They’ve gone off a cliff in terms of content and popularity. People look at subscriber count only and say “they’re still going strong.” But if you look at the number of views, their engagement levels, comments in their subreddits, comments on their own videos, etc, it provides a much clearer picture.

They changed for a modern audience if we’re being honest and as always , that audience is always toxic to the previous fans , then the older fans leave . Pretty much just like star wars . The modern audience pushed away the loyal fans and now the company is stuck with a modern audience that you can never make happy and is toxic .

I knew Ethan only was planning on being the hero nice calm guy in the Trisha saga. He probs was banking on her exploding one day just so he could look back and say ...”I was always nice”
A year later and the podcast is actually doing better than ever. It definitely had a dip back when you posted this, but it didn’t actually fall apart in the end. His confrontational interviews/debates have been fantastic.

They're still going strong. Commentary channels are such shit with their titles.
They’re a shadow of what they used to be, Ethan in particular, and there are thousands of their own fans in these “commentary channels” comments sections trashing them and saying they’ve unsubscribed. They’ve gone off a cliff in terms of content and popularity. People look at subscriber count only and say “they’re still going strong.” But if you look at the number of views, their engagement levels, comments in their subreddits, comments on their own videos, etc, it provides a much clearer picture.
