Back in the late 80s they had Burger Buddies. So good! You could buy them in packs of three or six. They were about the size of a 2 bite brownie. I got them all the time. They should bring those back!
Why is it that most people seem to have forgotten about the Chicken Whopper?! This was a Whopper with a flame-grilled chicken breast filet instead of a beef patty-and it was sooooooooooo tasty! It needs to be brought back from the void ASAP!
I'm STILL ticked off about the Sweet Potato Fries! I was buying several cartons roughly every single day, at most every other day! Then...POOF! They were gone without a trace... never to be seen or heard from again! Hoped in vain that I could get them at the same time the following year (rather like how the McRib keeps coming back at McDonald's), but alas, it was not to be. And don't even get me started about the CiniMinis... just regret on top of disappointment with profound heartbreak.
This may be going back too far however I miss my favorite fast food sandwich of all time was the whaler by Burger King that fish sandwich was the best bar none then it disappeared and now we're stuck with the crap of today
I love Burger King. It was the only fast food joint in my town growing up right in between the high school and the little league fields. I'd crush a Whopper with cheese meal after every little league practice and the dining room was that 70's style gold and maroon and it had replica oil paintings of old movies like The African Queen and Casablanca. My mom still has my Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi glasses from Burger King promos.
Fun fact: BK Burger Shots weren't Burgerkings first foray into tiny burgers, Back in the 90's they had a similar product called the Burger Buddies. They were 2 mini burgers connected together one side that you split appart. They were really economical for my family back in the day, because they were under 50 cents. For 2 burgers. Dad would take us to burger king and treat his 4 kiddos for under a dollar. And we were ecstatic, because yeah burgers are good. But what kid doesn't go nuts for TINY food? Kid sized cheese burgers for the whole family lol
They used to sell these cheddar curly fries that kids would get and you would have to shake the bag in order to spread the cheese and I absolutely miss those fries Idk why they ever got rid of it honestly but it was my favorite thing to get at burger king when I was a kid and this was around the early 2000’s.
We had the "Sixpac" in Germany which was basicially 6 Sliders formed in the shape of a Sixpac belly...you could choose between Hamburgers, cheeseburgers or Chilli cheeseburgers.
The shots where the sht nice and small like a White castle but better meat..and flame broiled them...I heard they got rid of them cause they would fall the thru the flame broiler..
Burger King is my go-to when I'm at work. Because it's closest to my place of employment. But, the food is terrible now. I had to BK fish, BK King, and the BK quarter pounder and there is nothing to them. They are mostly bun and very low quality now. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in Burger King. I've been a BK snacker for 35 years and I think I'm done. With the low quality food I don't know how they can survive in a fast food market much longer in the United States.
And to think, at one time BK could NOT be beat by anybody. The REAL Whopper and Whaler were better than any other item at any fast food restaurant. BK really went south when they discontinued using the conveyor broiler.
My location still has tacos, but not on the app OR the menu. But I always ask for them and get them, try asking next time. Not sure why they have an item and don't put it in the menu.
Does anyone remember a meat burger in long buns (The Original Chicken Sandwich type) from late 90s or early 00s? I remember it had mayo, ketchup and mustard. It was the best burger in the world in my memory and I can't find a single trace of it online. I think my mind is tricking me...
Not been much of a fan of Burger King, they haven’t been all that good since, the late 70s to mid 80s. After they’re original fried chicken sandwich left that’s when, Burger King went down hill. Aka/ the original fried chicken sandwich that was long and on a hoagie bun. MCDONALD’s eventually had there version of the same sandwich they done away with there’s a year and half later. I went back to Burger King when they put it on the menu in mid 2017 or 18 somewhere the 2000teens, it just wasn’t as good as it once was.
What menu item did you love that is no longer around?
Cheesy hash browns.
Salted caramel shake in 2018. It was a staple for my pregnancy cravings
I wanted to try the Mac and Cheetos. now they gone man! I still love the chicken sandwich
The Cheesy Bacon BK Wrapper! That was my JAM!!!
The perfect cherry pie. Circa 1995-1997ish. Still miss it soo much.
I honestly have no clue what I'm watching anymore but I'm enjoying it
Me too! So funny.

No burger buddies
No peace
Bring back the old chicken tenders. They were unique and good. Also mini muffins were good
Why is it that most people seem to have forgotten about the Chicken Whopper?!
This was a Whopper with a flame-grilled chicken breast filet instead of a beef patty-and it was sooooooooooo tasty!
It needs to be brought back from the void ASAP!
The mushroom, swiss double cheeseburger. It was gooey goodness.
Wow, sounds wonderful
Burger King had like this Patty Melt type burger on Sourdough bread in like 2008 or 2009 that I think about from time to time.
I remember when BK had the little breakfast buddies those were so good along with the mini blueberry muffins
I really want to try that Burger King breakfast buddy. Hoping they bring it back
I was so sad when they took away the Mac n Cheetos. Really hoping they eventually come back someday cause they were so damn good
Yes I truly loved the Mac and Cheetos

I miss that sandwich too. Had one almost every day for lunch.
I agree
YES YES YES YES !!!! I was always torn between having to choose the Whaler or the ORIGINAL Whopper. It was a tough choice to make.
The Yumbo from the 1970's was awesome
Burger King has a lot of great food cooked right away, and fresh ingredients flavor.
The French toast sandwiches were amazing 🤤😋🤤🤤🤤
I just wish they had their OLD fires from my childhood!

You can actually do that trick even in places with mild climates. We did it as a science lesson when I was in high school in Northern Michigan.
How about the Whaler, and the "ORIGINAL" Whopper ? I really miss those two items.
The chicken fries are delicious. I also like the French toast sticks. It’s interesting to see the great risks that Burger King tries. Great video.
I love the Burger King chicken fries
The Rib Sandwich was so good! Way better than McRib. I also miss the chicken burger they served a few years back.
Dang, I hope they bring rib sandwiches back
They used to sell these cheddar curly fries that kids would get and you would have to shake the bag in order to spread the cheese and I absolutely miss those fries Idk why they ever got rid of it honestly but it was my favorite thing to get at burger king when I was a kid and this was around the early 2000’s.
There's an appalling lack of Angry Whopper mentions in this video.
The French chicken sandwich and the BK Broiler
I loved the bk boiler
I think y’all are forgetting the ultimate B.K creation…The Whopperito!
I wish they'd bring back the Big Whopp.
I hated making those!
The Whopperito! I never got a chance to try one, but I think it was such an amazing concept!
I can only hope it someday returns!
The old chicken tenders is what I miss.😥

@@meauxjeaux431 yes, Burger King definitely has gone downhill
i miss the old fries.
You can't trust Burger king. They bring all of these wonderful treats from heaven and then take them away.
Tacos!!!!!
yeah the tacos sold like gangbusters

I loved their tacos! Finger crossed they bring them back soon.
They used to make a chili that was spicy and way better than Wendy's. They stopped making it and I don't know why.
Aww man Burger King chili sounds so delicious
@@MsTwiththeTea1980 it was and I think that they maybe stopped making it because it was really spicy maybe too spicy for customers.
@@candyjustcandy well darn
Miss there curly fries I love there chicken fries and yes there sweet potateo fries
The only thing consistent about Burger King is their consistently bad decisions about what they add to, and take off, the menu.
If something is popular but if one old fart complains it's immediately gone
Anyone else remember the chicken tender sandwich?
The Tendercrisp sandwich? Yes.

Think that was the extra long whopper or something like that
@@InnocenceLost. Unfortunately not, it wasn't two patties, or at least I REALLY don't remember it being two patties. Time doesnt line up either :(
I'll stick with a whopper and side salad.
I wish my Burger King still had salads
Nothing was touching their old chicken tenders
Hello There America
Hello 👋

Bring back the tendercrisp. Best chicken item they’ve ever had. The newer chicken sandwich is flat and trash
You can easily make Mac n Cheetos.

It was hormel chili from a can
