Infact there is no given weight for the patient? What is the rationale please?

Well me i just divie 16ml/hr /250 dw then multiply to 12,500 and got 800 as my answer

Hey, it means that the 12500 unit of heparin is in the 250mls of dextrose. So get 1 ml of the fluid which will contain 50 units of heparin by dividing 12500 with 250mls. Then the answer which is 50, multiply by the 16 mls/ h to get the total heparin per hour. Thanks

​@@janewangui7123there is 12.5 unit heparin in 250 ml D5W . So find how many units in 16 ml . So that will be the heparin unit in 16 ml /h, I found 0.8 !!!!!
