Great show! I’m newer to this channel and I appreciate the Cavaliers content. I can’t wait to follow the updates throughout this upcoming season. You and Quincy carrier are my guys thank you.
I would trade Garland before Allen. This is a much different team without Allen. (for the worse) Mitchell is such a ball dominant player, no matter who you pair him with, their role will be limited. Might be better to pair Mitchell with a more defensive minded, taller 2 guard.
@@RingerRacing because ball distribution requires more AND LESS ball dominant players to play together. Okoro is the perfect guy to place with a ball dominant point guard and a secondary ball handling wing.
Definitely a tough spot to be in especially with the seeming lack of good trade partners, but I just don’t see how anyone on earth could make the argument for the core 4’s ceiling being a championship. Boston isn’t going anywhere any time soon, Paul George is a free agent and could now sign with the 76ers (and they are a very tough out regardless), the Knicks are now better as well. How is this team with the core 4 getting past any of these teams? I just don’t see it. They lack everything the other contenders don’t, especially those longer wings that can create off the bounce and defend at a high level. We see it with every contender - wings run the league now. Mitchell and Garland + Strus/Okoro are too small as a collective. Boston is a matchup nightmare and we saw that this year. It doesn’t matter if you have two bigs that are DPOY worthy (I know JA was hurt) when your little guards get jumpers drained over them all day. No modern contender has 2 non shooting bigs either, and how much longer can they afford to wait for Mobley to get a legit 3 ball? I think a lucky 2nd round series win against a lesser/injured team is the absolute ceiling of this core. I don’t know the answers to fix it, but I just don’t see them being able to get it done with the current roster construction.

Love Cavs content - keep it up if it doesn’t burn you out - but this core four is too young and seem too talented - I just have to see it with a new coach / offense, before breaking it up
Koby needs to make some moves to make us better or he needs to get fired. The East is getting better and the Cavs are at a standstill, with two bigs that cancel each other out and two small guards, they will continue to stay limited until someone from that “core four“ brings in a complimentary piece
If Mitchell signs long term, see if Mobley developes a 3 point shot. If not, make him backup center and start Wade at 4. If Mitchell won't extend, trade him for best available wing and draft picks. No worries about Garland, his poor play was due to injury. He was best Cav when Knicks beat Cavs in previous playoffs.

Its so important to keep Okoro
@@dearmas9068how so?
But Kobe Altman won’t give up on his silly vision of playing two small guards together who do it fit
Yes it will we saw what happened when garland was injured. We rolled teams

We need some DJ burns commentary...
Definitely plan on doing that + some summer league stuff
They drafted Jaylon Tyson they’ll be fine
It's amazing how the level-headed perspective becomes the hot take in the Cavs media/fan eco-system... 😜

They need to trade Garland and try to make him 2 high level role players with size. That means get a good role player and some draft picks to flip.
Whose these high level role players you think they trading him for?
Four quarters don't equal a dollar in the NBA.
