I wish that Jason / Kleenoil responded by now but, as a "bypass filter", it merely siphons off about 10% (10% seems to be a standard. "seems" as in I have done a lot of research and that is what all bypass filters are said to do) of the oil that comes out of the regular filter, filters that, and sends it back on its way, thereby having no impact (well, in real world terms) of the flow to the engine. As a few hours tick by with the engine driving the entire system is filtered a few times over by the much finer bypass filtration unit.
P.S. It's a bypass filter. The OEM filter stays where it is and this is added as an additional filter system. All bypass filters use a smaller hose that feeds into it and once it passes through, it reenters the engine at a point you designate, like the oil pan, valve cover, oil fill cap, etc.. Most multi-million dollar machines have similar filters to cut operating costs, significantly.
Jason Lazaroff would you make the "Beta Ratio" available? I am very much interested in this unit and that just may be enough to persuade me to get one. A definite sell would be if you have this (or something comparable) in a spin-on filter unit. :)

You need the oil test kit to sample and send off for testing to get the true results of the contamination particles in your oil .

kleenoil and trabold are so pretty good bypass systems!! i use trabold. i installed it myself at the engine of vw 2.0 tdi 140hp 12.000km ago.
