Good evening. I attempted Yakuza 3's famously difficult Pool minigame challenges. In order to 100% the game, you must beat every difficulty of CPU (beginner, intermediate, advanced, expert) on all game types (8-Ball, 9-Ball, Rotation). Not to mention Haruka requests and the Break Ace achievement, where you must sink the 9-Ball on the initial rack. Very tough to say the least

Non stream watchers won't know it took 1-3 minutes to to line up every single shot
Thank God for vez for making me look good
Happy is the man who hasn't completed yakuza 3 Batting Center...
i deadass set task mangaer to always be on top of other windows and used it as a crosshair for that one
@@nickbiden9211 imma have to put a tape of my fuggin TV cause I literally cannot do it legit lmao
Set up a normal game with the cross hair, loop a string or headphones so that the bottom is where the cross hair would be, then go into the hard mode. Now you have a marker without potentially messing up your monitor or tv.
@@nickbiden9211 using task manager as a crosshair is absolutely wild
Just put a gum in the middle of the screen to aim, pretty easy If you do that
I recently did this to complete Yakuza 5 and I feel like a war-torn veteran
My wife completed all Yakuza games and became a scary Mahjong master in the meantime. Took her 3 years I think, but that's because most games weren't even released when she started with Zero.
She did: Zero, both Kiwamis, 3-6, Dead Souls (on an emulator), Judgement 1 and 2, Ishin, Man without a name, 7 (like a dragon) and recently 8 (infinite wealth). She also played Streets of Kamurocho but I don't know if she completed it. Pretty sure the only one she didn't play is the other historical Yakuza game that released only in Japan. Her typical completion time (in-game completion, not just platinum) was roughly 3-4 weeks for most games, I think Yakuza 5 took her the longest with like 2 months.
So...doing all mainline Yakuza games (0-8) in a year is going to be rough but should be doable. Good luck mate!
She's a keeper. If she yearns for more there's still the 2 psp games and the Fist of the North Star game. The psp games are jp only but there is a fan translation out.
This minigame was sponsored by 8 ball pool
I'll tell you, seeing him sink the rotation shot live was something else.
I managed to do pool first last year and heres the secret: put a ruler or piece of paper through the middle of the two balls and aim it into a hole. That should do the trick. Once i figured that out I did it easily in 3 and 4 aside from the super expert computer sinking all 8 balls in a row.
Trust me, you have better spatial awareness than you understand, even having a perfect line to demonstrate where the balls will collide won't help idiots like me
I did use a ruler and I still fucked this up
Got the platinum for Yakuza 3 over the weekend. Pool easily took the longest to conquer. Nice work. Lots of flashbacks to my many many failures here.
Idk how you aren't getting more views!
Love the content keep it up
This was hard for me to play lul, brings back painful memories
Gotta say watching you do this after doing it myself was such a good source of validation, it's so bad being there live was great
you have willpower that outstrips gods
I tried to do this with a ruler and I still failed at it for days
I succeeded in the end by lucking out; the AI screwed up juuust enough. This shit makes my understanding of inertia, shit even just left and right, go out the damn window lmao
Something about 8 ball is just the funniest thing to me, great video!
"Fuck this stupid baka life" - the minigame. Or. #smallgame if you will.
This is the part I was waiting to see you do after you beat K2. Idk if the sensitivity is a problem on the Steam version, but it's atrocious on PS4.
on PS4 was awful but with a rubber band is manageable. On PC i know it's easier because you can work fix the controls
edging to this rn
same fr
You should try that stupidest clown chase mode in premium adventure
Another banger by Jahn!
I just beat all rulesets of pool on expert im creaming bro
its minigaming time
On PS4 it's a real nightmare
Burps cutely*
It isn't broken when you play with K/M, makes complétion super easy
I'll tell you this much i pray for your sanity regarding the tuna fish in this game saw JFJ on stream do it and it took him i believe possibly two vods i think and i believe he did it twice so be prepared
I'm a Yakuza fan who does almost everything in each game but I gave up on this one
I just spent hours trying to beat the expert CPU on Kiwami. Took absolutely forever, but I did it. My question is, are the pool requirements in Y3 the same in terms of difficulty, or is it even harder?
Jesus

Hey jahn.. im only 2 trophies away from platinuming kiwami 1, im stuck on harukas request, she wants 2000 points on poker but everytime i get 2000 she isnt satisfied, i couldnt find any guids so can you help a poor man with this?
You need 2000 points more than with what you started if you start with a 1000 you need to exit with 3000
I don’t believe this is bugged as far as I know. Just leave the table with 2000 more than you started with
@@jahnhub thanks man, btw your vids really got me into yakuza, im playing all the main games, make more vids on yakuza❤❤
@@pocketcircuitfighter6291 that means the money i spent on betting right? thanks man, and btw if i lose the first round does it reset or should i just go out of the casino and come back, and do you recommend a particular gamemodes or strats?
@@amiralimohammadhosseini6458 basically It means this imagine that you start with a 1000 then you win a 1000 and then lose a 1000 and win 1000 again that would put you are at 2000 so you would need a 1000 more to reach 3000, you need to exit the game with 2000 more than what you started there's no strategy outside of luck and gambling items
I feel like the aiming line is slightly off in 3
In remastered it’s off but in OG the game was just bad physics
you have to pull back the stick perfectly straight for 100% accuracy, which is humanly impossible in the remaster, you can get macros tho and it helps. i also heard that uncapped frames make the ai better but i never tested that
