Cool guide and probably enough information for most players! Though I gotta point out Defeat res is % amount of your max HP your opponent's damage must exceed, so basically in order to avoid knockbacks you get high a HP pool, but defeat rate like most other stats can be reduced with debuffs. Some chars (mostly bagi and hunter) have a knockback effect in certain hits of their skills, this can't be avoided with defeat rate or with anything else, you just gotta learn which skill and which hit does it.

I think mele.dmg is when you hit someone normally without using skills. And dmg resis is overall dmg taken.
Will be better if you add the Cap of all stats. Like max Shield Rec or Max Crit Resist or Max PVP DMG Resist.
