Former underboss of the Gambino crime family, Sammy "The Bull" Gravano shares insights about his time after being released from prison in 1994 and his experiences in the witness protection program during an interview with Vlad. Despite initially being uninterested in the program due to having a significant amount of money and not wanting to change his name, Gravano joined at the insistence of the government - agreeing to a year's commitment. He spent time in numerous locations, including Houston, Dallas, and Colorado. It was while residing in Colorado that a woman discovered his true identity, prompting a move by the marshals to relocate Gravano yet again. There are a lot of Witness Protection people in Houston. A New Jersey Boss,who’s Tony Soprano character was loosely based on called Vinnie Ocean has/had a strip club in Houston. There were also a few other major Mob figures sent to Houston. I’m from Phoenix Arizona and there use to be this Italian restaurant in Sedona that I would go to when I was up in that area.
