I bought a kit and the instruction say to set the punch needle to #1.5 setting. I have the same punch pen as the one you are using in the video. I don't see #1.5 setting on pen. I am assuming I set it half way between 1 and 2? Seems really short.
The best solutions I found were to 1) put the needle on a longer setting 2) make sure your fabric is tight knit-you may have to make a change and 3) make sure yout embroidery floss is thick
do you know if there is a place where i can buy a wider needle for the magic pen? like one that can work with yarn, because none of the ones that came with the pen work! thank you 🌷
I want to thank you for showing me how to use my punch needle ! I have a question ? When your done do you put fabric glue on the stitches to keep them in place? I saw the lady doing grapes on Facebook do that? Just wondering? Thank you!
It depends on your application. If just wall art it may not be necessary but it would be helpful to help secure it if you're putting it on something like clothes.
@@JennsCreativityCorner ok, that makes sense! I still don't think it's the best for clothing, but I'll probably use it when making normal wall decorations and such!
Peggy Bunn was it through my link? I'd definitely contact the seller to check on that. If it's not staying in the fabric, either you have tension on the string, the fabric does not have a high enough thread count, or the needle is too short. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Jenn's Creativity Corner it wasn't through your link. After trying again and using your tips, I think it is working. Mine looks like an Inkpen and is purple. Thank you for this video
Aff. I have been struggling with it for hours...and still nothing. The loops dont tie, dont stay on fabric..they come out. Im gonna throw it away. Yes, i have got the same kit. What a disappointment. Anyway thanks
Kathleen Senical I tried it with fewer threads but it wasn't working out well for me, I'd only recommend it if the fabric thread count was really high and tight, and even then, the needle is a bigger size.
Jenn's Creativity Corner ah ok i was just wondering why you were using the whole strand lol ,it really is pretty and maybe you wouldnt ba able to see it as good using one strand .. Hmm thanks for clarifying!! And ty for the tutorial. 💜💜💜💜
I think the value is in what you're looking for in the end product. I think a lot of us want to try this tool for ornate embroidery and I think I agree with you in some cases, that traditional embroidery can be more sturdy and artful. But if you're looking to do something like the patch that I made in this video, I would 100% recommend it for that kind of project, I couldn't even imagine trying to do it without this tool.
Finally with subtitles thankyou ☺️xx
I'm so grateful I ran into your video...I love this. I'm just starting off. You simplifie everything...
Glad I could help!
My stitches keep coming out and the needle keeps cutting the thread!
I’m obsessed with the fact that you had lipstick swatches on the back of your hand 😂 You had a busy day making videos 😂❤🎉
Thank you for sharing I couldn't figure out how to do it
Will the stiches come out when washing the work out? Do you recommand this punch needle works for dresses
Looks easy, I'll try. From India
Very informative and easy to understand tutorial. Thank u!
I cannot figure out how to load the pen with the thread. This is very difficult. My kit came without instructions! Im becoming frustrated!

Thanks for watching :) Definitely an easy craft for those not usually so inclined :)
Thank you so much for best explaining 😍
Amazing video. Thanks
I can’t seem to get the thread to stay through it pulls out and is barley holding on

Just what I need is another craft!😂💕💎💕
One can never have too many crafts lol
This is soooo helpful!! 🙌🏽thanks
Can I use it in making crosstich? Pls. Reply...thanks...
SIMILY MATUS NAKAMURA this pen doesn’t work for regular cross stitching
How to change the needle
This is really fun. What a great tutorial.
Thanks!
Loops and threads punch needle tree kit
I am trying to embroider a sweatshirt. Is this easier or should i just use needle and thread?
I would do needle and thread because of the wear and tear.
My question is , the thread that goes down ,does it make any ties?? Or it just stays so if we pull it down everytging is messed up
It doesn't tie. So you need tight woven fabric to keep it there with friction.
Thank you for this video, easy to understand tutorial
Adriana Hinojosa glad you found it helpful!

Unfortunately I'm not sure. Would probably check on Amazon?
I like this.
Mines is not working 😢😢

If you pull the loops at the end won't it all unravel? I'm embroidering a jacket and don't want it to fall out with the slightest touch
If it's not tight and you pull, it is subject to pull out. I believe you use fabric glue on patches to keep them in place?
@@JennsCreativityCorner ok, that makes sense! I still don't think it's the best for clothing, but I'll probably use it when making normal wall decorations and such!
which side is the right side ???
Depends in part on the look you want.
Which all type of threads can be used
Embroidery thread. The kit I linked to comes with a generous amount of it
Can it be used on linen? Is that the only stitch it does (for example, can it do a satin stitch)?
I think it depends on your application/purpose of final product, but I think it may work.
Great thanks
Thank you for this tutorial🧡
This is an amazing tutorial thank you☺️❤
Mines is keep coming out
I ordered one. They sent me the wrong one and it doesn't adjust. I'm having a problem with the thread pulling out of the fabric.

Have you tried different kinds of fabric?
@@JennsCreativityCorner yes. Unfortunately didnt work.
@@vitasemenyuk3121 How long was the needle? I found if it was too short, it wouldn't work.
How to make a knot ?
And the button is keep moving up and down
Ambroidery punch is not available so sad yar i love this activity
If the specific one I used here is not available, you should still be able to see others that are similar under "also recommended" on Amazon.
My favorite hobby sewing ,then i love u're lesson ,thank u
I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
What do you do with the loose piece of thread at the end? Do you tie it to the beginning loose piece?
you can trim it short to match the rest. I haven't done any tying.
U can use thin liquid hot glu on back and spread on all thread
use full video
Please bataye y kha melaga
Amazon mein milega.
online .. if you're in Pakistan can get it from daraz or wish app
Can I used cotton fabric for work
Shraddha Kansara yes, as long as it is a high thread count.
i'll cry i was doing it wrong for almost a hour.
Why arent you seperating the thread?

sure thing, thanks for watching and asking :)
are you sure you don't have you font and back sides mixed up, ?
Honestly you can decide which side you like better, but as filmed, is how it "technically" is done.
Paul N/A i was wondering the same. You would want the fabric in the hoop the other way to display it as art.

I bought this also, and I thought it did more than "the carpet" stitch. Very disappointed!!!!
Marci Jewell yeah, it's pretty much the one method. Though I do like that you can do both sides of the design with practice.

I'm on the girl's side of youtube 😋
lol, well that's where the cool kids are ;)
Looks sloppy like a rug not real embroidery in my opinion
Its not as good as handmade embroidery

Lame product. Thread pulls immediately out of the fabric. Can't you see it? Waste of money and time!
Dear i want to know how to make a knot because without knot the stich is easily removed by pulling the hanging thread
This video could be half the length, long winded 🙄
That looks horrible... I will not be buying the tool.
