You are so right. When my mother passed away at 87, she wanted her casket decorated with happy faces, poker chips, baseball cards and things that made her happy, including upbeat music. She said life is an adventure until they stick me in the ground, then the party is just starting
I’m Mexican/ American living in Japan for 24 years and the thought has crossed my mind as to what I’m doing so far away from my homes in Arizona and Hermosillo, but I‘ve been comfortable living here in spite of the occasional earthquake and typhoon, and honestly don’t see myself going back to either Mexico or the U.S. Things are far from perfect here but “home is where the heart is”, and if you two enjoy living in Mexico, then live it up and enjoy the unique life path you’ve both taken, no matter how many times you make mistakes or have to move. Everything is a chance to learn and grow so full steam ahead both of you!!! 頑張ってね❗️👍
We dont judge you, we love you guys, we all make mistakes youre only human. Keep the good videos coming. Hi from Ciudad Obregón. Youll remember all thise experiencea when youre older.

I’m one of those that thinks that everything happens for a reason! Don’t be too hard on you guys..!!!! You guys are awesome and I love the fact that guys love Mexico! It’s a beautiful country to live in. I love your channel… be safe….
I live in México with the uncertainties of that cilindro de gas being empty. Best advice: buy a large electric skillet to use when you run out of gas. You can always cook up something in an electric skillet, even pancakes and eggs.
I'm glad you all found a new home!!! don't feel bad! we all make mistakes. I love seeing that you all don't give up and don't lose your sense of humor despite any trouble that comes your way! you guys are inspirational!
Mistakes are an inevitable part of life.... how quickly you respond and learn from them is what's important... Best to you ... Keep those videos comin... Keep your chins up!
One piece of advice for you beautiful couple - “Don’t live near a river or creek” It’s beautiful when you don’t have to deal with a hurricane! Wish you the best 🥰
You can sharpen knives on the bottom of a coffee cup. That's the part that doesn't get glazed. Run the knife across it just like you would on a sharpening stone.
Güera & Gregorio, you're preaching to the choir, i remember my adventures in Merida, opening a burger joint on a very commercial street and not having a single sale in 45 days! at day 25, our very loaded with meat frezer open itself and all got rotten and the dozens of cockraoches and the awful smell and all the cleaning we did, and the headache and discusions with my exgirlfriend were brutal, but we endure it, because life gives you all sort of situations and pitfalls.
Yes, they are genuinely asking you if you like roosters. Some mexicans wear roosters in leather belts, enjoy going to cockfights, symbolize masculinity in a way, their ranch, or even paint them on their trucks or use them as a logo of some sort. Some raise roosters, its a good symbol.
You guys are so awesome. These types of "life events" can really cause unbelievable stress on your relationship. Love watching you guys live life and so appreciate watch as I feel a part of your struggles and happiness. God Bless! Love your channel
Life comes with changes, you two are human. Don't be so hard on yourselves, keep moving forward. God will continue to bless the two of you. Love Your Channel .
Best wishes for you. Thanks for the videos and the report on the storm and floods, too. Nice having seen you at Freddy's Toucan and in the back streets of P.V.
I’ve been watching you guys since the start of the channel, love your no filter content having moved to Mexico my self 7 years ago I can relate(being Mexican my self) I know moving is a hassle but if your channel’s primary’s objective is to share how life in Mexico is for “non natives” it would be amazing to see you two experience what the totally of Mexico has to offer. Maybe create some sort of “foster familias” all around the country for you to experience. Tienen su casa aquí en Michoacán!
In the 4 years that I've been in Mexico the price of everything has risen from between 5 to 15 pesos. Just recently the cost of making an electronic deposit at Oxxo has risen 2 pesos! Highway robbery I tell you!
I am from Vallarta and you are right about when they ask you something and isn’t what you think! But don’t feel bad,yes they may laugh but in the good way , that’s how we grew up!!!
You two are cute. The good news is you are both aware of your mistake, it took a lot of courage to solve the mistake and take losses and you are both moving forward. The biggest lesson here is you learned from your mistake. It takes a lot of courage and humility to publicly share your mistake and struggle. Thank you for sharing this publicly. I’m sure it will help others through their mistakes. We all make them.
Laughed multiple times WITH you in this video, never at you! Hope your new place works out for you. Just one of the lines I laughed at, "carrots are a little big though" You're a lucky man, Greg. That would have warranted a slap upside the head at my house;-))
Years ago, 3 friends and I went to PV for a 10 day vacation. We rented a house in the hills above the church. It was beautiful, with pool , very open, had 2 kitchens, 5 bedrooms, all the stuff you want. We were there for 2 days when the water storage tank on the roof sprung a leak and flooded the entire house. So we too had to move to a different place. I feel your pain. Unfortunate that yours was a place you wanted to stay for a long time. Water ruins everything. Best to find a place next time that is on the 2nd or higher floor which is not backed up to a hill that can flood. Best of luck to you and stiff upper lip. Years from now you'll look back and laugh. We're all rooting for you.
Que bonita pareja !! hay muy bonitos lugares en el sur de México que que deberían conocer les va a encantar ! Gracias por estar y conocer nuestro México lindo y querido. Son Bienvenidos !!
Even though I've lived very poor in the US most of my life, I still have to remember that there are certain norms, and comforts that I'm used to, and as I get older i have less energy and resilience to live in the struggle. So I am learning to be gentle with myself when planning and making choices. Just because i have, and could live very very simply, it's also okay to seek a few comforts and indulgences. When I'm in Mexico, I now take into consideration that the most simple affordable path is not always the best. I can have a list of compromises, and wants that factor into the trade offs. It took me into my late 40s to learn this. So y'all are ahead of the curve.
You guys are amazing when I retire I want to go do what you guys are doing go living in Mexico or wherever I want for a month for a year I don’t care but just want to enjoy life somewhere outside the United States
You’re wearing a t shirt with a Gallo and then a stranger asks you if you like gallos; his question is genuine. Maybe he wanted to show you his gallos.
@@davidgaffney5531 …But his shirt has a Gallo. And the question came from a stranger; not likely to be “albur”. And very few would refer to a dude as a gallo. It’s usually vato, cuate, morro, etc.
Roosters crow all the time. They're saying "This is my territory." My neighbor has one that crows all night around the full moon when he can see at night. Took me a couple of months to get used to him so he wouldn't wake me up. Now I don't even hear him crowing at night when I'm asleep with the windows open..
Embracing change and accepting the situation is the key to a happy life. I just made a mistake with the place I chose to rent here in Guanajuato... I had made certain assumptions about the area...and I was totally wrong. I'll lose my deposit... life goes on. Eight years in Mexico and I still have lots to learn. Enjoy your new..new..new place :)

When we first got to Mexico, in our little town (SAN PANCHO), we paid 20 pesos per coconut... the same guy sell them now 3 years later for 50 pesos. It's a bummer but the truth is we have a coconut shortage here and they are trucked in from up north. Sorry about your apartment situation. Gotta ask: why didn’t you get some shots of your flooded place? Probably weren’t too inspired in that moment, but would’ve been a real dramatic moment for the video.
Do you guys shop inside the mercado near the tunnel? Enrique and his wife have a great cremeria there and the chicken guy is right next to them and the butcher is wonderful also. We used to shop there all the time as well as at Collins meat market and of course their bakery for bread. We left 3 years ago after living in PV for 10 years.
