Great video, but i noticed you are missing quite a few classics, like: A Clockwork Orange, Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, Apocalypse Now, Midnight Express, Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Scarface, One Flew Over The cuckoo's Nest And some other amazing films, I would highly recommend checking out these films, they are absolutely brilliant. (Especially Taxi Driver)
Wow awesome collection bud....😱 I have a similar blu/ray collection!!! I’m like you love buying films on blu/ray and adding them to the collection!! Keep up the great work and take care ☺️
I’m just starting to collect movies. What are your thoughts on switching to Blu-ray from dvd? Obviously better quality with Blu-ray, but I already have about 100 DVD’s in my collection. Is it worth spending the money to replace them for Blu-ray’s?
Great to vsee how you organise it. I tried genre years ago then argued with myself about certain film I. E. Alien... Scifi or horror and many more so it all went alphabetical. Then it was alphabetical but things like all the bonds were together in B and all the Marvel in M and then recently I've ran out of space in the main shelves added some more but because they're on the other side of the room I've had to split it up so The main shelves have most films still in alphabetical order but the new shelves or collection shelves as I like to call it has the big series like bond, Trek, Wars, Marvel etc and then another set of shelves has all the TV stuff which is in genre as I seem to have an easier time sorting that!! Haha So mines sort of in my own order as well. Like yours it makes sense to me and that's what counts. My brother always has to argue with stuff when he comes round to borrow something but if he didn't rely on streaming services keeping on films he wants he wouldn't need to come to me like I'm blockbuster!! Take care Paul
Hi James, like how you arrange the Blu-rays, think it’s time to rearrange mine. Enjoy both of your channels, have you seen Misery from 1990, great suspense movie, based on a Stephen King novel.
Alphabetical is ALWAYS Best simply because there are too many sub-categories that it eventually just becomes a massive mish mosh all over again. The only ones I have in categories are DC Movies and Marvel Movies. The rest is alphabetical. If I have something like Creed and Creed2, i put them after Rocky.
I have mine all in alphabetical but i have individual sections for things like Pixar, Disney Animated, Classic Disney, Criterion Collection, and things like director boxsets such as Hitchcock and Tarantino. And then a separate section for christmas films and tv series/comedy/stand-up dvds
Why is howard the duck not in your marvel section? It's a marvel comics film. Also return to neverland was a big screen movie. It did get a big screen release. (as did jungle book 2 but yeah Disney made to many of those dtv follow ups in the 90s) Great blu-ray collection. Any plans to get any studio ghibili films like spirited away and totoro?
I like your video ht s good to watching your TH-cam video and I like your Blu-ray collection ht s good to watching your TH-cam video for your Blu-ray collection from Nikki Thomson xxxx
Great video. I am impressed with the variety and quality of your collection. I noticed you have a large assortment of 3D movies and wonder how you decide which movies to collect in 3D. If there is a 3D version available I will always buy it over the 2D. I live in America so we don't have the variety of 3D movies that are available in UK.
I've got a rather strange way of organising my collection, all with titles for their categories, but they're very specific categories that a lot of people probably wouldn't understand or agree with but I'm happy with my organisation, there's no other way I can do it. Can't do it alphabetically because then I'd be splitting up series, I like to have all films in a series to be together but more often than not the different sequels and stuff don't begin with the same letter, same reason for why I don't do it by year of release as it splits up series. And I can't do it by genre because not only is genre such a wide thing that can be considered different genres all the time by different people, Also because almost all of my movies are horror...
There’s one movie you should get in Blu Ray it’s an epic movie by Christopher Nolan movie Memento you could Pick up that for £6 really good Nolan movies this is the beginning off Nolan genius work we need to get the other season luke cage iron fist and daredevil with last few seasons off Jessica jones and agents of shield out on Blu Ray when does it come out ? Time will tell
I recently went back to all alphabetical. My only issue I have is I have Evil Dead 1 & 2. And Army of Darkness. I hate it that they didn't just name it Evil Dead 3 or Evil Dead: Army of Darkness lol. I have a small collection still so once I get more I'll be able to fix that.
I feel bad for Europeans now that I know there Blu Rays are so massive. Those cases are ridiculous. I love the Doctor Who section. I love the show and wanna get the Blu Rays
So anything comedy first like shaun of the dead is in the comedy not horror. OK that could work. What about brightburn. Superhero or horror. I'd say horror!

Is the movie worth getting a higher quality version to you? That's how you know whether to get the blu ray version or not. I also say keep the DVD's

Great collection! If you're looking for any new TV shows to watch, I would highly recommend Vikings (fantastic TV show in my opinion)
That's hardcore dedication
love your collection :)
Not sure if that’s how I could organize mine. However, it was a lot of fun looking at yours! Thanks for sharing!
Hi James, like how you arrange the Blu-rays, think it’s time to rearrange mine. Enjoy both of your channels, have you seen Misery from 1990, great suspense movie, based on a Stephen King novel.
I used to have my films randomly but I prefer it now I’ve got them all in alphabetical order
ill try that

If you like the David Attenborough nature films I'd recommend getting them in 4K. They look so incredibly good!

Dude I do the same with my collection organize by genre.

You can buy the inbetweeners series on bluray in a box set with the movies on amazon
I organise mine by genre with boxsets on a separate shelf.
Hi, may I ask do you have a 3D TV, and/or 4K TV? cheers!
Are you a fan of the beatles?
Could you recommend any good horror movies that are worth getting on blue ray
