- Flight Cub 502 is a non-profit 501(c)(3), based out of Bowman Field (KLOU), Louisville, KY and is dedicated to teaching young students about leadership and success through realistic goal setting in aviation and through Nest Gen/STEM education. The organization was established in 2015 by a small group of high schoolers who wanted to inspire other students to become successful in life while using and incorporating aviation and the STEM subjects as a springboard for that success. Flight Club 502 is owned and operated by the youth members with professional adult supervision.
The “Four Forces” of Flight Club 502 are designed to guide and support each student’s development, learning, experience, and growth:
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC): We will incorporate both STEM and NGLC in ground training, flight training, and in after school programs and flight camps.
Entrepreneurship: Flight Club members will learn entrepreneurship through planning and conducting after school programs and summer camps. Flight Club members will be responsible for creating the programs, producing budgets, marketing the courses, and crafting lesson plans. The members of Flight Club 502 will lead the programs they develop.
Leadership and Decision Making skills: We use aviation lessons to teach practical living skills. We use flight planning to teach life planning, emergency procedures in the cockpit and look at emergencies they might face in life, such as drugs, and we teach situational awareness in the plane and how to apply situational awareness to life.
Patriotism: Flight Club members are grateful for our freedom and respect each other’s differences.
Since our founding, we have grown to over 150 different members ages 13-20 and hundreds of Junior Flight Club members ages 8-12 who are all fully dedicated to our mission and to helping this organization reach its maximum potential. It really sounds fantastic and I just learned about it this morning. I am looking forward to learning more about flight Club 502!!

I'm not good with emails but I'm not seeing information on who won the rifle I think you need to let people know or I purchased my last ticket
