I volunteer at a church group initiated shelter in South Africa. It started off with providing bed, breakfast and dinner. No day care yet. Individually suited guidance and leads are offered on the case by case basis. Since the opening a year ago, the local community assist in maintaining the facility and material and spiritual contributions. It's amazing how it's slowly impacting the people's awareness.
What great people. But this shouldn't be happening in this so called rich country. The fat cats getting richer. Things done by design to make the rich richer, it's very unfair
Physical involvement is needed. Too many people talk and criticise only. We can care and share in anyway we can. Helping is sharing. No superior or inferior complex.
People like Beckham looking for a Knighthood, where it should be these people who get recognised. It shouldn't be happening in 2024, government dont care but these people are making a difference and so humble about, lovely man.
