Tyres are stock but they have been prepped. A little bit of tyre glue, if any, and then rubber is trued and "treated". That, along with track surface (routed MDF) and a few hundred laps, and the stock Policar tyres start to grip real nice 🏎
We all use the NSR treatment or something very close to it. Some guys use the magic juice just before the heats and others treat right after practice when tyres are still warm. Depends on the type of treatment you are using I suppose.

WHAT NAME BRAND OF F1 SLOT CARS ARE THOSE ?
The cars themselves are 1/32 Policar Modern F1, however, most of us have done custom liveries to mimic actual cars on the F1 grid or whatever. Cheers!
