So glad I found this channel!! Getting to see places and monuments I never knew existed... When you say you both are exploring India you mean the "whole" India? If that's the case all the best and stay safe and also consider visiting north eastern states I think you'll love it!!! I would love to watch more vlogs on small and lesser know places in here just like Orccha!! Thanks! I love these kind of vlogs, no heavy editings and bgms just plain simple and authentic!!❤
@@mythflick thank you so much for the kind words! Yes we are aiming to explore the whole of India and so far have traveled from Kerala to Rajasthan on our motorcycle:) all the best ❤️
Thank you for showing actual beauty of india which very very less foreigners do . Many especially people like bald and bankrupt only show varanasi , old Delhi, Kolkata and think this is india , which actually not it's way bigger and better
@@lakshmikrishna5660 India has so much to offer but no one sees that side of it (even I had no idea before I came here). I would love to make people see how amazing and diverse the country really is!
I don't know why... but I always enjoy seeing old forts, castles, temples and buildings. I never get bored. In fact I think old architectures are in some ways more interesting and more beautiful than modern architectures. Ok, I'm not saying modern buildings like Petronas Towers or World Trade Center are not beautiful. But somehow... they look too familiar, too artificial, there's so many of them, sleek and shiny, made of glass and mortar. Whereas those forts at Orchha were looking so cool. Built from stone, marble, wood and iron. They belong to a different time and place. They have a story. Now they may be empty but a very different culture lived there once... I don't know how to say it, many thanks for the video! I'm from South India and only travelled in South. Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Gujarat are really beautiful states, they have many historical sites. I'll visit one day.
@@nondajeevi5036 I agree about old architecture vs modern. I think new buildings are built to be more bland because they try to be cost effective with material and are building for profit, whereas old temples and palaces etc are built because people want to create something beautiful and it really shows 😍 I’m glad you liked my video and I hope you get to travel yourself one day! Thanks for your comment 🙏🏻
The region that you're visiting is called "Bundelkhand" Region (spread across UP & MP states). This region doesn't get that much highlight & therefore has remained illusive to foreigners & even indians. I am from there & i can tell you that this It has one of the best palaces, temples, Buddhist-jain caves & natural sceneries hidden. The people here are very innocent & sweet. Enjoy & explore more🎉❤
Thank you for that video 🙏. Where did you stay? Was it good? We were at Orchha this spring and loved it. They "renovated" the ruins obviously, as you were wondering about the flooring... Those main palaces are just outstanding. When we were there, the Chhatris and the Laxmi Temple (don't miss that everyone, its frescos are just amazing) were included in the ticket price under the condition that you do all in one day? Which doesn't make any sense as you want to take your time with so much to see around. We didn't feel good about the massive differences in entrance fees for foreigners, either. A cultural thing I guess, as we generally (far from perfect in reality, I know) expect people to be treated equally. On the other hand it's understandable that they want their own people to be able to see their monuments, even if they don't have much money. Still, as there are very few western tourists around, I think this strategy doesn't really make sense as it causes more negative side effects than that it benefits public revenues, in my opinion. All that said, Orchha is gorgeous. Go and see it while it is still relatively quiet (they are building MASSIVE car parks in the outskirts - god knows what they are planning...).
@@SandraGartner-hj9ty I stayed in hotel sunset and it was great value for money there, and the town of Orchha is just incredible! I had no idea they renovated the ruins I thought they would have just done work on the main monuments so thanks for the info! I definitely agree about the prices, even the local guides were shocked that we had to pay so much to get in compared to the Indian price. I understand about wanting people to be able to see things even without lots of money but then there are a lot of Indian people with more money than me and they still get in for way less lol so it’s not very equal either way. Still absolutely worth getting the tickets though as this is such a beautiful town with so much history ❤️
@@SandraGartner-hj9ty oh really? That’s strange because when we were at the Chattris we could see the sun but once we got to the bridge it was gone. Maybe the clouds had come over in that time :(

Thanks for the tips, I don’t plan to go to any of those states mentioned on this trip (except already been to Varanasi in UP). I would love to go to the islands some day though they look beautiful, and the north east states also 😍
The boys in the end were not asking you for money, they were actually asking you to change your dollar ( or they thought you had dollars ) for Indian rupees. It might be because they want to collect foreign currencies or they want to show their friends that they have dollar.
@@animeshurmaliya7176 yeah they were still asking for money no matter what currency and we had none on us. No one seems to understand when we say we have no money
