@@RYUcaEU There's going to be a sale. They did the same thing for Warhammer 2 at some point, where they put out Warhammer 1 will all DLCs for like 70 bucks. But I mean it makes sense you need those games. With the grand campaign, you're basically playing all three titles at once. Plus you can still play against factions that you don't own, so...

I suppose that out of the order factions, it's high elves or probadly the dwarves.
@@1911odisea Dwarfs are the best holding infantry, they excel in terms of heartiness, armor, and sheer stubbornness. Elves are fast, precise, and hard hitting, but they don’t hold that well in combat.

@@joedatius I dunno man, those big armoured beasts might be good in a prolongued fight but they're heavy and slow. Hussars are gonna hit fast and hard! I've always been a huge Chaos fan, ever since the first few editions of Warhammer, but I think Kislev are going to be fantastic, if this trailer is anything to go with
@@battlemode On tabletop bloodcrushers were the 2nd heaviest cavalry in the game, and winged lancers were really light medium calvary. Bloodcrushers would win every time in a straight up fight.

It's literally no contest. On one side is a superhuman mass of muscle, rage, and hate whose pecs can deflect bullets armoured in steel forged in the fires of pleromic hell swinging a magic axe that blazes with the fires of bloodlust to carve through conventional armour and flesh with ease riding upon a literal daemon made of the nightmares of mankind. The chosen knight on the bloodcrusher makes for a combination that is so reslient they can take cannonballs to the face without breaking stride. The only cavalry in existence that can be guaranteed to defeat them one on one are Ogre Rhinox Riders and Mournfangs.
On the other side are like; literally normal people with normal horses.
Realistically, given the sheer power level disparity the Chosen Knights riding the Skullcrushers would laugh as the unenhanced lances of the Kislevites shatter on their armour to no effect and they cut them in half with a single swing of their blades with zero effort.

@@carbonjohnson6414 As cool as having Valten would be, they're previously said they're only focusing on the 8th Edition of Warhammer, so no End Times or Storm of Chaos. Valten isn't in the Empire's 8th Ed Book or even the extended Forge World works, so I wouldn't hold my breath.
Some armies don't even have their entire books out yet! Most likely room for CA to send out some more FLC/DLC. And worth every penny.

Actually that was the face of a Great Unclean One, the Greater Daemon of Nurgle. All of those faces were those of Greater Daemons on their respective God as officially there are no official depiction of the Chaos Gods like that. The closest we get is in AoS with Slaanesh but even then it's just a massive humanoid silhouette with no real details.

@@AkatsukiBoss13 There's Rogue Trader art of them actually but I don't think it was ever 100% canon even though it looks pretty cool. The most commonly known fanart of them is based on it. Also Great Unclean Ones are explicitly made in Nurgles image, and there's art of Khorne on his throne in an RPG book although I don't like the depiction.

I'm an old tabletop player from 20 years ago and although my first love was dwarves I then came to understand that my heart lay with the Skaven, but almost 20 years later this stuff still gets my heart pumping and i've been waiting for the true Chaos armies since they released the first game. A chaos army without Daemons is not a Chaos army. Bring it on. Can't wait.
Tabletop was great for meeting new friends. Warhammer total war is great for experiencing the models brought into life! :D

Yeah if i remember correctly, kislev got wiped out quick in the end times. They handled nearly everything horribly with the end times. Im just glad their not doing any of that for the total war games.

Kislev did hold but Many Cities Supposed to Protect the Empire was taken to Quickly and Eventually The Siege of Middenheim happened and Katarina Last Stand ended Poorly.
Though Kislev wasn't Totally Gone with a the Remaining Army that was Saved by the Tzarina's Last Stand was Present in the Final Battle.

Age of Sigmar is decent though. It’s just that it had such a horrible launch and it came right after the end times. Now it’s becoming its own thing.
The seven note melody played throughout and right at the end as the logo rises from the carnage gives me full on goosebumps every time. Every time.

Ultimately there's not much reason for CA to leave any faction excluded. The only reason for X thing not being done is because Y thing is maybe more pressing/anticipated, but now that we're at the final major game version everything should be considered on the table.

Nice to see Kislev as a playable faction with Katarin Bokha. This is going to be fun! It makes me laugh that years ago when I talked to someone about Total War: Warhammer they scoffed and said it would be a one time thing cause it was so niche. I still want a Total War: Warhammer 40000 but I don't think we shall ever see that one. I think the DoW series is as close to that as we can get.

I just love how someone tells her to face these super scary demons and while most people would crumble in fear, she instantly storms out, full of determination and with a face that says "Alright, bring me those demon booties so I can clap them".
Funny thing is, in game, she'd get absolutely bodied if she went toe to toe with a Bloodthirster.
