I am on my 3rd 'Simple Human'. The company has gone through many redesigns of this product, always making it more sensibly.
However, as I mentioned, I am on my 3rd unit and this unit has stopped working. It was just a bit low on soap although not completely out of soap, and I added more of the same product to top it off. I had turned the unit off to do the refill. After refilling I turned the unit back on. All that I got was a softer sound of the mechanism (pump?) doing something but certainly not giving me any soap. I will call them now regarding what to do. It has been under 2 years so I do expect them to send yet another replacement. (The 4th). I have trouble justifying the use of an electric soap dispenser and I am thinking of going to a simple hand pump. I am seriously disappointed with this product and I fully expected the company to discontinue production of this product.

I have just spent hours looking at TH-cam videos on how to get mine to start working again.
All I’m left is to dry it with a hairdryer …. and if that doesn’t work I’m going back to disposable MANUAL hand pumps. This is my second one I bought, I’m starting to think it all just a gimmick.
A new term I learnt recently is “FALSE ECONOMY” which describes this perfectly- buy it cheap and they will last you for a few months or maybe a year, which then you buy it again, only for it to breakdown AGAIN.!!!
