@@joonjoon819 No, it is about pathfinding. Units "know" about object placing on the map even the player didn't see them, and use this information when calculating the shortest path. So, in this specific point on this specific map a unit starts going right after you click on right bottom gold mine, if no townhall near right bottom gold mine, and goes down otherwise. He has a video about that trick.
This strat is not unbeatable. The UD here made a lot of tactical mistakes -- like getting his hero surrounded even with unholy aura and not killing the healers with his towers; his towers were aiming at footmen with defend.
I see no benefit with proxy barracks, there are an easy target to destroy without Militia and Towers defending, and the small difference in walking distance doesn't justify it, also it warns the opponent that you are going all out rush, if in base 2 rax it would have been an surprise... Although fun game anyways as always. Go Poland (he said he polish before)!!! :-D
Keep in mind UD usually goes crypt fiends and piercing does reduced damage to fortified. It would have been a huge waste of time to attempt to destroy those barracks...probably enough to cost the hero one level.
