and how it inspired my passion for origami and crafts in general! so i just wanted to write this to thank you for creating these tutorials, you have no idea how many roses you have helped create (also boomerangs and ninja stars!!) THANK YOU SO MUCH

    Nostalgia! Goosebumps.
When I was in 3rd Or 4th grade, I don't remember really, I I was introduced to origami by my friend and he recommended me Rob's TH-cam channel and I never stopped watching and learning since then. I miss those times where I used to learn how to make this rose. I used to make this origami rose and origami box during school class. It was the best way to relax between classes when there was a break. Now I'm currently in the 12th grade and it was 2 years since I did origami and I forgot how to do. what I mastered. Now I'm enjoying relearning it again. 😌

You have made me feel so proud of myself. I make papercraft, and so i decided to begin Origami. I only started TODAY and i've already made the crane, beating heart, butterfly and ninja star, and i was able to make this rose. I've learnt so much, and in just one day.. I think that's a brilliant achievement :) Thank you so much!

This was awesome! Thank you! I have never made origami stuff, until my little one asked me to make the crane, which I learned from your video, then it lead to this video and now I have a rose!

You're very welcome, great job! I'm impressed you jumped from the crane to the rose, this is advanced and I always recommend people try other models I have before trying this one. Even so, I did put extreme detail for every step in this tutorial so beginners can give it a try. Thanks for the comment :-)

Sorry for the late reply. You're very welcome! This is a challenging model and it definitely took me several tries to get it right also. Once you get some practice, you'll become more efficient and make each one look nicer. It is a very impressive model and people really love to get them as gifts and even to watch to see how they are made. Glad you enjoyed, and thanks for the comment! :-)
