Rooted in the teachings of hula master Uncle George Lanakilakeikiahiali'i Na'ope, the hālau's dancers brought ancient traditions to life through graceful movements and storytelling. Uncle George, co-founder of the world-famous Merrie Monarch Festival, passed down a rich legacy that this performance honored. Rain or shine, without amplification, this captivating display celebrated Hawaiian culture in its purest form.

My family is not of Hawaiian decent my sister, at a young age took Hula lessons for a number of years. Our home on the main teas filled with the warrior Hawaiian music. I am thrilled to be in attendance today and have already learned so much of the culture from other friendly and generous Hawaiians in the audience. This performance is no doubt the highlight of our Hawaiian vacation andi can’t wait to share your you tube site with my sister.
