I just love when Midoriya said, All Might was my hero, but you...you were the one actually in my life !!! That says a lot about why Deku still follow Bakugo even if he can be a jerk...
@@pdxmorte2010 While it does give off that impression, what he means by that is that Deku, while having nothing, attached himself to someone who had everything. All Might was his role model, but Bakugo was the strongest person he actually knew and he wanted to know how to be strong.
Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but it also reminds me of the fact that Midoriya is the child of an absent father, and that he had, before joining UA, few figures in his life he was close to or could look up to. Bakugou, by default, kind of became that...it’s like a hero worship/friendship/dependency thing.
Bakugo's always been a thinker, they make note of it in Season 1. He is extraordinarily gifted physically AND mentally across the board (He took a direct hit from Deku's 8% strength and still beat him if that tells you how strong he really is). Pretty much his personality is his only weakness, he's just that gifted. But while he has always been an ass, he's never been evil, he has always done little things to show that he is has a heart, for example he heard about Kirishima paying a lot of money for Night Vision Goggles when they went to rescue him and paid him back later. He also used that moment both as a distraction to not make it obvious he was talking to Kirishima but to provide laughter for the class (Who just got their spirits broken by Aizawa) through making Kaminari go into his dumb phase The best characters tend to be characters with conflict and contradiction and everything about who Bakugo is and what he is capable of has always been at odds, it took a lot of people a long time to get it but he's always been great from about halfway through season 1 onwards. There's a lot of great details about who he is, he has exceptional knife skills in the kitchen, implying he knows his way around household chores and duties when most kids other than Iida probably did not. His mother while as loud and as brash as he is also explained herself in a way that shows she does in fact understand her son's mindset and also showed appreciation for UA also understanding what his mindset and goals are despite his attitude. So he comes from a "unique" but loving home. It wasn't just this episode that solidified Bakugo's popularity, he was always popular, this episode is generally the one though that for those who really haven't been paying attention finally get a chance to go "Oh I understand Bakugo now." if any of the other hints weren't enough.
What are you talking about? Bakugo took a direct hit at 5%. He never took a direct hit at 8% other than when he blocked his kick. The dialogue clearly said that he couldn't use 8% in his arms because they were recently fucked up. Only his legs were able to contain 8% at this point. Even then the only hit Bakugo took was with him blocking the hit and his arm got messed up.
After watching this episode, that was when I definitely started liking Bakugo and actually understood his character development. I hate how it got to that point of me liking him because I didn’t back then
@@DeltaDrifter2201 have you seen ova 2? bakugou used howitzer impact on the ice while fighting todoroki so it doesn't injure him in season 2. in the ova he used howitzer directly and it almost destroyed deku's body but didn't kill him. if he used an howitzer at full power he could've killed deku. he's always holding back so he doesn't accidentally kill someone as 13 stated
I like how in the previous episode they're talking shit about Bakugo, but now in this episode it successfully managed to change their mind about him in an instant.
Cameo Mitsunobu I always loved Bakugo this episode just made me love him even more people who hate on Bakugo are people who failed to understand his character his anger towards Deku’s sudden growth is just like how Sasuke was angry at Naruto’s sudden growth or when Vegeta was angry at how Goku was better than him
@@afroallura3791 He was pretty damn popular in Japan even before this chapter. More or less ever since the tournament arc he was in the lead. His popularity poll rankings did soar after this or at least put him in the uncontested lead, though.
Sure Deku was only using 8% but at the same time Bakugo isn't at his top power yet, he is still only a kid, and he is already stronger than most heroes. Deku as he grows will unleash more percentage just as Bakugo will grow stronger.
There's that and bakugou won for another reason this fight mattered more to him. Deku said earlier that this fight didn't matter it wasn't about who won who lost it would have been nice to win but it's a difference between needing to win and just wanting to. in my humble opinion if there was someone that would have died if he had lost this fight there is no way he would have lost. Bakugou however is like this 24/7 he hates losing more than anything.
thank you!! deli still can not control his power so even if he was at 100% he would have killed him 😭 and bakugo is STILL A CHILD he’s not at his full capacity himself.
Gosh, this episode always hits so well. This entire season has just given so much realistic development to Bakugo. Before, he seemed kind of annoying and one dimensional but being captured and burdened with All Mights end, I think it was right that he found out the truth. The dialogue especially explains so much of their inner consideration that people usually overlook, it's just so clear once it's put all together. Horikoshi has done such a good job. Todoroki even figuring more about the person he should be, it just shows how different everyone's path is. I can't wait to see how much further this big 3 goes.
Hey, something about "Big Three's" I realized while reading this... Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece were the old Jump Big Three, right? They were by far the top three titles for ages, action series that defined a generation. So, what is the new Big Three? I'd wager to say, if One Piece is disqualified given its great age, the New Big Three would be Demon Slayer, Promised Neverland, and My Hero Academia. Just a thought. What do y'all think?
yeah i know you guys were harping on kacchan last episode but this fight and this development is what lead skyrocketed kacchans popularity in the fandom and yeah clifford's va work on this dub is exceptional
Yeah, its phenomenal in both, English and Japanese (I am saying this because when someone says it's good in English people automatically start to think that it's bad in Japanese, stereotype). There more good English dubs than people think, but My Hero Academia, Code Geass and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood's English dubs are the top definition, they're on another level (and shouldn't be compared to other dubs because it will make them look too average lol).
I love how honest Bakugo was at the end admitting he threw the first punch, well until I think it's more from pride than humility. He wouldn't accept not being first lol.
I think I read somewhere that Bakugou hates liars, though that may be a headcanon implied through his actions (when he thought Deku lied bout his quirk, not wanting to pretend with the villains, Shindo, etc.)
@@kichonacho800 He seems the kind of person who's always "in your face" about everything he does. He doesn't care about playing nice with others and pretending to be someone he isn't, so I guess he wouldn't ever lie about anything (unless it was something super personal that he doesn't want to share I guess, but in that case he'd just break up the conversation and leave, he still wouldn't lie about it I think)
Bakugo: why you lose? Bakugo is thinking, with the power of all might deku need to win becouse hes going to be the best hero, bakugo say this becouse deku dont have to lose to anyone
they'd be crying before they even get to arlong and that's still within the first 50 episodes. but yeah. LOOOOONG series that still isn't over unlike naruto. (not counting boruto)
It's really something I appreciate about this show! Horikoshi doesn't go and explain to everybody what the characters are going through. Just because a character didn't talk about his feelings in a while doesn't mean they didn't change. It's something i really appreciate about this show. Stuff that happens, really affects these characters, not just Deku. All of class 1A and even the adults go through constant progress and change and what happens during the course of the year, doesn't just get past them. It's something that we can really see with all the characters once you pay attention to it. It's often difficult when you don't pay attention to them, and how strongly most fans are surprised when they first see Bakugou's apparent change this episode proves how subtly it is often done. We see most of the story from Deku's point of view so it is easy to see how he grows and what troubles him. With the other characters (even important once like Bakugou) it's a lot more difficult to see, and really necessary to read between the lines and make your own theories and think about how an event could have effected a character. For example we really only learn at the end of season two how much the USJ incident actually shaped Mineta's opinion of what makes a hero, or How much Momo was unsettled by her performance during the sports festival.
You need to watch "Katsuki Bakugo: Crushed by Expectation" by Oceaniz, it does a great job of analyzing Bakugo's character and what made him that way he is.
@@1999bazz I haven't read the manga. Is the "greater Bakugo moment" going to happen in season 4? I'd heard that season 4 has very little of Bakugo. I figured we probably have to wait for season 5.
Of course none of you understood (especially the one on the far right) why Bakugo said “y did you lose”? He said that cause he expected Deku to win this fight since he had All Might’s power and that he shouldn’t be able to lose to no one thats y he asked that question
Yeah, that single question is what me understand Bakugo a lot better than any other insight we had on him, be it earlier this episode or in the past episodes. So it really does kinda pain me that it just flew over their heads ^^'
“Because I didn’t want to kill you” *flash back to Deku unleashing 100% power* honestly Bakugo is forgetting Deku can take down buildings with his attacks, and to those saying after muscular him saying he ruined his body and he’ll go paralyzed that was only his right arm. His left arm and legs can still be broken without big repercussions
@@colemcgrath644 That's literally not the point of any of this. Bakugo wanted to fight Midoriya to see, firsthand, what All Might saw in him. His expectations were the same of the tournament arc. Fight as hard as you can, all the time, in order to achieve TOTAL victory. As in, victory in which he could proudly claim he beat someone at their best of their abilities. That was what his whole gripe was with Todoroki. This fight? It was his way of coping that, IF Deku won, IF he had been totally beaten, then that MUST be the reason why All Might chose him. That there would be no way for a successor to lose to someone like Bakugo. He believed in Deku in the sense that he would win, otherwise he just couldn't grasp why he was chosen.
@@colemcgrath644 I mean, Bakugou can use "Howitzer Impact" and nuked the whole place or put a hole through Deku's stomach with "AP shot"? These two can kill each other with no problem tbh
Piolo Astorga and Allmight chose him because he risked his life to save someone while quirkless. Deku using 100% risking his life fighting muscular to protect Kota was him showing why he became a hero. A real fight is life or death not to measure dick size like bakugo asked him to. Even when pinned down he could have just 100% flicked bakugo into a building. I get it’s a last resort but if he was fighting to kill bakugo as a “TOTAL” victory Deku would win. The other guy said AP shot or howitzer but that only works on slow enemies like todoroki when frozen/using both sides was immobile during sports festival. Bakugo misses most of his shots with Deku at 8% and with how linear howitzer is he cant land it unless Deku crippled his legs
In japanese, Deku call Bakugo the avatar of victory...it's petty much the best description of him ! They are both side of a coin, kinda the whole point of the serie...Now can can be a little more of each !
“But my idea of victory is so tied to the image of you...” I’m not even a Bakudeku but that HITS every single time I rewatch this episode. Personally prefer the sub for this episode but my GOD the English VAs went off!!! HYPE LEVEL IS OVER 9000!!!!
Rana crying at the end was such a mood I cried so much while watching this episode bcs we’ve never seen bakugo this vulnerable and there was so much pain in his face and voice and like everyone said it’s hard to remember that he does have feelings and hardships and he does have an inferiority complex so it was that much worse for him and I realized exactly why bakugo hates delusional so much He honest to god felt like Deku was looking down on him all his life when he also felt like deku was weaker than him I would hate someone too if they were always looking down on me so I finally fully understand him
Bakugou will always be my favorite character in My Hero Academia. I love his struggles, his self awareness, how he'll call out anyone, man, woman, or child XD. He gets even better in the manga. Y'all haven't seen nothing yet!!
@@mordredvonumbra154 yeah the OG takes the cake in my opinion.. and no I dont watch the sub. Raw version for me lmao. Dub ain't it for me but I love this channel so here I am
I am so glad the show is taking its time peeling back the layers with Bakugou!! He is a great character! He is a kid with anger issues, who was never taught how to channel his aggression into anything positive. I love how the teachers see the potential in him, and put in the work, and the faith, to guide him to greatness, rather than shut him down entirely. He NEEDS this competitive physicality as an outlet for the emotions he doesn't know how to process. This whole show is crammed with themes of masculinity and father figures, in all their forms, and I love it so much!!!
It was in this episode that I fell in love with bakugou. It was the first time I actually understood what his character was. It is so deep, that it's almost impossible for me to explain it with words. 😃😀
One of my favorite episodes in the series. Really gives amazing insight into why Bakugo is the way he is and the complexities of his character. Legitimately made me start to like him.
This episode was such a big turning point for me. While I tried to like Deku and Todoroki (I do like them) it was just hard. I really loved Bakugo and his character development, he's really changed from the beginning to right now in the manga.
I really don't understand why, he is just annoying, he is just a grumpy kid, who lives in anger very single second???, in my opinion Endevour is a more mature and polished version of Bakugo, I like him a lot more but Bakugo, Bakugo is is a bad ass though.
Bro, I wish Horikoshi never brought up the One for All % thing and just went with "controlling power output" or something, people keep getting confused with it and keep saying things like "haha and they think Midoriya's using his all, he's just at his 8%" bro that's One for All's percentage not Midoriya's, 8% One for All is Midoriya's current 100% and One for All ain't the only quirk that scales depending on your body strength, Bakugou's Explosion is a clear example of a quirk that will grow stronger the stronger Bakugou's body gets as he will be able to withstand the recoil of his own explosions. And I don't say this just to give more credit to Bakugou or to deminish Midoriya, but I feel like this confusion that people keep falling into makes the show seem as if Midoriya was the only one improving and the show's not only about Midoriya but everyone in UA, class A specifically.
You're wrong it is just 8 percent of deku uses a 100 it breaks his bones do you not pay attention? He could kill bakugp with a maxed out punch like he almost did to shigaraki
?????? No? First of all, the "he's only at 8% bruh" is a comment about the huge potential Deku has. Second of all 8% does not break his bones, that is the entire point of not using the full strength of one of all, we went over this whole thing in detail when he was trained by Torino. I mean Deku literally says that he lost control a little, but it didn't hurt him because through training his body was able to take 10% without getting hurt, he still could've opted to one shot Kachan with a 100% punch though, which would've broken Dekus arm.
Yoo same!! When he stared talking about percentages i was like "why? Why is it necessary to bring numbers and percentages into this?" Because I know people generally don't even attempt to put those numbers into context and just let their imagination run away with them. I've been hearing people even say Bakugo was weak and used this fight as justification because "Deku was only using 8% of his full power"...........I'm like ".....wut?" I mean I get people like their favorite character but that doesn't make everyone else garbage.
@@lyrrr.8059 I think you didn't understand a single thing about what I just said. I'm not saying Deku should use OfA at 100% or anything, in any case I'm agaisnt counting his 100% output as his own power/merit which is the contrary. And people that make those comments (he's only at 8% bruh) never mean it as in "look at how much potential Deku has", because they don't use those terms with any other character, never have I seen someone say "Look at Kirishima's potential, he could become invincible" or "Look at Todoroki, if he could tolerate extreme temperatures even more he could frezee and burn at a much larger scale", NEVER and I've seen a lot of reactions. What my comment says is that people get so confused about OfA percentages as if everyone was at 100% and Deku was at 8% as if the rest of the characters worked with percentages, people mix the percentage you can count on someone's total own power and OfA percentage. If you don't wanna read the whole thing, basically what I mean is that people mixing up the meaning of the percentages make them think that the show is only about Deku improving and no one else and clearly it's not.
Do you remember what All Might said during their exam last season? "They have so many confused feelings about each other that they don't even know how to interact anymore."
the problem with dubs, even if they "fit" they are not really what the author wanted them to say. With just that frase in the Dub Bakugo looks like a person that couldn't keep up and moved without thinking. While in the sub it makes him look like someone that always has a plan and his mind in the ground.
@@yiledute exactly. Weirdly enough even subtitles said "i cannot think" or something like that Or at least the one I saw. "Dont let him think" implies so much about dekus abilities and how much Bakugo knows how to exploit his weaknesses
yiledute subtitled face the same issue, you get less information across with text over a shorter amount of time, depending on what is said in the original language. Since Asian languages are so different to European ones it’s an extremely hard balance to keep on both ends. Neither are really superior, despite what elitists of each side might say.
The dub for this show is definitely good. There are many good voice actors working hard here and pouring their hearts in to the roles. However, if you're interested, you should check this fight/episode out with subs. Bakugo's Japanese va really kills these scenes as well and the mangaka personally called him out to thank him for bringing the scene to life.
There was so much emotion in Bakugo's voice when he was blaming himself for All Might's retirement. Major cudos to the voice actor. I already liked Bakugo but this episode really sealed the deal for me.
Everyone out here with a tearjerker of a backstory, their families die, they get bullied, they are ostracized by society.... Meanwhile Kacchan: I got fucking stalked by Deku! XD
One of my favorite episodes, I do think the Japanese voice actor for Bakugo captured his emotions better but the dub version was still good, just my opinion tho
Honestly though the Japanese voice was amazing in that scene. I don’t even know how to words how much I loved that the first time I saw it. It gave me chills.
Junior the voice actors are great and bring across the emotions well. The translation changing of lines sometimes is just really weird in the dub though. The one I usually think of my hero academia is changing oh my goodness to holy stinking super crap or something like that when all might saw deku finished the beach. I will never understand why they did that.
Silent Shadow I actually prefer that line, it shows the more goofy side of all might. And likely they did it to make it fit with the mouth movements better.
Honestly, this is the best English dub for Anime that i ever know. Every dub voices really similar to the japanese vo tho. Especially Bakugo and Tsuyu. Damn❤️
How would Bakugou not feel guilt over All Might losing his powers? Him getting captured was the catalyst for All Might's fight with AFO. All Might's the epitome of strength which is why Bakugou admires him so much. Given the type of person Bakugou is, it's not strange for him to believe that he is at fault for All Might having to save him due to his own weakness.
@@chinyereugwu9431 It would be pretty useless for Deku to blame himself after All Might made the conscious decision to make him his successor. As far as we know, Deku can't just give All Might his powers back, so all he can do is live up to the expectations that were set up for him.
@@chinyereugwu9431 except allmight already tells izuku that he would lose his powers eventually anyway, even if he didn't give izuku ofa...that is the entire reason why he joined UA, to find a successor before his time with ofa runs out...and izuku did feel guilt...he literally tried to give away ofa twice...once during the sports festival and again when mirio lost his quirk...the difference with bakugou is that bakugou didn't know about allmight's situation...so he thought his retirement was entirely his fault
At this part in the manga they released the 2nd character popularity poll results (taken from Japan's Shonen Jump voter base). Funnily enough the English episode of season 4 that came out this past weekend was the part where the 3rd poll results were released. 1st Katsuki Bakugo - 3,020 votes 2nd Izuku Midoriya - 2,217 votes 3rd Shoto Todoroki - 1,795 votes 4th Shota Aizawa - 943 votes 5th Eijiro Kirishima - 722 votes 6th All Might - 521 votes 7th Kyoka Jiro - 46 votes 8th Tenya Iida - 331 votes 9th Tsuyu Asui - 309 votes 10th Ochaco Uraraka - 292 votes 11th Denki Kaminari 12th Mashirao Ojiro 13th Momo Yaoyorozu 14th Hitoshi Shinso 15th Fumikage Tokoyami
I think that both the sub and dub for MHA are both really good. I prefer subs like most anime just because it is more impactful performances for me. That being said, it's not just about the voice acting. They sometimes almost completely change sentences and wording so that the animations mouth movements have a more convincing timing.
bakugo/deku/all might are my fave character relationships in this show (besides class 1a's entire dynamic) so this ep was a definite fave for me, also bakugo's voice cracks a+
the dub is amazing, i actually prefer all mights voice in the dub. But the fights and emotional parts are even better in the sub imo. Everyone should just watch what they prefer, both great.
Because bakugo is so prideful, he takes being helped as someone showing pity towards him and belittling him to something they have to take care of. To him, succeeding isn't success unless you are strong enough to do it yourself. So all this time Midoriya who was "powerless" constantly aided bakugo even when he didnt need it and even when bakugo tried to push him away because of it, he never left. So bakugo felt like midoriya never recognizes him but rather thinks bakugo is weak and needs his help and care. Bakugo felt like all that time midoriya was underestimating him because he knew he was going to be better than him.
Bakugo is by far the BEST character in the show! (Im not counting in ALL MIGHT because lets be honest, He is the heart of the story so it wouldn't be fair). Young Bakugo, the most complex, interesting and all around likeable character of them all! I just cant forget how much personality he got from his mom, warms your heart doesnt it? :_) I still think that in the end Midorya and Bakugo will share One for All as they are the two sides of the same coin. Like All Might and Endevor. They complete eachother.
Has anyone else noticed how much more jacked Bakugo is? He's also got like at least 3 inches on Deku too. Maybe if Deku didn't do all those spins when he went to 8% he could have won, but in terms of style points Deku won by a mile I'm surprised you guys dislike Bakugo as much as you do, when he cried this episode it totally changed my outlook on him, and in the post-credits when he gave Deku advice it shows that All Might's words really changed him
I will say this. I am a hardcore pro subs watcher. A very hardcore one. After i saw this ep in subs i thought to myself "boy. They have their work cut out for them." And despite that the dub bois delivered hard. They outfukindid themselves. I wont say its better but i will say this. I dont care which version i would watch of this episode. I would be 100% equally entertained. And i could never measure one of these performances above the other. Never.
I strongly disagree it just seems that way because when a mean character eventually does a nice thing or feels bad everyone wants to scream character development
@@geraldjames7719" it's so easy the he wasn't that bad after all trope" I strongly disagree...one of the best things about horikoshi's writing is that he redeems characters without changing their past mistakes...he just makes sure that their actions are understandable, not justified...Bakugou bullies izuku because he was jealous of his unyielding spirit??? yeah I can see why he would bully him...doesn't change the fact he was wrong to do it...endeavour neglecting his family to turn shoto into a war machine because of his beef with allmight...again understandable...but not justified...you also need to account for the severity of their mistakes...for bakugou who was just a bully, redemption is a lot easier than say endeavour, who abused his family...people are alot more likely to forgive bakugou for bullying especially since he has improved and is very young as opposed to endeavour who is a middle aged wife beater...I guess a lot of it also comes down to personal experience, since getting bullied is more common than domestic abuse or victim of murder...so I guess people who were bullied and weren't able to resolve their issues would have a hard time acknowledging bakugou's development, despite the fact this guy in season 4 literally tells a kid not to look down on other and in season 5 (spoilers) tells his team to save him if he is in trouble...i'm pretty sure , no one in their right state of mind can deny that bakugou just improves as a character overtime
I really love this anime but God I hope it's just this comment section that is this toxic not the hole fandom all I've seen is people trying to shit on one other why not just enjoy the show.
I know, eh? So many people shitting on each other for liking Bakugou, for not liking Bakugou, for shipping people, for not shipping people, for liking a series or not liking a voice actor, etc etc etc... While it does give off that impression, what he means by that is that Deku, while having nothing, attached himself to someone who had everything. All Might was his role model, but Bakugo was the strongest person he actually knew and he wanted to know how to be strong.
Pdxmorte congrats you’re a moron
It's kinda like All Might was his Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bakugo was the best guy on his gym.
He also used that moment both as a distraction to not make it obvious he was talking to Kirishima but to provide laughter for the class (Who just got their spirits broken by Aizawa) through making Kaminari go into his dumb phase
The best characters tend to be characters with conflict and contradiction and everything about who Bakugo is and what he is capable of has always been at odds, it took a lot of people a long time to get it but he's always been great from about halfway through season 1 onwards.

You're stupid? The best fight is Todoroki vs Midoriya.

Zander Gamer they constantly bring up how much faster, stronger, and smarter not only Bakugo but also Class 1-A has become in the show.

Bakugo says "I cannot think"

the problem with dubs, even if they "fit" they are not really what the author wanted them to say.
With just that frase in the Dub Bakugo looks like a person that couldn't keep up and moved without thinking. While in the sub it makes him look like someone that always has a plan and his mind in the ground.
@@yiledute exactly. Weirdly enough even subtitles said "i cannot think" or something like that

Not that it justifies his bullying though .
@@ANabih-uo3zy truee tho. He had such a flashy/powerful quirk as a kid too. Kinda like the kids we see later on in the remedial exams. hahaha
In the subbed version bakugo sounded like a squirrel XD!!!
Maybe if Deku didn't do all those spins when he went to 8% he could have won, but in terms of style points Deku won by a mile
I'm surprised you guys dislike Bakugo as much as you do, when he cried this episode it totally changed my outlook on him, and in the post-credits when he gave Deku advice it shows that All Might's words really changed him
I will say this. Never.
“He’s only using 8% right now” “I didn’t know he had the ability to feel guilt”
Y’all have no idea what’s comin in Season 4. Y’all are gonna FREAK
3:40 was that a Griffy reference 😂
i can physically hear vegeta screaming abt power everytime i watch this episode no cap
What's this?
A double drop??!
HELL YEHH!! 👌👌
"fucking snitchbot-9000'"
Bakugou arguably has the best development in the series.
I strongly disagree it just seems that way because when a mean character eventually does a nice thing or feels bad everyone wants to scream character development
@@geraldjames7719 This is character development
@@jarvisfowlkes3200 I know. I just don't like it because it's so easy the he wasn't that bad after all trope
@@geraldjames7719 that is literally what character development is
@@geraldjames7719" it's so easy the he wasn't that bad after all trope"
I strongly disagree...one of the best things about horikoshi's writing is that he redeems characters without changing their past mistakes...he just makes sure that their actions are understandable, not justified...Bakugou bullies izuku because he was jealous of his unyielding spirit??? yeah I can see why he would bully him...doesn't change the fact he was wrong to do it...endeavour neglecting his family to turn shoto into a war machine because of his beef with allmight...again understandable...but not justified...you also need to account for the severity of their mistakes...for bakugou who was just a bully, redemption is a lot easier than say endeavour, who abused his family...people are alot more likely to forgive bakugou for bullying especially since he has improved and is very young as opposed to endeavour who is a middle aged wife beater...I guess a lot of it also comes down to personal experience, since getting bullied is more common than domestic abuse or victim of murder...so I guess people who were bullied and weren't able to resolve their issues would have a hard time acknowledging bakugou's development, despite the fact this guy in season 4 literally tells a kid not to look down on other and in season 5 (spoilers) tells his team to save him if he is in trouble...i'm pretty sure , no one in their right state of mind can deny that bakugou just improves as a character overtime
The building and the emotions injected into this fight made this one of the best fights in the series.
1:08 Why is everyone looking at me like that? XD
Thank you for the double drop
I really love this anime but God I hope it's just this comment section that is this toxic not the hole fandom all I've seen is people trying to shit on one other why not just enjoy the show.
I know, eh? So many people shitting on each other for liking Bakugou, for not liking Bakugou, for shipping people, for not shipping people, for liking a series or not liking a voice actor, etc etc etc... I’m caught up with the manga now and am reading it week by week, and EVERY week there are big arguments about how horrible everybody is who disagrees that something is or isn’t horrible.
Just.... calm down, people. Let people enjoy things. Don’t feel the need to give a 50,000 word essay slamming someone for not liking the same thing you like.
Dang y'all were so into this episode it was brilliant! Especially Rana and (i apologise i don't watch enough of your stuff to know everyone's names *shy face* but) dude on far left! Also I'm here for the Aizawa compliments. He should definitely ponytail more often.
This is the best fight in mha, in anime that is.
Funny how the upcoming second half of season 4 isnt even about action that much, but still contains one of the other best fights in the whole series
Deku vs GC
Endeavor vs HE
Shiggy vs MLA
Oh it gets better
@@revelstatus2346 Yep! The first one is coming soon enough and should be greatness if they (Bones) put their all into it...and the other two are why waiting for season 5 is gonna be tough as hell!!

I seriously can't wait till you guys get on season 4 I love your reactions and I keep re-watching them
Bakugo is In my top 3 fav characters in the show, together with kirishima and tenko (shigaraki for the uncultured)
His development is so good and his power is amazing
Of all characters, I am very happy for Bakugo growing better as a character, I think many of us fans needed this episode, Rana included.
