@@baggazz Actually, looking at it in the long run, they don't have plot armor. It's literally been less than a year, and the fact that new, good players have come into the team have given Karasuno the ability to get into national's. That stuff is normal. They've even lost to Aoba Jousai before.

If you haven't read the manga and have only watched the anime, I guess you can call it plot armor but they definitely don't have it with how their next game goes. In the future as well, they've never won Nationals once. Just gotten close to it. So no, no plot armor. Another reason why I love this series so much. They're not afraid to have the team lose and not win at all.

On a more serious note, the reason why the shorts don't have pockets is because the fingers can be accidentally caught in the pockets, and since the players have to run fast it can cause injuries.

Atsumu is honestly my favorite Haikyuu character. He's so freaking charismatic, and i love it when he just ha a huge, dumb smile on his face when he plays.

the dynamic and chemistry of Tsumu and Samu being twin brothers just makes it even more golden
watching this season's animation is so painful. i feel bad how we're not getting the usual quality animation for this season esp i kind of want the best for the miya twins and inarizaki team
Same...even though Miya twins still look good for most parts, I want to see some of the plays in the old animation style.
Yeah I kinda agree, I can’t stand ep. 15 at all so I always skip that and read its part in the manga lol. Part 2 especially was affected by the pandemic so the animation in the first half was really shaky, the second half (starting from ep. 20) got better though.

I like both the old and new art style and as you said, this match was shown superbly in the manga, which the new art style follows now. The problem here isn’t art style, it’s animation. There was a staffing change and one of the animators was fired. Part 2 was released during the pandemic (the animation in part 1 is still pretty good and consistent, part 2 is the problematic one).
i always think that miya atsumu's serves are extremely killers. imagine we'd get the animation for atsumu the same way they animated oikawa and ushiwaka's serves.

It's been a year since this season aired and Atsumu saying "because I'm a setter" still makes me tear up. Kudos to Mamo for making it 100x more emotional than it already is.
The Miya twins will forever be one of my most favorite duos. Their story and dynamic just stays with you. It's amazing.

i honestly think inarizaki and nekoma should’ve won against karasuno, inarizaki was literally the top 2 last year.. the 2nd best team there at nationals because they have really strong players and nekoma’s play strategy is “getting used to it” so they would’ve eventually tore down karasuno. i understand the dumpster match and karasuno’s “redemption” arc but it just doesn’t add up for me
