Row positioning: - Ears are sewed on from row 4-7 (4 rows) - Snout is sewed on from row 12-20 (9 rows) - Arms are sewed on between the 2nd and 3rd rows of the body (not including row that is used to attach the head) - Legs are sewed on between rows 24-25 of the body (not including the row that is used to attach the head) - Eyebrows are sewed on row 8, around 8 stitches apart. They are two stitches long and one stitch tall. - Eyes are sewed on rows 11-13 (3 rows) - Under eye line is sewed on row 14, next to the snout and under the eye - The nose is sewed on row 1(ish) of the snout - The mouth is sewed between rows 5-6 on the underside of the snout, and is around 8 stitches wide (counting along row 6).
I dont know if anyone else has this problem or just me. I have only made one other stuffed animal. I have difficulty positioning the parts on the head so, for me, it would be helpful to have instructions saying, place the ears at row _____, place the snout at row _______. What I have done is pin them on first before sewing but still not sure on ears. But instructions for making the parts were very clear! Thank you.
Hi Florence, I have put a pinned comment with all the information I have of where to place the facial features and the limbs. I hope this is helpful. Let me know if you have anymore questions
I'm working on a pattern for Piglet at the moment, amongst other ones. I hope to be able to get it out soonish! I'm really glad you liked Winnie and the video. Thank you for your support!
I think that this is adorable and you are an excellent teacher! The only suggestion I might make is that you specify exactly at what row to attach the arms and legs otherwise the sweater might not fit right with the arms. I can’t wait to make this for my new grand baby with a matching blanket. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your feedback! It's a very good point, and I'll make sure to include it in future patterns where the limb placement is important. I hope your new grand baby loves it and that you enjoy making it :)
Wonderful tutorial but gets confusing when she says repeat for a total of two times--does that mean 2 including the one you just did, or an additional two? I had to do a stitch count to decide which.
@@quinkydinkcreates Thank you! Am loving making this. The color was hard to find but I got as close as I could. I know my great granddaughter is going tolove it!
Thank you so much for your comment! I haven't posted them yet but I'm currently working on a Piglet pattern. I hope people will like it when it's out :)
@@quinkydinkcreates okay that’s fine! I was just wondering because I can’t find any simple tutorials and the Winnie the Pooh one was quite simple! But it’s okay no worries! Xx
After giving such clear instructions throughout, I feel like you abandoned us when it comes to the facial features--whch are so important! Your bear can look really wonky if the features are not in proper alignment. After doing all the other work, it's a bit frustrating.
My apologies for this, it was my first tutorial and it can be hard to explain everything that needs to be done in a clear way. Thank you for your comment
It depends how comfortable you feel with magic circles, working in the round, and invisible decreases. If you feel okay with those then I would say to give it a go! I've linked two tutorials in my description (one for how to make a magic circle and one on how to make an invisible decrease) if you want to check those out :)
I completely understand hahaha. He's relatively small with DK. I imagine chunky would be a lot more huggable. But probably quite big, so pros and cons :/
Yes, the shirt collar is quite small, but you can still fit the head through. I wouldn't say it's a shirt that you can take on and off frequently though. Hope that's helpful!

Thank You! Sorry to be such a bother. My vsual spatial sense is not good but I wanted so much to make this for my great granddaughter! Thanks again.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that. I can try and make a pinned comment with the row information for each sew on item if that would help

Do you have patterns for the rest of Winnie the Pooh characters. I made Winnie, and it turned out great. I like your video. It was very easy to follow

Love your tutorial ❤️ of Winnie the pooh.. just wondering if you've done all the other pooh friends.. 😊 thank you..
Thank you so much for your comment! I haven't posted them yet but I'm currently working on a Piglet pattern. I hope people will like it when it's out :)
hello! should I use a 5ply milk cotton yarn for this or 8ply?
Hi! 8 ply should be the right thickness for the same size as mine. 5ply would make it a lot smaller, but if that's what you want then go for it :)
Could you make an eeyore?? Xx
I have no current plans to make an eeyore but I'll add it to the list of tutorials for the future :)

Beautiful! What size was this when it was finished?
Hi! It ends up being around 20cm tall when in a sitting position :)
thank you very much for this

Is there a written pattern available?
Hi! There's not one at the moment but if there's interest I can release one in the future :)
I want to use chunky yarn but I don’t want my stuffie that huge 😅

Your shirt collar is smaller size than the hand can squeeze in, that it true
