Nice catch
Good vid bud. I caught my pb 10.9 at the mouth of Barton and that was the 2nd week In April so they will be moving up for a while with that consistent temp in that area.
That’s awesome! Yah I caught a 5 and half off a bed in that area in early April last year.
Are the fish at lady bird good for eating or nah
Noooooo lol. Lots of pollution in the lake unfortunately, I would highly recommend never eating anything out of ladybird.
@@FishinATX where's some good spots to catch edible fish in Austin?
You can get away with eating some fish out of lake Austin but for the best quality fish you’ll want to go to lake Travis.
I have a 2003 triton tr186 bass boat will it fit on this lake! And where can I put in been wanting to fish that lake for years! I just put the garmin Livescope on my boat and would love to test it out on that lake!
Yah all bass boats fit, there’s two ramps towards the south part of the lake right off of I-35 and they can get a little tight and crowded but as long as your pretty good at maneuvering a trailer you should be fine. Live scopes great for this lake too, lots of guys use it to pull fish out of the grass in the deeper river channel.
@@FishinATX 10/4 thanks man i really appreciate it! Can’t wait to get home now to fish that lake! I’m working out of town right now but when I get home I’m definitely fishing it!
can you use the big engine or is it strictly trolling motor in lady bird lake?
They say strictly trolling motor but almost every bass boat you see out there uses the outboard at a no wake pace. Technically I do think you can get a ticket for using the outboard but in the several years I’ve fished out there I’ve never seen anyone get in trouble for using their outboard.
Thanks for the info 👍
