Abandoned Underground Fallout Shelter - Exploring The Girard Mine

We're back once again in Tombstone, AZ in the famous Girard Mine. In this installment, we explore a maze of drifts, stopes, and sub-levels hidden beneath the streets of the town. One of the more significant features of the Girard Mine is a partially intact fallout shelter supply cache from the Cold War era. Boxes and boxes of 'survival biscuits' fill a dead-end tunnel several hundred feet below the surface. I guess we wouldn't go hungry if we were trapped underground...
The mines below Tombstone are well-preserved, so the fallout shelter was not the only interesting feature in this exploration. I hope you enjoy!
