I'm going to try and do this myself as the clam guns are getting ridiculously expensive. Do you think if you made that tube 4 feet that it would give you more leverage and would be a little easier on the back.
I know clam back too lol. Yes, think it will be fine. Just make sure to really glue that cap on so no air can escape. Good luck!

Found a 5" aluminum driveline in the ditch while walking today. One end is wrecked but the other is almost perfect.
