And there was no vice president in the 1980s making a public threat to a foreign country (Ukraine) that if they did not fire the prosecutor going after his son (Biden) they would not get the billion dollars !!

Same here. Me: Army, 1982 - 1987. I went to the Reagan Library in 2022. The Saturday he passed I was working some OT in the lab at my employer at the time. When the news broke that President Reagan had passed, I shutdown the lab and headed to a restaurant to watch news coverage. RIP, Ronald Wilson Reagan.

I believe the proper leftwing narrative is that Bush caused the crash with his deregulation not Reagan, unless your talking about some other small recession. In reality however, the housing bubble that was created by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA loans that came in under Clinton is what caused the 08 crash, not deregulation. And he ruined the country?! If you teach a man to fish, he’ll eat for the rest of his life” Then he cut both welfare and education. Government health programs? Slash. He continued doing this until anything that remotely benefited the common man had been ruined. Then he proceeded to spend many times more than what he removed on military. Ludicrous projects like spending billions renovating obsolete WWII battleships that had no purpose and are being dismantled as we speak. He was an actor and the American people loved it.
