Midlands refers to the areas in the middle of the country. Which would be places like Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham. So kamakaze was in the Midlands because Leicester is in the midlands as was eyez(from derby) and Mez (from Nottingham).

Reason they prob did Midlands v London is London's population is like 8m so when you add up all the cities that make up the Midlands I.e. middle of England, it's a more even area. As mentioned by Kamakaze and as you know London has a load of other rappers that havent featured or might not do this
