Proper studio demos can sound as good as official releases from the time period they’re recorded when done correctly. Especially when the band is well rehearsed.
I've heard a lot of people compare this to Pantera, while its Groove Metal, I think this personally sounds way more like Machine Head, could be straight off of "Burn in My Eyes"

I never thought that I would hear anything from Wayne’s music from this time period. Not to say anything bad about it, but I would definitely think that WDT material was leaps and bounds of a higher caliber. WDT is when everything fell into place. Definitely hear the Pantera vibes in this.
