Everyone complaining about it being p2p don't realise its going to cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars to max again. This update is to add longevity to the game. This is to extend the lifetime of the game another 6 months to a year at minimum. Notice how getting to 8.0 is easy, cause the grind isn't till after. So everyone will still get to experience the new additions all the same. If you save/play well you should be able to grind this out relatively easy over time
Yeah I got my main 5 to modern units for free one is almost maxed at 8.0 aswell just need 2 things to max it then I got enough prototype things left from chopping in my 2 gs units
All this Update is going to do is drive away the free to play players. People are already spending thousands on this update and they are miles ahead of everybody else and killing everything
@@matthewoneill8100 this game is no longer based on the individual but the alliance you play with. Army groups/swarms are the killer. Not whales. We have wiped some of the strongest players in the game rather quickly even after modern units have been released. Plenty of f2p still around and playing. You just have to play smart and learn your role in the alliance as a whole to be able to perform at a high lvl. We have a couple 60ms with over 1m kills fighting 200s in the past 3 epics. They don't struggle nor complain.
This is basically a game reset. It's like starting over again and the P2P players will have a run over F2P players for a while before we can catch up again. Thanks but no thanks Lilith. The power balance is about to get tipped towards the spenders.
I’ve kept up with all the updates and haven’t seen this prototype research yet. When will am I supposed to see this? Is it unlocked automatically? I have 4 units that are 7.2 yet haven’t been able to make them into modern units.
After the update in the morning I leave this is stupid never wanted to play with modern units in any game wasted my time clearly thanks warpath for doing what you do best screw people.

Sad honestly. Ive been playing for a couple months at most and my units are already 6.1 to 7 stars on average. I also have sufficient resources to go straight to 7.2 if I want to. What you been doing all this time mate?
The game should progress or the game will die since this is the only game you can actually play and win or fight with success with out having to spend tons of money even the old units can be leveled up with power by using wrenches to increase power and then level your units like you have to this point it takes time hats why it’s a game and we play if you have a team then you will assist them and they will assist you as you strengthen inmf you research correctly and get your economies and war machine built before you worry about combat research you will get a lot more statues for officers which make you strong period officers are everything from there keep grinding play every event you can a day save your resources speed ups tickets everything for the lvl 4 cities once you get to that level and watch videos so you don’t waste units that you won’t be able to use until you get others every other unit can use any unit to level and the every other one requires 3 same units so yeah this game being one of the best games for free to play players don’t bitch about keeping the game alive and allowing players that do spend something to keep them playing it’s terrible when you have put a year or two into a game to have it die but again this game allows for migration so it should never die another positive if you play these type games you totally get all I’m saying

You can unlock them once you have upgraded a legacy unit to max.
