So glad to see you back. I'm sure I can say we were all worried by your absence in thinking something awful had happened to you or a family member, so I think I can say on behalf of the rest of the world - welcome back, we have missed you!
That is very kind of you. My family and I are all very well. We have had lots of good changes going on at home so I needed to be about more for that and didn’t have the time to plan, film and edit videos. I won’t be doing as much as before but as long as I have access to some interesting cars I’ll keep doing the reviews 😁👍
Yes, I wondered if you had thrown-in the towel doing reviews, it's good to see you back. I like your reviewing style so I'm looking forward to many more of your reviews. Take care & stay safe.
I agree with all of the other comments, Ryan. It was so nice to see a review from you waiting for me. I hope this means you will be back again soon. Your reviews are different to everyone else's! You are very good at it!
I think it's lost some of its quirkiness in black on black. The white version looks the best for me. Good to see you back Ryan. You got me into EVs and your videos convinced me to buy one and I've never looked back.
Good to see you back. I've missed your content and style of presentation. Is everything ok, you were away for almost 8 months... I hope it wasn't anything major and either way it is very good to have you back.
Thank you. I’m all good and nothing bad happened. Lots of positive stuff going on at home that needed me to focus on and I didn’t have a computer or internet for a good few months 😬
EV Opinion All good. Thank you remember it’s my shout for the coffees and cake next time I am down your way. It would be great to see you in the coming months. Great to see you back filming! 😊👍 All the best to you and your family. Stay safe and take care.
Great to see you back Ryan, your have been missed. You hit the nail on the head, this car is Marmite and I fall on the don't like it side. From outside it looks OK, different but no more so than the likes of an i3. Inside it looks like an ikea shelf with a few cheap tablets flung on top. Then you get to that insane price. 10 grand more than the similarly sized (and better range) Citego and the same price as the bigger and with much better range e208/Corsa e/Zoe. I know some people will absolutely love it and i'm all for low range city car EV's (We need to stop encouraging people into EV's with massive batteries and a range they simply don't need) but this car is form over function for me. Hope to see more videos from you sometime soon
Best looking EV on the market. I'll be reviewing it myself next week and can't wait. I wish the battery was a little bit bigger. I have been driving 24kwh Leaf for over 5 years and need 100 miles real world range.
Thanks so much for appearing back in our inboxes Ryan. Another excellent review. I’m seriously thinking of buying this for the missus. You’ve really given me some sound advice before I took a test drive. Spot on as always. 🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥
Great summary. I love mini's and the mini probably has more performance and.. slightly more practicality but it's a lot more "normal" looking. I love that the Honda is in a way like a small i3 - rear wheel drive, no transmission tunnel (gap there like the i3) funky looking etc etc. I couldn't have one as my only car but... if I had lots of money and space for extra toys...;-) For now I am happy with my i3S.
Welcome back Ryan, your reviews and explanations are part of the reason I now have an ev in the drive, and will be changing our other car for one in due course.
Ryan, so glad to see you back. I sent a message via JustEVs a while back because I was concerned. So glad to see you back and I hope you and your family are well. Great review by the way, and I love it in black.👍🏻👍🏻😉
@@EVOpinion I'm not bad, just hoping my son can go back to school in September - I need a rest! I'm really pleased you're back, you can always message me on Twitter.
I was thinking the same as the other respondents - “I wonder where Ryan is and I hope that he and the rest of his family are OK...”. Great to have you back and I look forward to watching this video and the ones to come. Certainly plenty of new launches to keep you busy on the reviewing front :-)
Its very nice to see you again! Not heard from you in ages! I hope you are safe and well. In the meantime I bought an EV and I want to thank you for that, because you are one of the guys that convinced me to switch to electric mobility! Thank you for being an inspiration to me!
Good to see you back Ryan, I've missed your reviews over the past few months. Hope everything is OK and look forward to seeing more from you on here. I'm not a fan of this car - it's got a certain appeal and as a second car running around the doors it will be great for some, but I'm much more for a bigger car with a higher range. I'm sure there will be a certain age group that will be running to the showroom as it does have a certain charm that takes us right back to our youth, although we may struggle with the tech inside. I find driving a car with 2 screens slows me down whilst driving in the dark from the contrast of the lights shining in your eyes, while you try to focus on the road ahead. This will be like Blackpool illuminations across the dashboard, so I hope there will be a dimmer to tone the brightness down for night time driving.
Robert Francis Just drive one, before you think you need a sport version. Most people will run out of open road quick enough in an e (I used to own S2000 & Audi TT 2.0).
That’s a good jet black. There’s few really good auto blacks around. Probably the best at the moment, is Audi in the last five years or so. I do like the look of the Honda e, really good in black, apart from the 70s fake wood. Though I think it’ll end up being a second car for those that buy. Good in cities though with the tight turning circle. Good to see you back on channel and reviewing. Great review from the real owner/driver point of view. Stay safe and sane.
It's fantastic to see you back. I didn't know what happened until I looked at your Patreon as nothing on your Twitter that I follow either. I figured you would eventually return. Nice review as well for your return. It reminds me a lot of a Suzuki hatch I see driving around where I live but it's an ICE doubt Honda will bring it to Australia suspect too low sales numbers for them.
Delighted - - we have a old 24 leaf and a i3 for the wife - - i learned a lot from you - - delighted you are back and looking forward to a lot more -- all the best and be safe
Thank you. I’m all good. Lots going on at home but all good stuff. I didn’t have access to a computer or internet for a few months and then lockdown struck!!
Yes, it really needs to work for the town you're in. No big shopping trips, just running errands or "short" commuting to work and back. For the cost, in cities with proper public transporation you're far better off not owning a car at all.
Interesting, fair review. Yes, your right. I’m 70+ and this car has taken me back 40-50 years, and I'm loving driving mine. It's designed to be driven, and gets me to where I need to go. Heaven. Yes, there is lots of tech, and heaps of very modern safety features built in the advance model. Hit the Home button, and those screens will blank to plain wallpaper as you drive to Tesco and recharge while you shop. The boot is big enough for our shopping, even though it is small by comparison with a family car.
That’s an interesting perspective. I went along with the whole EV for major motoring and ICE for weekend drives, but maybe there is a nice centre ground. This thing looks like a modern classic already.
Lovely to have you back with us Ryan. Quirky car but I like it. Way too expensive though & I don’t think the range is acceptable these days even if it is a city car. Had two power cuts last night so if I had this plugged in I’d be concerned about what was available to me this morning. Looking forward to your next review.
Good to see you back Ryan. Nice to see an independent review again as opposed to others who pretend they are but always drop in comments to compare to their own 'premium Tesla'.
