4:00-4:15 gets me teary-eyed. I hope this is enough for proving to some people that T-Rex wasn't always a heartless bloodthirsty killer, it could also be a wonderful, caring parent, protecting their young to the death if necessary
I've come to the conclusion that all those people posting lame ass comments like "it's fake," or " I can see some weird thing under it," or "this sucks," obviously either have no imagination or they are jealous that they didn't see the show. That, or they don't appreciate something like this for people to enjoy. I saw this show when it came to Spokane, Wa. and I thought it was amazing! Sure, you could see the actors legs under the velociraptors and the mobile stand under the bigger dinosaurs, but what do you expect? The kids obviously love this show as kids love dinosaurs. I know I sure did back in the day. So to all you unimaginative people posting lame comments, please go away and post your comments on your Justin Beiber videos. Thanks!
There used to be a place in San Diego with animatronic dinosaurs (although they didn't walk around) that was pretty awesome, but it sadly closed a few years back. I totally agree with what you said though, normally I don't like going to zoo's because seeing animals locked up to be stared at by humans every single day makes me feel sad, but if they had a place full of life size walking animatronic dinosaurs, I would be going there everyday!
The only problem is that these animatronic creatures cost hundreds of thousands of not millions of dollars to operate and maintain each. So even if people were to pay to see it in an indoor zoo or something you'll be more than likely be paying more than a day at Disneyland. Probably 200 per day.
I saw this show when it came to NY, and the whole place shook when the T-Rex roared. I saw this with my 9-year old cousin and he was shaking the whole time. It's an excellent show to go see, and I heard that there's already tour dates for next year.
From where I'm sitting right now, this show just looks awesome.. I was not aware of this show at all. But due to the videos here on youtube, I looked it up and found that it's coming to our area this month.. The tickets have been ordered and will be here tomorrow and our 5yr old grandaughter is just gonna come un-done.... Thanks for sharing.........and Merry Christmas
Just saw this today in Knoxville, TN!! It was awesome! They look, move, and sound real! Definitely worth 100 bucks for me and my husband since it may not come back to our city!!!
I pledged to KOCE (a So. CA public channel that has since changed its name) and got 4 tickets in exchange. I made a gift to that station, yes...but they had no idea what a gift they gave to me! :)) Incredible, yes!!
This was truly a spectacular show and I wish I could take my children to see it in the future if it was ever to return to Finland. Seeing this clip got me all teary eyed remembering the show. After a while you forgot the human operators and the feet and just gasped your breath in awe (altho' the ending could be more child friendly... a VERY loud and sudden bang made some of the kids in the audience cry and I almost had an heart attack XD). But if you like dino's this is an event you cannot miss!
When we saw it, we sat in the middle facing the screen. She made her rounds looking around the audience, then seemed to look right at us! What a look she gave us, too. At that point she roared. My little brother and cousin both covered their ears.
I was 44 years old and I went to see this at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH last year (2008). I loved dinosaurs when I was a young girl. I want to see it again. It was awesome. You really feel like you are in that period. Don't be scared and not go - it is an amazing experience.
This show should have a Japan tour, so at every show when the T-Rex comes out, the entire audience screams out in unison, "GODZIIILAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Yeah, I totally get that, and this is exactly why I'm asking this. A baby lion is about the size of a cat, and that's why its vocal chords make such a high pitched sound. Actually, because of its size, a baby lion sounds more or less like a cat. So why would a dinosaur bigger than an adult lion/tiger/liger sound so high-pitched? Vocal chords are like organic trumpets, the bigger they are, the deeper the sound, and a baby T-Rex would already have vocal chords bigger than an adult lion's.
I agree!! And, believe it or not, I went to this when it came to our local city too! My favorite part was the Velocirapter. It moved so fast that I could barely tell that it was fake!
SWEET! Ive always taken interest in dinosaurs. I still can't figure out how something so colossal EVOLVED to something so small. You'd normally consider that de-evolution.
Think about how a baby lion sounds... as an animal ages and size grows, it's vocal chords develop. As with humans, dinosaurs and most other animals all start off with a much higher pitched voice or sound than when they will be adults.
I saw this couple years ago, beacue i was a fan of the documentary when it came out. I have to say these animatronics are quite impressive. I wish we could see more of this in movies besides lifeless CGI all the time.
I saw this on their first tour - man it was AMAZING. I'm jealous though, they allowed flash photography in your stadium, we were told not to use flash :( Anyway, great price, great show, gorgeous works - I'd recommend this to anyone!!
simply amazing! For those of you over the age of 27, can you imagine if they had this kind of stuff when we were kids? I would have been way more interested! LOL Can't wait to take my babies, just stunning!
How come the baby t-rex has such a high-pitched scream? Lions are smaller than it and their roar sounds as deep as the mother T-Rex roar. Maybe they should research it more.
So did I a couple of hours ago actually lol, Best show ever, the entrance of the T Rex was brilliant and the vibration from her roar echoed throught the whole arena! I sat on level 1 row T block 105 I think pretty good seats!
Got 2 free tickets to see this, heck I'm 17 and I stilled enjoyed the show. They had one of the raptors in my local museum too, so you can actually get really close to it. They did an amazing job with the dinosaurs.
Last year our daughter wanted to go to this and she was two we didnt know how she would react to the Dinos...now she's 3 and still wants to go...I hope they come back soon because she REALLY wants to see them..I think she'd do ok with the show...HURRY UP AND COME BACK Walking with Dinosaurs!!!
I remember seeing this show with my cousin, we were the only teenagers sat in the audience of little kids :L The show, the Animatronics, everything, It was absolutely, Incredible.
When I saw this, all of the kids sitting nearby kept giving me the strangest looks as I geeked out over the dinosaurs. Then I realized I was the only college-age kid (with no younger siblings) sitting in that area. YAY DINOSAURS!!
Respond to this video... I saw this last november it was friggin awesome! I loved how the mama T-rex would growl real loud and the baby would growl like it was scaring someone but it wasn't. too cute. LoL
4:00-4:15 gets me teary-eyed. I hope this is enough for proving to some people that T-Rex wasn't always a heartless bloodthirsty killer, it could also be a wonderful, caring parent, protecting their young to the death if necessary
Same with alligators.
i love the fact that i'm almost 20 years old and things like this still give me chills. :)
The mother T Rex is a beautiful animatron! and the baby is so cute!
Mommma Dino The T-rex.,,,

You've gotta have......imagination (insert Spongebob meme)
This show was so amazing :3 They make the dinosaurs look so realistic and the whole performance was just flawless
Why don't they make a "zoo" with these. Just have full time staff operate the "animals". People would sure pay like hell to go there.

I just thought the same too not long before I watched this show.
@Mara Smith No Spared Expense!!!
I was there when you recorded this.. X3
The huge T-rex robot literally roared in my face owo
I saw this show when it came to NY, and the whole place shook when the T-Rex roared. I saw this with my 9-year old cousin and he was shaking the whole time. It's an excellent show to go see, and I heard that there's already tour dates for next year.
This scared the shit out of me when I saw it live!
yeah. cause there was a little kid in front of me who thought the damn thing was real.
Yes-Whhho.
From where I'm sitting right now, this show just looks awesome..

STILL I THINK WE SHOULD RUN LIKE IT IS GODZILLA!
No. Make that MAMAZILLA!!!!!!
I this show came out at the same time as Jurassic Park, it would have blown my mind as a kid.
I pledged to KOCE (a So. CA public channel that has since changed its name) and got 4 tickets in exchange. I made a gift to that station, yes...but they had no idea what a gift they gave to me! :)) Incredible, yes!!

It was awesome !!!! The greatest show ever !!
When we saw it, we sat in the middle facing the screen. She made her rounds looking around the audience, then seemed to look right at us! What a look she gave us, too. At that point she roared. My little brother and cousin both covered their ears.
Saw this on my birthday, AMAZING! Thanks for these amazing memories :)
I saw this show years ago! Brings me back!
I was 44 years old and I went to see this at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH last year (2008). I loved dinosaurs when I was a young girl. I want to see it again. It was awesome. You really feel like you are in that period. Don't be scared and not go - it is an amazing experience.
i remember going to this when i was little, the trex was VERY loud lol
wow, these machines are absolutely marvelous... this must have taken tons of time and money, but the result is stunning, and so worth it. :)
If I had money I’d definitely bring this back
the fact that that guy can run in that costume is a tribute to how well this show is made.

I agree!! And, believe it or not, I went to this when it came to our local city too!
My favorite part was the Velocirapter. It moved so fast that I could barely tell that it was fake!
Still amazing to think such animals walked the Earth 65 million years ago !!
I saw it and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s crazy I was so little when I was this and they still look the same
This is amazing! I would love to view this show in person.
SWEET! Ive always taken interest in dinosaurs. I still can't figure out how something so colossal EVOLVED to something so small. You'd normally consider that de-evolution.
This was so much fun at the Rose Garden! So worth it!
Saw this yesterday..Was so good!!
This is so cool. The end of it actually almost made me cry! xD
Think about how a baby lion sounds... as an animal ages and size grows, it's vocal chords develop. As with humans, dinosaurs and most other animals all start off with a much higher pitched voice or sound than when they will be adults.

I saw this live. What an experience!
This is beyond EPIC! Gad, it kicks the butt of every Ice Capades show that my mom and dad took ME to back in the day (yes, I AM old!)!
That T-Rex baby would make a great costume.
Man i remember seeing this as I kid and I remember this being so awesome to watch and I would bring it back
Very good camera work, thanks for posting!
Did you know the T-Rex may have hunted in packs.

Besides Jurassic Park, this is the best Trex design I’ve ever seen.
I was like holy shit the t rex scared the living shit out of me
So did I a couple of hours ago actually lol, Best show ever, the entrance of the T Rex was brilliant and the vibration from her roar echoed throught the whole arena!

I went to this show. It was completely awesome!!!
yea, i just went to watch this last night it's awsome, i think it's good for all ages, not just 5 year olds
Ugh, we're not technologically advanced enough to make a real dino-robot that can stand on its own? C'mon. But, still badass!
a very good and dramatic way to end. Dinosaurs never stopped ruling as the total number of bird species outnumbers the total number of mammals.
I just saw it in Nottingham today.......agree with you brilliant!!!! Hence why i'm now searching through youtube to see it again.
this show was one of the best ever i saw it in hp povilion so cool

I saw this and it was freaking awesome! it was a little weird seeing the sticks, sticking out of their bodies, but it felt so real
I actually went to this when it came to our local city. Suffice to say... it was INCREDIBLE.
" I have a big heads and little arms!". LMAO>
