Something truly magical about the second scar death. the way he so carefully snuck up on the world's most obvious trap in full view of like 6 people. it's like something out of looney tunes
From Grian's POV at one point we see Scar look at the bridge, and there's Ren looking at Scar. They both pause for a second... and then Scar resumes building his bridge towards the TNT. That part was too funny for me. Like "I know you saw me, but I can't stop now".
Honestly, that Sensor trap was quite possibly the greatest kill in the whole series. And of course, who else but Scar to fall for the most conspicuous thing ever.
I'm glad Etho is paired with Joel. Joel brings the crazy and willingness to go along with Etho's ideas, and Etho brings a level of calmness to keep Joel alive. Together they make a more balanced and effective form of chaos.
That TNT kill on Scar was like adding insult to injury after they died to Ren's leftover horde seems like the curse of traps never working on this series has finally been broken
Tbf cleo doesn't forgive, and will go to extremes for revenge - And doesn't just charge in sword drawn and banner flying. She is smart about it. Etho respects the fact that when she's mad, she targets the things that will hurt the most LONG term. She kills the villager, burns the base, finds the sugarcane, basically whatever gives you the advantage - she removes. She doesn't straight PVP. She waits for the perfect moment for the biggest effect. He does the same, but is less ride or die and more using that thought process all the time to level the playing field and get the edge. He's Big picture - she's ride or die. They respect each others intelligence, and both have the same analytical prowess and ability to think ahead.
Every silly decision that Scar made so far has been great for content though. Nabbing the enchanting table and then hiding it in a spot where it was practically guaranteed to be found eventually was kind of genious, too! In several ways, I'd say this episode actually shows Scars generosity :-)
Etho is lucky grian didn't hit him instead, either intentionally or accidentally. (although ren was probably an easier target than etho just because his movement was more predictable)

I love Etho's editing style, how kuch he leaves in. The quicker and slimmer videos can be nice, but seeing the little moments here and there "behind the scenes" really helps to flesh out series like this I feel like? The ending chatter here's kind of the perfect example of it, or when Grian came back to the others post-zombie and everyone chatted a bit about how insane that was.

there's something so satisfying about seeing Hermits, usually having safe fun on a peaceful server, just go unhinged. Fighting over limited resources, attacking each other, destroying and looting bases. It's just such a departure from the usual hermitcraft antics
Like Cleo mentioned in the last episode (I think) we don't get to see much Red Etho because he stays green sooooo long. I love Red Etho so much even though my heart gets pumping when he does dangerous acts and I want to yell "Be careful!"😂
Incredible episode. It's great seeing Etho get to be chaotic and destructive since we've not had the chance to see him red for long before. I can't believe how close he was to being hit by the stalactite either. It could so easily have been him instead of Ren.
Not sure if stalactites do damage unless they land on the block someone is standing on, I think etho could have been crouched over the hole and it would have passed through him and still skewered ren
21:50: That was so cool! It was kind of ironic & funny that, in BDubs’ video, he and Impulse were trying to figure out how to make a sensor bomb at the exact moment Scar died by the one Etho planted.
Etho is generally a pretty calm chill kinda guy, so it's so much fun to watch him being chaotic this episode :D Joel is honestly the perfect partner for etho, and that TNT sculk trap is just a chef's kiss, it was so good!
the only solution to people on a tower is someone being flinged up with 4 fishing rods and 720 noscoping 4 multishot crossbows loaded with maxed out firework rockets

This is the third season in a row something that held sentimental value to Etho has gone up in flames it's almost like it's canon (alongside Timmy being the first out)
I can think of two things in the 3rd life, the single dark oak by the village and the wool castle (and he found out cus his dogs started burning and teleported to him), what burned in last life? Also in fairness, by the end of this session Joel had made sure that everyone had something of sentimental value go up in flames lol.

Unironically loving watching this on 360p because the HD version doesn't seem to be up yet. Very nostalgic, and I've already seen the other perspectives, so I don't feel I'm missing out on many details.
This has to be the best episode of any of these "blank" life series'. I mean wow the skulk sensor kill without even really being surehow it worked, the zombie army randomly reemerging at the perfect moment and killing the last greens, and a stalagtite kill... How did all of these manage to happen in one session wow. No way I even forgot about the enchanting table randomly being found.
Etho and Joel are my favorite Minecraft TH-camrs and their styles are so different, so seeing them together and the absolute chaos that ensues has been amazing!
Etho, just because you're on red life doesn't mean you shouldn't pick up spare diamond armor. You can combine the armor in your anvil to be more protected.
Hi Etho, I really enjoyed this episode. That TNT trap was so funny as soon as I saw Scar bridging I knew exactly what was about to happen, it was still hilarious though!

I desperately, DESPERATELY need more limited-life content once this series ends (and it's getting pretty close, feels like). This is the most entertaining Minecraft content I've ever watched.
HAHAHA that clip at the end of Scar stabbing his finger IRL is honestly the best, in an episode full of great moments that was the one that made me laugh out loud 😂😂 I love Etho's editing style and how he includes the smaller, behind-the-action moments Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Etho and Joel are the *MOST* intimidating couple on the entire server, they're equally matched in skill and energy, and they've both got an intimidating reputation that everybody acknowledges-- even just within earlier episodes as well, Joel got the first PVP kill and it sent SHOCKWAVES throughout the server
Congrats on pulling off a successful trap! We know how rare those things are in this series. Red Etho is the best, so glad we get to see more of that this season.

I find it really funny how much my loyaltys shift depending on who's perspective I'm watching. I'll watch grian and be really excited that he escaped, but then I watch ethos perspective and I'm mildly upset that they escaped.
This series has been so fun. Them being tied together is interesting and I do like how it forces people partner with others they might not know very well (yeah like Scar and Grian lmao) but honestly it's just what has happened, it's been so fun to watch. I do wonder if the next seasons will be as good as this, I am sure they will be great but so much has happened in this series that it has felt like a 1 in a million chance... xD
I think I forgot to blink, I was so enthralled! This episode was a total rollercoaster, I loved every second of it. So many amazing deaths, I was laughing so hard when Scar set off that trap. And the dripstone one by Grian, I didn't even know that was possible! I keep forgetting they're not wearing helmets, mind you. Absolutely loving the chaos of Etho and Joel on red. They're such a laugh riot, and I'm always wondering what they're going to get up to, next. That army of zombies was pretty funny, too, though.
Etho and Joel as a tandem this season is just an absolute blast to have! Please continue on to win until the end, relationShip! also Bloodthirsty Etho is the best XD
After watching Ren's perspective of his final moments, I'm blown away at Etho and Joel's fortune. Ren was about half a second away from demolishing Joel, who had no idea what was about to happen to him. It seemed like some deus ex machina from a movie. With this kind of divine appointment, there's no way Joel and Etho don't make it all the way to the end.
The entire episode is full of comedy GOLD but I think 12:07 deserves a shoutout-- another criminally funny moment from Bdubs LOL: "YES WE UNDERSTAND THE MECHANICS ETHO, GOODNES SAKES"
Everything was calm, every joined to kill the Greens, in turn they killed themselves twice, but in revenge the relation-ship burned and then the fire nation attacked.
Love it Etho! Have to say you and Joel have a really great vibe. You calm him and he winds you up!! AND you have all the technical know how to make his evil plans come to fruition!! Hope you are the last two standing ❤️🙏
Dear Etho: Is it possible to make an anti-scar enchanter using the enchanter, observer, and tnt/minecart tnt? It would be fun to see an enchanter that people can use, but can’t take!
You can place down the enchanting table on a downward-facing, budded piston embedded into the ground. Breaking the enchanter or ANY of the blocks touching the piston (including the piston head) will trigger the trap. You would probably destroy the enchanting table by doing this, though.
Yeah, he probably saw Etho move, realized he missed, then all of a sudden he got the kill on Ren. That must've been an exhilarating rollercoaster of emotions within those two seconds!
I feel like bases are a tad mute at this point, at least for the red lives. If you're on the run, you want someplace to hide out, yes. But, if you remain attached to your stronghold, you won't be willing to escape, flank, counterattack, etc. Plus, it'd just take time away from the chaos; by the time they'd finish, half the server would be Game Over'd.
@@Klffsj The point isn't so much that its a safe space to get attached to, more that it'd be a *huge* magnet to attract enemies to. They would essentially be constantly luring everyone else to their deaths whilst doing minimal work and causing maximum chaos.
Love this series so so much . Just popped home from a party fairly inebriated and I'm enjoying it just as much as I've done sober for the previous episodes!
I really love how the more Life series the hermits do, the better they get- Seems like every series has been getting better and better, this episode being the cherry on top. This whole episode was just amazing.

Yeah I feel like Etho is one of the best at picking good moments and making them work together. Cleo is also very good at it.

Etho, just because you're on red life doesn't mean you shouldn't pick up spare diamond armor. You can combine the armor in your anvil to be more protected.
I believe, Grian's orginal target was Etho. Ren was an unexpected kill.
Hi Etho, I really enjoyed this episode. That TNT trap was so funny as soon as I saw Scar bridging I knew exactly what was about to happen, it was still hilarious though!

HAHAHA that clip at the end of Scar stabbing his finger IRL is honestly the best, in an episode full of great moments that was the one that made me laugh out loud 😂😂 I love Etho's editing style and how he includes the smaller, behind-the-action moments
Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Etho and Joel are the *MOST* intimidating couple on the entire server, they're equally matched in skill and energy, and they've both got an intimidating reputation that everybody acknowledges-- even just within earlier episodes as well, Joel got the first PVP kill and it sent SHOCKWAVES throughout the server

That trap was perfect, especially since you weren't even 100% sure on how it worked. I love how unhinged both you and Joel now are, the ship burns, everything burns! Burn your way to victory!

I find it really funny how much my loyaltys shift depending on who's perspective I'm watching. I'll watch grian and be really excited that he escaped, but then I watch ethos perspective and I'm mildly upset that they escaped.

This series has been so fun. Them being tied together is interesting and I do like how it forces people partner with others they might not know very well (yeah like Scar and Grian lmao) but honestly it's just what has happened, it's been so fun to watch.
I do wonder if the next seasons will be as good as this, I am sure they will be great but so much has happened in this series that it has felt like a 1 in a million chance... xD

I think I forgot to blink, I was so enthralled! This episode was a total rollercoaster, I loved every second of it. So many amazing deaths, I was laughing so hard when Scar set off that trap. And the dripstone one by Grian, I didn't even know that was possible! I keep forgetting they're not wearing helmets, mind you.
Absolutely loving the chaos of Etho and Joel on red. They're such a laugh riot, and I'm always wondering what they're going to get up to, next. That army of zombies was pretty funny, too, though.

After watching Ren's perspective of his final moments, I'm blown away at Etho and Joel's fortune. Ren was about half a second away from demolishing Joel, who had no idea what was about to happen to him. It seemed like some deus ex machina from a movie. With this kind of divine appointment, there's no way Joel and Etho don't make it all the way to the end.
Yeah, Etho's being charged by Ren, he turns around to run and and one second later Ren mysteriously dies.
Hands down favorite Double Life episode! Gave me lots of laughs during a stressful day.
The entire episode is full of comedy GOLD but I think 12:07 deserves a shoutout-- another criminally funny moment from Bdubs LOL:

Everything was calm, every joined to kill the Greens, in turn they killed themselves twice, but in revenge the relation-ship burned and then the fire nation attacked.

Dear Etho:
Is it possible to make an anti-scar enchanter using the enchanter, observer, and tnt/minecart tnt? It would be fun to see an enchanter that people can use, but can’t take!
You can place down the enchanting table on a downward-facing, budded piston embedded into the ground. Breaking the enchanter or ANY of the blocks touching the piston (including the piston head) will trigger the trap.
You would probably destroy the enchanting table by doing this, though.
I think Grian tried to kill Etho with that dripstone and missed, killing Ren.
Yeah, he probably saw Etho move, realized he missed, then all of a sudden he got the kill on Ren. That must've been an exhilarating rollercoaster of emotions within those two seconds!
A new base in the Ancient City would be the *ultimate* power move, with near unlimited trap potential too!
I feel like bases are a tad mute at this point, at least for the red lives. If you're on the run, you want someplace to hide out, yes. But, if you remain attached to your stronghold, you won't be willing to escape, flank, counterattack, etc.
Plus, it'd just take time away from the chaos; by the time they'd finish, half the server would be Game Over'd.
@@Klffsj The point isn't so much that its a safe space to get attached to, more that it'd be a *huge* magnet to attract enemies to. They would essentially be constantly luring everyone else to their deaths whilst doing minimal work and causing maximum chaos.
Love this series so so much . Just popped home from a party fairly inebriated and I'm enjoying it just as much as I've done sober for the previous episodes!

I really love how the more Life series the hermits do, the better they get- Seems like every series has been getting better and better, this episode being the cherry on top. This whole episode was just amazing.
