This was a great triangle, there were really no bad guys, so it was easy to sympathize with all; though I have to admit I wanted Luke to go find another avalanche at some points while the whole thing was playing out!
The build-up to this scene was agonizingly slow, but when it finally happened, WOW! The choice was clear: Robert and Holly were perfect for each other! If she'd chosen Luke, what would happen when Laura returned? Laura was the love of Luke's life, and Holly was Robert's. Their relationship heated up considerably as it caught fire in real life. Those love scenes seemed so real, and so swoonworthy! I loved those two together!
Robert had the best suits. Very (pre) Miami Vice. Whoever did wardrobe did a great job. He and Holly looked elegant together, even though Holly's outfits were a bit too 80's.
This is twisted. It's ok for Luke to hook up w/ Holly a year after Laura disappeared, but Holly can't get with Robert after Luke's gone? I'm glad I wasn't watching back then..they really messed with these characters.
Actually Laura disappeared in 1982. Luke and Laura married in November 1981, they celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years '82 as newlyweds and Genie Francis left soon after that.
Refresh my memory please. Why did Luke think "Mrs. Scorpio" was referring to.Jackie Templeton? Maybe it's been too long but I don't remember Jackie and Robert being that close.
Robert and Holly were never supposed to break up. They were such a successful couple that when Emma left in fall 85, the story was that Robert and Holly were starting a new life in Australia and Robert would join her in a month and they would live happily ever after. Robin showed up like the day after Holly left and so Robert’s plans got postponed. He did join Holly happily in Australia in December 85 and Tristan left the show for a while-I can’t remember if it was weeks, months, or years. But the problem was that Tristan had to come back to the show without Emma. So Robert had to come back from Australia saying that Holly had died in a plane crash-which allowed him to have relationships with Cheryl and Katherine. Robert never would have done that if Holly had been alive. I stopped watching in 1990 but it looks like Robert married Anna again, and Holly came back in 1992 saying that her plane crash was really a car accident and that she was in a coma for two years. Anything after that doesn’t exist for me, as Robert and Holly only had eyes for each other.
These are so awesome to watch now!! I really love these!! TV is not like this any more!! Great work!!

Jackie & Robert were an exclusive couple for awhile when Luke & Holly were together in 82.
Jackie and Scorpio dated for awhile. And her character was played by Demi Moore at that time!
I think Luke was out of line. They all thought he was dead. Was and never supposed to marry again? Or it just can't be with his best friend.
