    You left Perth Australia for Canada. Perth is a far better city to any you find in Canada.

    I am trying to do the opposite. I am in Canada and trying to move to Aus. tired of the cold weather. thats the only reason. Canada is awesome in every sense if you can tolerate 6 months of winter

    • @theeglobalcitizen

      @theeglobalcitizen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What exactly is better if you don't mind me asking

    • @seth_everman
      @seth_everman ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@theeglobalcitizen the reasons are obvious. The weather, now you would say its 50 in perth, look australian east coast exists okay? And also you will find wages in canada to be shit. Compared to aus. And the social benefits when you start working, you get double the amount of paid leaves, better job security, better healthcare system, more digitalized administration etc
      And no, I'm not australian

    • @debuthunter5389
      @debuthunter5389 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@seth_everman - Wayyyyy more culturally inclusive and supportive than Australia. Way more connected to the rest of the world. Nice diversity in cities and regions.

    • @seth_everman
      @seth_everman ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@debuthunter5389 thats true, but australia does not lack diversity. Even though canada is number one in multiculturalism, Australia will be number two in the world. So it can't be considered as a disadvantage. But the weather and salaries of canada are definitely canadas disadvantages.

    • @debuthunter5389
      @debuthunter5389 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@seth_everman - I mean the differences between Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Montreal etc are much bigger than between places in Australia. More diversity across country.
      In terms of multi culturalism, yes Australia is very multicultural, but wayyy less embracing of it. First thing I said when this video came up (even before he mentioned) was "he won't be seen as Australian". In Canada he would have no issue being accepted as Canadian.

    • @dangonzalezb
      @dangonzalezb ปีที่แล้ว

      No it's not, it's an overpriced country where you can only go outdoors 4/12 months of the year and its real estate is grossly overpriced so most people arriving will never be able to buy their own home.

    • @debuthunter5389
      @debuthunter5389 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dangonzalezb - The real estate is no different really to Aus. And yes you can go outdoors, and people do. Winter doesn't stop people from enjoying life out there.

    • @dangonzalezb
      @dangonzalezb ปีที่แล้ว

      @@debuthunter5389 1. At least in Australia you get real estate with better weather, Canada's weather is a permanent threat to life, if you rely on electricity for heating you could die in a winter storm (which happened to a lot of old people in Montreal back in February of this year). Both RE markets are ridiculously overpriced so that doesn't play in Canada's favor.
      2. "Winter doesn't stop people from enjoying life" Shut up Canuck, nobody is going out to "enjoy life" at -15C and snowing in Toronto, or at -38C in Montreal in February (a bunch of buildings in McGill univ. had exploding water pipes this winter due to frigid Antarctic cold ).

    • @debuthunter5389
      @debuthunter5389 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dangonzalezb - Minus 38 is an extreme, like saying +45c in Australia. Doesnt reflect the general reality. And yes, people do enjoy the outdoors still in winter.
      Yeah issues happen, just like they do with heat. Australia with water restrictions through the summers... Canada has no issues with that. Lol.
      And yeah, people go skiing, snowboarding and ice skating down to -30c. Obviously people don't act like they would like in the middle of summer, but same can be said for winters in Melbourne.
