- Do massage guns actually work? Theragun, HyperVolt and Pulseroll claim to help with both warming up for exercise and recovery from it. That wasn’t my experience. In this video I run through the claims, evidence, risk of using them and my personal views on this. Not all recovery tools cost money though. At the end, I’ll take you through 3 free ways to improve your recovery.

Science science science. Picked up a decent massage gun for $40. Feels good and relaxes my muscles. Worth it.
hi jack, please could you do a video about how you edit your videos and how you got that quality on the camera and the microphone. Thanks!!
Very good video! I love the quality of the video, the audio and the editing, and how you combine the background music with your voice to create the atmosphere.
Also, you show scientific studies to support what you are saying. Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Been using one off and on for a couple of years and I agree with you, I can't feel that it does anything.
It works on the principles of myofascial release. If you have issues in your fascia due to imbalances, trauma only then will you find it worth it. Pretty useless comparing it against sleep and nutrition for a proper recovery
You didn't mention that it just feels good when using it :) Like a real massage.
It feels good, but it doesn't feel like a real massage, for obvious reasons.
it works. i point it on my back on sore spot and felt great.
Loved the vid, I was thinking about getting one in the future but I’ll stick to my foam roller😅
Thanks Tre! I don’t blame you, they’re very expensive given they’re not really backed by science
Where's your book summary, Jack?
I broke my neck and I have problems with my lower back and the tops of my legs.
I use a massage gun and it relieves most of the pain.
They really work and I swear by mine.
Brilliant, glad to hear that it's so beneficial for you!
Did you really just steal corporis video lol? You talked about all the same studies, from the calf study to the rhabdo case. Thanks for wasting my time.
He probably discussed the same studies as Corporis because they are the only ones that exist. There are no others to talk about. These products are quite new so there's not a large body of research on them. And if you pay attention to both videos it's clear that they're substantively different from each other. Think for a minute or two before you accuse someone of theft.
Surely anything that manipulates the muscle is good
BORING
Subtle promo for PulseRoll. Our massage guns are better
What makes them better? Not a promo, just used the one someone bought me to educate
They are all the exact same machine 😮😮 stay mad
