The tayga makes for a great chaser truck for the twin steer. It's not bad on fuel. But my favorite is the smaller azov for a chaser truck. When you have gotten stuck with no winch points in sight. Bring in your chaser truck. If you get your chaser truck winched right up against your stuck truck(touching). You can actually push the truck in front of you. The little azov has a low center of gravity. The tayga has speed and great mud tires (tyres [spelling?]). If you want a challenge in the last map of Russia try the GMC MH9500 and do the last seismic vibrator mission with it, unlocked diff, high range gear box, and your chaser truck. Because you will need it. That mission was definitely challenging. Stay safe and healthy.
Yeah I know what you mean about using a chaser truck! Great tip and works well too! And I bloody love that smaller Azov! The 5139 or something! First truck I kept while doing the container contest testing! It’s got great power and speed and is practically a bigger meatier Tayga! Haha I think tyres is the British way and tires is the American way lol, I can usually tell where people are commenting from by that particular word! Damn yeah I bet that would be a challenge lol! I get that the GMC 9500 is a highway vehicle so considering that, it’s not bad off road but nothing like the Tayga and so on! I bet you’d need a truck following and helping lol! Good challenge though 👍🏻!
I love the way that truck looks while launching itself off terrain in ways that no truck has any right to. Makes me feel so powerful when I drive it. Its basically become my scout with the high range gearbox.
Yeah it’s an absolute beast the way it launches in high! The Navistar with the top engine is really good for that too! But overall not as capable as this beast! Yeah it does make you feel like you can go anywhere! It walked up that snowy mountain probably even better than the TUZ! And it’s quick which I love! It’s just a bloody good truck! Definitely one of my favourite and one I’ve used more than most even though I found it relatively late! It’s done some scouting for me but just for like behind the scenes stuff when I’m re-staging missions and rescues etc, this thing drags what I need to where I need and gets me to the parts I need for footage without any hassle and all sorts! It’s definitely a truck everyone needs lol! I’m glad some random glitch duplicated this truck lol and yeah I’ll definitely never sell it! Either in fact!

Yeah the tayga is pretty good truck, and it looks good too! I was using the first offroad paystar for ages, which is also a decent truck, plus it can fit flatbed/sideboard AND a crane, so its like an all in one, jack of all trades beast. I recently found another truck on Smithfield damn area. Not got diff lock, but it just powers through mud etc. I think its a heavy! Gonna keep it for bigger loads. Also now have the hummer,again no diff lock, but it does pretty well, even as standard. Was desperatly searching for raised suspension for both tayga and paystar, but decided just to take my time, will find it wen i find it! Addicted to snowrunner, cant stop playing it, its just so satisfying!
PREZZER UK yeah the Tayga is a brilliant truck! It just keeps doing what it’s doing and rarely lets you down! Yeah I’m really liking the look too especially with those fat tyres! And lowered on broken suspension looked pretty nice too lol! I’ve not tried that paystar much but I’ve heard it’s a good starter truck! As for the Hummer I personally really don’t like it! It always feels slow to me but that’s just me, other people swear by it and if you’re enjoying it then that’s all that matters! The international Loadstar is a brilliant little scout! The raised suspension by the way for the Tayga, is on Zimnegorsk! You’ll see an oil platform thing on the top left corner of the map if you put the garage in the top right, and it’s just behind a stack of cargo containers! Not sure about the Paystar off the top of my head, they may even be the same suspension! But yeah you’ll get it eventually dude, I did plenty of trucking without raised! Just change the stock bumper if you can on the Tayga and she’s good! Yeah it’s a brilliant game, most fun I’ve had on a game in years, they did really well with this, and there’s still DLC and Mods to come too!

Ooh i meant to say. I had a few ideas wat the devs could add. In cab satnav! Incremental steering, cuz right now, even moving ur stick the slightest bit, the steering goes to full lock! Reminds me of old driving games using the dpad, constantly tapping it to steer. It needs to be matched to how far u push the stick, would make steering much more pleasant and less fishtaily!
True I thought the same with satnav, doesn’t have to be a massive helpful map but just so you can see the approaching road etc would be nice! As for the steering it takes some getting used to lol! Truck steering will be slow though but yeah it can get you in some messes lol although I think they’ve kinda done that so even driving along a nice road can be risky if you’re not careful! Mudrunner was the same really! In fact it was even worse lol!
Congrats on 1k, I saw your level 30 is that the max level? and did you use the xp method or play it normally? Just wondering how long it took you if you played it normally?

There’s a slight bug or was, it stopped me at level 29 for a while when I was doing the cargo container contest, but after more xp than was apparently needed, it finally got to 30! No it was just by playing normally dude! As for amount of time I don’t know possibly 150-200 hours but there’s a lot of messing around in that too lol! If you want a good money boost and xp then that cargo container contest in drowned lands is 540xp every 4 odd minutes! I soon shot up using that! But you don’t even really need to get to 30! I think just about everything I needed was unlocked by level 25 odd, just random stuff like the TUZ 420 sun visor etc was level 30 unlock!
The last truck to get is the azov 42-20 at lv 26 i think 🤔 but the later trucks like the derry (big one) and azov 42-20 are a little pants and more of a novelty then useful, well the derry is pants filled with poop, lots of poop!!!! that truck sucks, so its not really needed to get to lv 30
Love the Tayga, best scout vehicle! But it does tend to pick up lots of random damage due to its speed and not best in class ground clearance. Interesting that on PC the exhaust smoke factor is no where near as much as in this vid. I only see it when revving the engine on take off...
Yeah it does make a good scout! Needs fuel here and there but not as bad as like the ANK or something! Yeah at speed it can definitely although those big tyres seemed to make it better for me? Lol the smoke on a lot of trucks is insane on the PS4! The Navistar is so bad you literally can’t see in the normal 3rd person angle, you have to lift the camera over it lol! The rest don’t really get in the way but they’re almost all very noticeable!
Even with the big muddies it loves to pick up suspension damage from tiny pebbles on the road for me... Not the only truck that does it mind you, anything that has decent pace. Best thing about using the Tayga as a scout is you can usually fix bridges etc on the way as well. Very handy. Anyone who has enough level to equip even the smaller mud tyres should prioritise exploring all of Taymr to find the Tayga upgrade parts. I don’t think contract completion is required to get to the Taymr maps. If you do, just buy an Azov 6 for easy mode haha.
Matt Ladner yeah I was picking some up here and there but the suspension didn’t feel as bad as like the ANK, plus after using chained for a while and then switching to these, I did feel like they helped, not loads but it felt like they did! Exactly that’s the thing with the fast vehicles, they’re fast enough to crash and roll and all sorts! You can go to drowned lands straight away but you do need to complete some contracts before you can go to the next maps but it’s not many, it’s like 2-3 per map! And as this Tayga is in drowned lands then at least you’ve got a good truck to help do those missions! Fully upgraded it’s a beast of a truck!
I used this Tayga to rescue my Azov 64131 with a massive drill trailer in tow on the first map in Alaska. (Can't remember the name) That mission that has you collect the trailer on the bottom right of the map and deliver to the port thru all the snow and a massive long mud pit. Tayga with huge mud tyres is awesome.
Yeah the Tayga is a monster in this game, with those wheels it’s even better! I’ve not found anything yet that it can’t do! Even with broken suspension and a burst wheel it ate the rift map for breakfast lol!
Fire Slash FTW I’m not sure to be honest dude it keeps changing lol! I do like the Azov 5319 or whatever it’s called, a lot! I love the twinsteer speed and power! And the little loadstar scout is just loads of fun too! But particularly since putting these fat tyres on I’m liking it even more! So it’s fighting it out for top spot again lol! The Derry Longhorn 4520 is pretty awesome too. Great turning radius. Only high or low saddle but when that's what's needed, it's a strong and fun truck.
I think i like the voron grad better, its more fuel economic = can do more tasks and can do anything the tayga can except Diff lock always, but thats not a problem cuz it has diff lock in low, i often found myself in the tayga pulling heavy loads and running short on fuel, with the voron grad, fuel is not an issue
Yeah the Voron Grad is a very good truck no doubt! I tried it on the cargo contest and it did very well repeatably! For that specific test the diff always on helped but apart from that I’ll happily buy it again! In fact I might tonight lol! I love the turbo whoosh it makes as well! Fuel wasn’t an issue with that contest but it’s good to know it’s not as thirsty! To be fair I don’t think the Tayga is that bad for fuel! It drinks about the same as the ANK but that only has a 200L fuel tank whereas the Tayga has 330L! But I have no doubt there’s better more economical trucks and the Voron is practically the same level of truck anyway so it’s a good choice 👍🏻!
Im loving this game and your great videos, do you know how long it takes to complete as i feel it could be 50-70 hours the way im playing, also im from Crewe, Cheshire and you sound like your from the North West or am i totally wrong?

Erm it’s hard to say but if you were just purely doing missions and no messing around then I reckon around 100 hours maybe but I’d say I was nearer 200 by the time I’d nearly done everything! Still got a few missions but I’ve just been messing around and making videos and all sorts so I could easily have finished them off in another day if that! Haha no you’re not completely off dude, I live more in the midlands now and have most my life but I lived up north for about 5 years as a teenager and the northernness of my accent has just stuck lol! Loads of people think I’m from up that way lol!

Sure..it is a good truck if you like your gas tanks getting caught on roots, rots, tree stumps and deep mud while it gets slowed to a gas eating crawl. Oh and that is the raised, best engine and gear box too. Always good videos sir.

The Voron D-53233 is also fun, fast for sure. I'd like to say the Voron AE-4380 is fun but the raised suspension isn't unlockable at this time.

Fuel wasn’t an issue with that contest but it’s good to know it’s not as thirsty! To be fair I don’t think the Tayga is that bad for fuel! It drinks about the same as the ANK but that only has a 200L fuel tank whereas the Tayga has 330L! But I have no doubt there’s better more economical trucks and the Voron is practically the same level of truck anyway so it’s a good choice 👍🏻!
Im loving this game and your great videos, do you know how long it takes to complete as i feel it could be 50-70 hours the way im playing, also im from Crewe, Cheshire and you sound like your from the North West or am i totally wrong?

Erm it’s hard to say but if you were just purely doing missions and no messing around then I reckon around 100 hours maybe but I’d say I was nearer 200 by the time I’d nearly done everything! Still got a few missions but I’ve just been messing around and making videos and all sorts so I could easily have finished them off in another day if that! Haha no you’re not completely off dude, I live more in the midlands now and have most my life but I lived up north for about 5 years as a teenager and the northernness of my accent has just stuck lol! Loads of people think I’m from up that way lol!

Sure..it is a good truck if you like your gas tanks getting caught on roots, rots, tree stumps and deep mud while it gets slowed to a gas eating crawl.
