I've learned from countless videos of yours but for this noob, this video is probably, no, certainly, the video that saved me from giving up on my quest to learn German. Thank you so much for all that you do, Jenny :-)
I have watched many many videos ,you are absolutely the best of the best I have ever seen , even much better than my teacher in the German course ,your manner and the way you explain things is like liquid go , thanks a lot and please please keep going .
-What's the difference between: (hören and zuhören)? -In the sentence: Hört ihr (mir) zu? Why did we use mir instead of mich? Although it's not an indirect object. Thanks for your outstanding efforts.💯❤
Hager Mohamed hören means "to hear„ You can say: hast du das Geräusch gehört? Zuhören means "to listen„ You can say: Im Unterricht muss man immer zuhören I hope it was useful and that you understand it 😊
Thanks, Jenny! It would be helpful though if you told us what each separable prefix meant and what verbs or what kind of verbs we could put them with--just so we could apply them to different verbs for different sentences.
was ich damit sagen will ist, dass die Vorsilbe manchmal nicht die eigentliche Bedeutung bei bestimmten Verben hat. z.B. aufhören.= to stop auf = up. Ich hebe den Stift auf. Macht Sinn, man hebt etwas hoch. Ich höre mit den Hausaufgaben auf. Welche Bedeutung hat "auf" hier? Ich sehe keine.
I just wanna know whether the separable verb has the fixed, specific, form that we can use? I mean, is there any of chance to find the law of separable verb?
I've saw in another class (from a brazillian channel called Deutsch und Deutschland) here on YT a very interesting explanation to this: we just need to notice if the preposition is/has the strongest/stressed syllable of the compound verb when spoken. If yes, then it's a separating verb ;)
Hi there, Could you give us a tip how to learn these verbs with separate prefix in sentences? I gave up German language 10years ago because of it... Thanks
Hallo Jenny! Ich bin neu zu Ihr kanal. Kannst du erklarst warum am 6:53 benutzen wir "meinen Laptop" instead of "meine Laptop"? (I dont know how to use "instead of" in german yet :P). Oder du kannst der link senden, wenn hast ein Video über das machen. (Meant to say "if you have already made a video about that). Vielen dank!
Jenny a small clarification. When you mentioned an example for the separable verb "Aussteigen", you used "dem". Sie steigt aus dem Auto aus. I wonder why🤔. Das auto is an accusative case in this sentence right? Then why did you give it as "dem Auto" instead of "Das Auto"?
This video is a big improvement on the ones you made a couple years before it. That's because your voice is now clear and easy to understand. In your other videos, there's all this echo from the room because you're not wearing a lapel mic. Danke schön.
I have a question that why are we separating the prefix with verb, why not using as it is?
Unseren Lehrerin Frau Jenny Akamm ist intelligent Lehrerin sehr gut und tolle Lehrerin sehr gut
Thanks, Jenny! It would be helpful though if you told us what each separable prefix meant and what verbs or what kind of verbs we could put them with--just so we could apply them to different verbs for different sentences.
the meaning of the prefix does not apply to each verb. but I'll make a video in the future in which I talk more about that.
+Learn German with Jenny thank you! I will be looking forward to the video :)

"aus" is a Dative preposition (please watch my video about Dative prepositions)
@@lingoniGERMAN Thank you!
its maybe old video but its showing on my timeline.is updated? then i have to download again.
you can see the date it was uploaded underneath the video
8:46 can this sentence be das Messer dem kind instead of the opposite?
Das ist sehr gut für mich. Du bist wirklich Toll!
"vorstellen" - can be used also in the sense " imagine " 😉
May you give us one example? Thanks
Thanks you
I get it!
Danke!!!
Hello Jenny i noticed a mistake: 9:47 you wrote- Zurückkommen (to give back) ≠ then you said Zurückkommen (to come back).
Thank you for your lessons.
Greetings from Dominican Republic
This video is a big improvement on the ones you made a couple years before it. That's because your voice is now clear and easy to understand. In your other videos, there's all this echo from the room because you're not wearing a lapel mic. And even though it looks like you're not wearing one in this video either, at least you're close enough to the camera and you're not in a big room.
Tolles Video
Ich habe vor nach Deutschland zu fliegen, und hoffe ich mit Ihnen zu treffen. Hochachtungsvoll Jenny♥
Mein deutsch sprach nicht good
Aber das video helft mir 😃😃
Vielen dank 👍👍
Wir fangen mit dem Unterricht an
Great video . Thanks
Hey! Whre's the vídeo concerning the passiv voice?
Schön video, wichtig Subjekt für mich. Am ende, hast du geschrieben "(to give back)" when du meinste "zurückkommen" gegen 9:48. BG
