What a great interview! I listened to the composition the day it was released and was blown away.
Nice to listen to Richard go into more depth regarding techniques, ideas, etc. 🍄🔥🍄
Thanks for watching!!
Super interview. Many thanks to you both.
Thanks for watching!
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC maybe the next Strega like collaboration will be with Richard Devine!
Great documentation and process insights. There is a lot to study here and Richard makes it available. Great interview.
Thanks for watching! ⚡️🎶⚡️
Thx alot for this interview & keep on going strong!
Really interesting interview, generative modular is really fascinating stuff, and Divine is a real innovator in that field. Thanks for this!
Thanks for watching!’
Great interview. Shout out Huddersfield for their amazing music department. I did an undergrad and a masters there!
Sweet!
Great composition & talk! 🤘🏻
this is so rich thank you very much
Glad you enjoyed it!!
3 Morphagenes?! Im just trying to manage 1. Great vid, thx!
I swear I heard te vst synplant in there at the example at the end of this video. ! I am99.9% sure of it. It's such a great unique and identifiable sound. I guess it was recorded into one of the morphargenes?
Richard is a Sonic Mad Scientist
Thanks for interesting interview. P.s. What's that book with Rainforest diagram?
Reminded By The Instruments by You Nakai
Richard, get those lips in sync. You're about four frames ahead of the audio. Yes yes I know the speed of light is a bit quicker than the speed of sound but even so ...
So was it like what you did before?
Great Interview, Thanks a lot ! What is the sonograme software at 11:52 , would love to use this one !
Thought it could be Spear, but guess it's not... hm
Did I hear something about Morphagene reels? Have they been made public, put up on Freesound? Thanks. Great piece by the way!
OK. I see there is commercial content so no distribution. Too bad.
The Reels are included in the example patch folder at the FluCoMa website: learn.flucoma.org/explore/devine/
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC Great! I actually had downloaded but had not looked inside. Much obliged!
Will Makenoise ever make a version of Morphagine that is not eurorack, just like the 0 coast/Strega format ?
Get yourself a little 4ms Pod case - they’re excellent for that kind of thing.
@@Autotross Yes but wouldn’t it still need to be Eurorack powered ?
@@Ian-gw2vx They have powered versions, also the ones labeled X are deeper for modules that need it.
@@Autotross Ordered one with a pod. Thanks again for the tip. Looking forward to working with it.
@@Ian-gw2vx you’ll have a blast!
For the record Richard, Huddersfield is in Yorkshire, not fucking Lancashire (Manchester) 🥸
