There is no reasonable ‘personal reason’ an asylum seeker could have for destroying their documentation mid-flight. There were comfortable enough presenting documentation boarding the flight…if someone presents without documentation, they have effectively processed their own application by presenting under false pretences and should be sent back immediately.
This is not about human rights or refugees or what's best for them . This is big business now , its legal people trafficking into ireland by the government and its all clapped on by MSM . A small group of people who live in a small country .
And the last thing a genuine asylum seeker would do is destroy their documents as they know that they need them to corroborate their claims and make the process smoother.

How can you vet a person if they don't have their documents, they could have committed crimes that the cops in their own country don't know about, they should be returned to the country they boarded the plane, shouldn't be allowed into Ireland

Pure waffle to avoid answering the question. There is no valid reason for being on an international flight without a passport. Therefore the passport was disposed of before disembarking in Dublin airport so the holder could avoid being identified. This is very concerning. We have a rules-based system which is being ignored. Why??

When you land in Paris from any African country they check your id before leaving you off the plane!! The Same needs to apply here and not just leave them into society here. Detain them at the airport like people stay in when layover. And no deportations do not happen here at all not when asked to leave and that allows abuse of the system

There was an old Lady down in Eastwall and she opened my eyes last year she said she loves her Community and goes to Church she wanted to give her time to the Church and go and clean it on her free time.She couldn't do it before she got vetted just to go and clean her local Church.
I also have a friend that's a gardener and his client wanted a plant that was grown in South America can you get it for me she said yes no problem said the gardener but it will be difficult when that plant arrived in Ireland it had to be vetted by Customs the plant needed a passport to be moved from South America to Ireland.
You know where I'm going with this, no one and I mean no one should be allowed into this Country unless there has been a background check done first.The Standing Government are putting Irish men women and Children at serious risk by letting people come here with no background checks or passports its ridiculous

No documents no asylum if they refuse to say where they I’m give them a choice. Sahara desert or Antarctica they will soon remember quick enough where they’re from.
Find out which country the majority of these people are coming from - speak to the ambassador of that country and ask how viable it is that they were allowed board a flight without a passport. Then start clamping down - these people are destroying or throwing their document in the bin as soon as they get on the plane.
