- The 2021 AMA Supercross series is winding down. As the racers head to the three-round stop at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Ken Roczen does everything he can do to keep a tight rein on Cooper Webb in the 450 title chase. Meanwhile, Jett Lawrence begins prep for the 2021 Pro Motocross Championship while older brother Hunter lines up with the 250SX West racers in Atlanta.

Ya Sexton finishing in front of Kenny didn't help either if your teammate is not in the championship hunt he should help out instead of getting in the way. Team tactics I completely agree with them when it comes down to a title as long as they don't get in the way or take out the other rider going for the title. I gotta a feeling Roczens going to be replaced by forkner next year if he decides to move up or even Micheal Cianciralo! Kenny has a clause in his contrat to win Honda their smfirst 4 stroke 450 SX Campionsjip and he has failed miserably. He is still the fastest sprinter but he can't run that pace for the full race where Webb can even if he smhas to get passed in the beginning he keeps a huge reserve dmfor the end of the race.
Smart move and not team tactics. Its head games and nobody is as good as Paul at getting into Roczens and Hondas head!!!

Hopefully the Lawrence bros realize how damn lucky they are to have a father like Darren. The guy is so passionate and involved, and not in your typical "go faster" type way.

This series is SO FUCKING GOOD. Goddamn. This just puts this championship in a whole new light and I absolutely love it. Please never ever stop making this series.
The difference between Elite riders such as Cooper Webb is he takes responsibility for himself. No matter what other riders do or say he handles the situation without complaining or excuses. You never hear a excuse from the the top elite. You never hear them comment on what another rider should do. Their focus is always on what they can do to take responsibility for their situation.
Hoping that Atlanta becomes a regular stop on the SX series schedule. We need another Daytona type track in a huge outdoor setting!

Id Paul can stay healthy i bet he will get 4 Supercross titles like RV and Dungey. Had he not hit the concrete last year he would have won that championship to. He is the best racer in the sport right now. It reminds me of his 250 days and i couldnt be more happy for him. He may seem cocky in the interviews but just like Carmichael he uses every weapon in his arsenal. Outside of racing he is so laid back and such a class act! But once that helmet goes on he becomes a totally different person. He will be the 2022 and 2023 champion baring any injuries. With a month off he should be a top contender in the outdoors. Winning the SX championship he has zero time to get ready because all the commitments and travel he has to do for being the champ.

When riders start worrying about getting hurt and they are riding cautious....thats when they lose their edge. When Hannah was young he was a complete animal...but as he got older and had a lot of injuries he just wasnt willing to push to the limit anymore. I think this is where KR is at....

Outdoors should be fun. I have high hopes for the Lawrence brothers .. Saw Jett beat pretty much all top EU non pro's (EMX 250) when he was like 13 year old (i believe it was a round at an Italian GP), he is the real deal.

I think roczen has nothing to hold his head low for considering where he came from the past 3 years. Webb has a similar story when he started the 450 class.
At Salt Lake this past week, Webb and Marv were about to catch Kenny anyway. I think Webb was going to catch and pass Marv first and he wouldn't have played the "team" tactics and not even stuck a wheel in there. Then he would have passed Kenny a lap or so later. So, as a Webb fan, I was not happy to see Roczen go down like I was the week before.
Ken Roczen going down with a 12 second lead!! Then picking it up and still having a 6 second lead!!! Then Ken Roczen basically "stopping and pulling over and letting" coop pass him in the corner ... SUMS UP THE ENTIRE SEASON.
And Coop's mechanic 21:30 , "he's like a shark, that's impressive".
...yeah....I am sorry to say, not really, man.... Coop only has to be second best behind Roczen, and Roczen will ALWAYS hand over the win to coop on a silver platter. What is impressive and very fustrating is Roczen commitment to giving Coop wins.
Being second best isn’t exactly easy and he is a shark just so happens Kenny is always his prey.

But, in this modern era of the sport it has been gutted and emaciated by protocols and politics of the AMA old boys club to a point where a top 5 rider in the world has trouble with sponsorship. The most badass sport on the planet strangled to the point where coming in 2nd in a championship can get you dropped from a sponsor. I commend the 1 rider who publicly speaks his mind.
