Hi B G. I see you like big band leader Glenn Miller. I care for my grandmother, Louise Tobin Hucko. She sang with Benny Goodman a many other greats back in those days. Check her out on TH-cam or you can Google her name: Louise Tobin Hucko. She is a healthy 102 years old as of 11/11/20. I have been asking myself, why is she still here? All 10 of her siblings are gone. All but a few friends still come to visit. She still gets many calls from all over the world. Her last gig was in her early 80s. She and her husband, Jazz clarinetist, Michael Hucko, performed for Princess Diana & Prince Charles just before that. You might enjoy her songs too🎤
I am always praying that when her time comes, the good lord takes her when she is sleeping. She is strong minded, but her little body is weakening more each day. I don't understand Gods purpose for us at such an age where you need to have help to survive. I tell her she is here to see the next Presidential election...lol.

@@auntiekk2753 @Auntie KK thank you for sharing this about your beloved grandmother! She sounds like an incredible person, who lives an incredible life! Melissa here - my grandmother is in the same boat, having outlived her husband and 7 of her 9 siblings, not to mention many friends who passed on before her. I think she would LOVE to move on, and yet she's really quite healthy and active!
Sometimes I think maybe they're still here for US, to teach us something? Or provide us opportunities to show more love! Swedenborg had some ideas about why we die when we do, which we talk about in this short clip: th-cam.com/video/PeWLcooxRGg/w-d-xo.html and in the episode "Does My Life Matter?" (I have it cued to this part of the episode, but the whole thing is worth a watch!). th-cam.com/video/33FfPQsf_zU/w-d-xo.html
Here is what Swedenborg wrote about why we die when we do:
"There are four reasons why people die as children, adolescents, adults, or old men and women:
      1. on account of their use to people when in the world;
      2. on account of their use to spirits and angels when in the world, because a person is with spirits as to his or her inward elements and is there with them as long as he or she is in the world;
      3. on account of the use to themselves in the world, either so that they may be regenerated, or so that they may be let into their own evils lest they lie as it were asleep and later erupt, which would result in the person’s eternal ruin;
      4. thus on account of the subsequent usefulness in the other life, after death and to eternity . . ."(Spiritual Experiences §5003)
I hope that's useful to you! And I hope you and your grandmother are doing well!

My father died in 2001 before my 15th birthday. I had my first dream with him on my bday, his funeral was the very next day. He was comforting me, letting me know everything will be ok. I have communicated with my dad in my dreams since then. I haven’t had any dreams with him lately but I believe this is his soul reaching out and it brings me much peace❤️ now, my mother is battling cancer and i am so afraid to lose her. I keep in mind that God didn't call everyone in the spirit in this life. So I'm hoping that at some point that EVERYONE will get that chance at some point. @@offTheLeftEye hey I want to tell you about an experience that I interview with an near-death experience Survivor was very unique and very different. I met the Spanish woman in a Tacoma Fred Meyers and Tacoma Washington. I somehow brought up about near death experiences with her I don't know why but I did. She looked back and forth she didn't want people to listen to what she was saying to me. Very conservative woman and she says in a exasperated voice, I have not told this to my relatives or my friends or anybody but when I was in the operating room, I saw this nurse in the operating room. I asked her to come over. She said to her, I am so worried about my husband and my children do you know anything about them or where are they at? Obviously a regular everyday nurse would not know that information. In this case she said, the nurse said your husband and your children are fine. Your husband is cooking dinner in the kitchen and your kids are playing in the living room. So the Spanish woman looked me in the face with exasperation and she said, how did she know that! And I asked her did her lips move when she was communicating this information to you. And she said no! They were not moving. I told her that our events on this Earthly plane are constantly monitored and recorded in the afterlife. Jesus said this thing that blew me away and she said she was wearing a dress. And she was also wearing a white hat on top of her head with a large Red Cross! And I thought to myself holy crap! Here we are 2021 and recently had surgery and she's talking about a nurse wearing a nurse's uniform from the early 1900s. What do you make of this?

He passed away June 27th..ten days later...but before he died....all his children were there...brothers and sisters...him and I had our last conversation on June17th....as they took the tube out of his throat...his eyes opened and he became alert and he started looking around the hospital room. I was on the right side of his bed... holding his hand. He look towards the left ...then everyone said....he's looking for you Janice. Once he saw me? @@janewanjiruk7752 I hear you! Our approach is different, and you have to decide if it resonates as true for you, or not! Here's a little background on what we share, and why we share it! I hope it is helpful!
On this channel we share information written down by Swedish scientist turned theologian, Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772), which he learned through 27 years of direct experiences of seeing into the afterlife. Everyone is free to decide whether to believe that information or not. He was a devout reader of the Bible, and believed his works were showing the rest of us what he learned to be the inner meanings contained in scripture!
The Bible tells us it contains an inner meaning, and here are some quotes that indicate this: “All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them.” -Matthew 13:34
“These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.” -John 16:25
“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now” (John 16:12).
“If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?” (John 3:12).
“To you it’s been given to know the mysteries of God’s kingdom, but to the rest, in parables, so that seeing, they would not see, and hearing, they would not hear” (Luke 8:10)
“Our competence is from God, who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of letter but of spirit; for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.” (2 Corinthians 3:5-6)
“Give ear, my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old” (Psalm 78:1-2).
If you would like to learn more about how Swedenborg read and understood the Bible (what it meant to him) check out our episode, "What the Bible Is," th-cam.com/video/v0mE8IDLynE/w-d-xo.html , or this short clip, "It Is Damaging To Take The Bible Literally," th-cam.com/video/eXUXZ8BigDk/w-d-xo.html

@Paul Suchey I think Matthew 25:31-46 is a wonderful parable for bringing clarity to this. By choosing to either help the neighbor, or to ignore the needs of our neighbors, we are choosing throughout our whole lives whether we want to be connected to God and heaven, or not. Because God IS love of the whole human race, and heaven is the reception of that. So, after death, the inner choice of our heart is revealed, as expressed through our deeds and motivations throughout our whole life on earth. God wants to bring everyone into heaven. God loves every single person, and like any loving parent, could never ever choose to reject a beloved child or send that child away. But heaven is a state of selfless neighborly love, and so we are the ones who choose whether to accept the invitation to that state of being, or not. The story of the prodigal son is another great parable about this (Luke 15:11-32). In that story, it is the son who chose to leave, and then the son who later chose to come back to his father. The father had always wanted his son to come home and be with him. Jesus, and the Bible, use parable to tell us about how things are in life and the afterlife.

I am 58yrs old. At age 16 I took an overdose of sleeping pills. I remember as if it was yesterday, being very high in what seemed to be the air, looking down at a sheet covered body in a basement morgue; that body was me. I saw Two nurses, one a matron, wearing the larger white triangle type hat, and a younger nurse with her. I then felt a presence next to me, a warm loving presence, yet I could not actually see anyone. Although no words were spoken, I heard the words , "it's not your time yet", then felt a kiss on my cheek. Suddenly I rose up, the sheet falling off my face to my chest, both nurses who I'm sure wheeled me into that room, went pale white, mouths agape..matron a few seconds later asked what my name was, i said Julie, (my name isn't Julie btw lol)... I grabbed the sheet, jumped off a steel gurnie and said " I'm going home" and walked out....I had no home, I was homeless. I knew when I left there (hospital), that I didn't really want to die, I had something to do, but had no idea what it was. I told people about my experience, kids on the sts taking drugs, as a way to stop them from taking them and or taking so many. That presence I called 'someone', but inside I knew who it was. Everywhere I went from that day, jehovah witnesses, Morman's, Christians would all stop me, ask if they could help etc...I'd run the other way lol....but they kept coming, as if chasing me. I got a job, not the best to have, but it put a roof over my head, and I started getting young girls, runaways off the sts, hear their story and would get them to go home where they were safer, by telling them my story and why I could not go home. I married, had children and was born again, age 30. Age 33, I was again taking in kids off the sts, divorced and raising five kids....I've had nearly 200 kids..ohh Abraham!..and still I'm taking little children under my wing...just received two more down the crt 2weeks ago... I am never childless, yet I have no grandchildren as yet. I was also given a spiritual gift of 'foresight' .. you will know what I'm saying. This is a short version of my testimony with Jesus, his blessings and unconditional love.

I didn’t believe in any of this stuff until my deceased uncle (one of my best friends in life) came to visit me in a dream...he told me a lot of stuff covered in this video. He also looked younger than in life. We were in a sort of “waiting room” with big windows overlooking a panoramic view of a beautiful outdoor setting. My deceased mom was sitting in the room with us, not saying anything, but smiling and full of bliss, looking happier than I have ever seen her in life. I was able to ask him questions and he patiently answered them all. One question I had was: “is there such thing as hell?” And he said no. I jokingly asked him about my dead musical idols (Jimi Hendrix, etc) and he told me that they were there too, but that they weren’t playing the “rock star role” where they were...
It was such a strange dream, don’t know if it was real, but it certainly felt like it.

      Sorry, but hell IS absolutely real. God is not a liar. He addresses the reality of hell many times, for example;
"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
      (Revelation 21:8 NIV)
What is 'fiery lake of burning sulfur' mean? It means, 'hell'.
It's ALSO the place where those who don't belong to Christ go, as well as satan, his fallen angels, 'death' and 'hades', (the temporary waiting/holding pond for those who are dead, or who die before the day of judgement).
      Jesus said,
"“There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’ “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’ “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’ “ ‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ ”
      (Luke 16:19‭-‬31 NIV)
Jesus is not a liar, as God cannot lie. He's WARNING us of what's to come for those who choose self, or worldly ways, over God's ways, which means; surrendering ourselves to serve God.
The apostle John was given a 'Revelation' to experience AND to write the experience down as a forecoming WARNING to those who reject God.
"Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire."
      (Revelation 20:11‭-‬15 NIV)
Anything that is written, or explained that is contrary to the Word of God, is NOT of God and is therefore FALSE, (a LIE) and is designed to cause CONFUSION from satan and those who belong to him.
DON'T FALL FOR THE LIES OF SATAN!!!
This video is FALSE! There's only ONE WAY to heaven and THAT is through Jesus Christ ONLY! There's NO OTHER WAY! Satan will try to trick us by pretending to be good, when he is NOT.
"For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve."
      (2 Corinthians 11:13‭-‬15 NIV)

@@glenturney4750 I respect your beliefs, but I don’t agree that a God of pure love could be described as an all loving benevolent God, if he created a person with the knowledge that their souls were already condemned to burn in such a place. I prefer to think of God as a creator, not a destroyer.
Keep in mind that Revelations was an account of a dream someone had. I too had a dream, so why was his dream taken seriously over anyone else’s dream? Is it just because it was included in the Bible? If that’s the test, then why were books removed from the Bible during various epochs, by random popes, etc? Which version of the Bible are we even talking about, because different versions of the Bible are worded differently, not to mention interpreted differently. Which part of the Bible do we interpret literally, and which is meant as a metaphor or parable? I can find plenty of biblical scholars with a simple search that can argue that the Bible doesn’t actually preach the gospel of hell’s existence

@@nomandad2000 I sure agree with you that a loving God wouldn't create a hell and send people there! Swedenborg learned that the Bible is a book of divine allegory and parable. It is not supposed to be taken literally. That causes all sorts of problems, as we discuss in our episode "It Is Damaging to Take the Bible Literally" th-cam.com/video/g2HMeLVgRI4/w-d-xo.html You might find it interesting to delve into our episodes about the deeper meanings in the book of Revelation!
Regarding hell, Swedenborg witnessed that there is such a thing, but it is a place created by human hatred rather than by God. Hell is a state of mind in which a person refuses to let go of hatred, vengefulness, greed, hostility, self-centeredness, etc. God is constantly working to encourage people to let go of those things and let kindness and compassion to flow in, but also, God will not force people to be good. We must be left in freedom to choose, because goodness and love are not real unless they are freely chosen. Even in hell, God is constantly working to lead people in a better direction, but it can only go at the rate of each person's willingness. If you are interested in a very different take on what hell is, check out our episode "What Is Hell Really Like?" and see if any of that makes sense to you! th-cam.com/video/gXCO1P6r-Kw/w-d-xo.html

This video doesn't tell the truth!
This is my best friend's story.
      Precious Memories- By Sonya Lakey
We had no idea that the evening of September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete. We laughed together, played games, sang, and enjoyed listening as our oldest son played the piano for us. I packed a lunch for him (which he usually did for himself) for the church hike he was going on the following day.
My mom, who was visiting from out of state, and I got up early with him on Saturday morning to hug him and see him off. He hugged me and smiled, never pulling away or rushing me. He got in the car, waved, said he'd see me later and he loved me. It was hard to watch my "new driver" heading out on his own.
As he pulled out of the gate, I turned to my mom and said, "It's just so hard letting go." Little did I know how much "letting go" I was really doing. That was the last time I saw our 16 year old son. He did not make it home that night.
That afternoon, a friend had tried to contact us, leaving a message on the phone to call back due to an emergency, but we really had no clue what was going on. And though we tried several times to return the call, we were not able to make a connection. As I helped prepare supper, an overwhelming feeling of deep concern for Ethan and dread filled my heart, and I quietly blinked back tears. I looked out the window, half expecting to see a police officer pulling in, but no.
However, within minutes, a police car DID pull in our driveway. In my heart, I feared the worst, but I went outside to speak with him. He confirmed who I and my husband (who followed me out) were, then hesitantly told us our son had fallen off a bluff and had succumbed to his injuries. Our hearts were crushed.... Still are.
Yet, in all of our brokenness, deep, continual grief and loneliness, we have such a blessed Hope and assurance that we will see our dear son again. You see, even as a young boy, Ethan realized some very important truths from God's Word.
He had sinned against a righteous, holy and just God. The Bible says:
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” (Romans 3:23)
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12)
He understood that his sin separated him from God, and he deserved to spend eternity in Hell.
“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:31)
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
He understood he could not pay the price for his sins.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Ethan realized that, 'though he could not pay the price for his sins, the price had already been paid in full by the blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus lived a perfectly sinless life. He had no fault of His own. But Jesus was crucified for our sins, and He took on Himself the sins of every person in the whole world. He was beaten, spit on, whipped, mocked, scourged, and nailed to the Cross of Calvary. He shed every drop of His righteous blood - because that was the only thing that could satisfy the just demands of a righteous God - so we could be made righteous in Him. He suffered all of that so Ethan - and you and I - would not have to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire, but so we could spend eternity in Heaven with HIM! THAT is a great LOVE.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
Jesus did not stay on the cross, nor did He stay in the tomb where His body was buried. Three days later, Jesus arose triumphant over sin and death and the grave. Ethan believed this with his whole heart, asked Jesus to forgive his sins, and he put his faith in Jesus Christ ALONE to save him from sin and eternal death and to take him to Heaven someday.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28)
Because of this great salvation, Ethan lived his life serving Jesus and others. He worked hard to spread this Good News to the world. We know he is alive in Heaven with Jesus today, and we know we will see him again soon, not because he was a great kid, but because of his faith in the great Saviour!
What about you? What if you had fallen to your death that day? Would your family, though grieving, be able to rejoice in the knowledge that they would see you again in Heaven, or would you be burning in Hell today?
The Word of God is very clear that there is only One Way to Heaven. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
Have YOU trusted Jesus as YOUR Saviour? Have you repented of your sins? Have you asked Jesus to forgive you so you can go to Heaven & not have to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire? Tomorrow may be too late. As Ethan pulled out of sight that morning, we had no idea we would never see him again in this life. None of us have the promise of tomorrow! Repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus alone - today!
“(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)” (2 Corinthians 6:2)
"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." James 4:14

Hayley, I'm so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. And while I can't imagine the pain you must feel, I can at least offer some of the fundamentals Swedenborg observed: love transcends time and space -- you and your husband will reunite in the afterlife because of the love you share. The Lord desires that each of us live into eternity with our true loves, growing closer in partnership with them and with the Lord. Your husband is okay, and his love for you will not go away.

You are more than likely aware of this information on Emanuel Swedenborg. After a youth spent studying everything from astronomy and mechanical engineering to anatomy, his deep faith led him into direct contact with the spiritual world.Swedenborg had a prolific career as an inventor and scientist. In 1741, at 53, he entered into a spiritual phase in which he began to experience dreams and visions plus Mysticism? 🤔 Mystical experiences are experiences where the recipient feels a sense of 'union' with the Divine. • Mysticism involves the spiritual recognition of truths beyond normal. understanding. What is the caution for Christians towards anyone that claims revelations from God beyond what Scripture might contain? 1 John 4:1 ESV Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 Corinthians 11:14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Point! You question everything men/ women do in the name of Christ Jesus and use the scriptures as the sole authority weather right or wrong!😎

@Tony T, welcome to our channel! I'm glad you had a chance to watch one of our videos on the afterlife. I'm glad you love and honor the Bible. We do, too! Jesus indicated that details about the afterlife could not be plainly told at the time he was on earth:
“All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them.”
      -Matthew 13:34
“These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.”
      -John 16:25
“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now” (John 16:12).
“If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?” (John 3:12).
We get this information from the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772) who called himself a "servant of the Lord Jesus Christ". After an intense period of self-examination, repentance, prayer, and Bible study, he had a powerful vision of Christ, who opened up Swedenborg's spiritual sight so that he could learn about the afterlife and the deeper meanings in Scripture, because the time had finally come. We respect that you and everyone must decide for themselves whether to believe that or not, but we do believe it, and that's why we want to share this information.

@@melcomepay6668 I think I get what you're saying...my friend's father had died for 5 minutes when he came back he said that where he was he could see clearly. FFWD>>> before his final passing he was seeing things in the spirit realm, like native Americans and people going in and out of the light. While he was passing away he was talking to someone and then he said Elohim right before he finally passed away. From the first time he passed and came back he didn't tell all of what he saw, he just said his vision was clearer than what it was.
I can't believe someone would tell all of what they know because their experience is going to be different and they're not supposed to reveal too much. That's why I'm kinda doubtful about this explanation of what happens. Before my great grandma passed she reached up and called out two of her sisters names and 2 weeks later one after the other, they passed away as well and neither were sick or dying. You hear different stories of people dying and coming back to give either a horrific story of hell or a beautif ul story of heaven and I think that's for religious propaganda because they profit off of a book or movie rights to keep people dumb down. I'm not saying there is no creator, I just don't believe all of the man made religious hype.

@@englishguy215 there is a saying that if you look at your past and feel shame, it's because you have grown since then. I too have done so many things I have felt ashamed of but we also are blessed with the ability to see meaning in our situations, to find the true reasons why we did those things which are usually due to a wound we can then give love to the part of yourself that was underneath that action such as that insecure child who bullied another, the teenager that didn't know how to properly connect so became promiscuous, the adult that didn't know how to deal with their life so turned to drugs.
I believe the true God is unconditionally loving, the fact that the Bible has contradictions to this i feel comes more from the Human race not feeling as though they deserve that kind of love.. I feel deep inside that it's important for us to learn to truly forgive yourself Independantly and learn to love yourself Independantly so that we may align with God.
For God to be oneness then God would have to love itself Completely.
There is a couple great Teachers that I have listened to over the years that have helped me with this, one is Tara Brach another is Ram Dass and the last which gives alot of advice is Teal Swan.
Trust the process Brother, of shedding all that isn't truely You, your core is not evil and even the densest mass can be dissolved over time with enough inner work, patience and love.

I just found you guys and Swedenborg and all I can say is I knew it! I've been looking for answers for years. I will read everything I possibly can and watch all of your videos. Thank you a MILLION times for offering them at no cost. I take care of my 88 year old grandmother and I home school my 11 year old son. I don't work a job for which I earn money and can't afford much. I study and learn all I can on the computer to be self educated. I don't have a college education, however, I can probably give a college graduate or two a run for their money. LOL! I am Christian believer, however, my beliefs are not what most believe. I do currently study A Course In Miracles along with practicing unconditional love for everyone who enters into my life and even those who I feel led to help by perhaps entering into theirs....I feel as if I have found a huge piece to a puzzle I have been working since a child. I've always had more questions than anyone at church could answer as a child and teenager. Then in 2001 with me in my early 20's, a newlywed with a 2 year old daughter, my Mother was brutally murdered by her husband. I had 2 younger sisters by my Mother who were 8 & 9 to raise at that point. 2 years later my Maternal Grandfather who raised me died of a broken heart literally. His heart stopped working. 3 years later in 2006 my sister Emily (the 9 year old ) died in a car wreck 8 days after her 16th birthday. I also had 2 siblings by my Dad a brother & sister, and it was then in 2009 one of my other sisters Jessica (from my Dad) died at 23 with two separate entities of cancer in her precious body. Married with two babies, diagnosed in Sept. and by Jan. 2nd of 2009 she was just gone.... So yes I had many many questions....I Know and have always known that I will see them again one day. This led me to the Near death videos and the stories of thousands which I've read. Dr. Eben Alexander actually was a Dr. here in the town I live in AT the hospital we ALL were born in. I felt that was a sign for me. Maybe, I'll find out one day. I can't express the relief & joy I have in finding you! I love God & I can't wait to see all of my loved ones and further my education of Loving people & helping others. May God Bless You All!!!

Wonderful information on which many unanswered questions and doubts are put to rest .So who was meant to be our soulmates in this physical body would be met in our spiritual body on earth also as spirits is it .?
How can one love and be so aligned to another soul when they are not physically together here.
We feel their presence ,and know that they belonged sometime in our past life to know their true nature Are there any explanations when their emotions of wanting to be with each belong to the spirit world as natural as it seems .? .Knowing them as if they have lived together
Mind vs mind ,heart vs heart .
Yet far apart and no contact physically.

Swedenborg learned that it is really important to start out on the physical level, because it acts as a foundation for our eternal identity, as well as acting as a foundation for all of creation, including the spiritual parts of creation. Here are a couple of short clips in which we discuss that:

We were created perfect and completely spiritual minded but, Adam and Eve disobeyed God, and when they did, it affected the bloodline of all mankind. However, through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we were made right again. Human beings always have a spirit and a soul but, after the fall, the spirit of mankind died and we only operated through our soul. The soul is the mind, will and emotions. The spirit is part of us that communes with God. We cannot commune with God through our soul alone. This is why Jesus came. We become spiritually minded again and able to communicate with God when we believe on Jesus Christ and receive His blood sacrifice for us. The things spoken in this video are not necessarily untrue. One downside is not explaining how we come to that spiritual awakening. Most likely, it's due to unbelief on their part since Jesus Christ wasn't mentioned once. It's only through Jesus Christ that we can awaken our spirit. The other downside is that getting to Heaven actually has nothing to do with being good bad. Some good people go to Heaven and some bad people go to hell but, there are also some good people who go to hell and some bad people who go to Heaven. It's not based on that. It's based upon whether or not a person receives the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ or not. The Bible makes it clear: If you believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and confess him as Lord, you will be saved. That is a paraphrase but, there are many verses about it and in different forms.

Blessings and Namaste to my dear people at Off The Left Eye, thank you for this video. I no longer have fear of death. And I'm 32 yrs old, got a lot of life left. This is why my faith in Christianity has been discouraging, difficult, and has added MORE fear and anxiety to me personally. We humans are God's creation, there should be no condemnation. Here is a quote from True Christianity 56.
"God cannot turn away from us or even look at us with a frown. To do any such thing would be against his essence, and what is against his essence is against himself."
You are right that God continues to give us freedom, and longs for our happiness above all. Perhaps you know that the most frequent command in the bible is "do not fear." God wants you to feel safe in his love! Take care, Cam.

@@offTheLeftEye So, God doesn't frown upon homosexuals? I ask because so often I see so many heated arguments between pastors on a college campus and people who maybe don't believe in or question God. The pastors hold up the big signs that say Homosexuals REPENT and it's just madness. LBGTQ+ people are born the way they are. They shouldn't be condemned or judged

    • @offTheLeftEye
      @offTheLeftEye  2 ปีที่แล้ว

God absolutely loves everyone, and wants them to be happy. He also asks us not to judge one another, and that keeps me honest.
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye." Matthew 7
Working on my own mistakes keeps me busy. God will take perfect care of other people, and I can treat them with respect in the meantime. Take care Cam.

@@ronniedrake8196 the Bible definitely says that! On this channel, we share the theological works of Swedish scientist Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772), a Bible scholar and devout Christian. Swedenborg began having visions of Jesus Christ and devoted the last almost thirty years of his life to recording what he learned in many volumes - one of the most incredible of his ideas is that the Bible is written in parable, something the Bible actually tells us many times!
      Here are a few examples:
‘Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you. Who among you will give a stone if his son asks him for bread? If then you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in the heavens give good things to those who ask him?” (Matthew 7:7-11)
“All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them.” -Matthew 13:34 “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.” -John 16:25 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now” (John 16:12). “If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?” (John 3:12).

I am so deeply sorry for your loss, Debra Jean. You must be in pain, having loved your dad like you did. I am glad to know, though, that you are in touch with him still! It is the truth, according to Emanuel Swedenborg, that our spirits never die. A spirit (a person) is defined by what she or he loves. And if we love the same things that others do, we are linked to these people forever! That means you will reunite in the spiritual world, when it's your time to enter the afterlife.
What I'm sharing now is based on the ideas recorded by eighteenth-century spiritual teacher Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772). Swedenborg was a brilliant and accomplished scientist who also had a strong background in the Christian faith. In his mid-50s, he went through an intense period of self-examination, repentance, prayer and Bible study, after which he began to see spiritual visions, and then had a powerful vision of Jesus Christ. Christ called him to a mission of learning about the afterlife and about the deeper meanings in Scripture, because the time had finally come that Jesus had predicted, when more information would be revealed. Using his scientific skills, Swedenborg meticuolously recorded what he witnessed and learned in the visions that happened daily for about 27 years. We want everyone to decide for themselves whether to believe this information from Swedenborg's books or not, but we find it to be healing information that makes sense out of life and the Bible, and so we want to share it with everyone who is interested. Religious leaders have falsely been teaching people, that going to Heaven was the norm! It never was! Jesus himself said, no one has ever gone there! Moses never taught this, in any of his writing! Nor did king David (who God favored) even he never went there! In fact, humans never went there...(until) Jesus offered Heaven to the first humans (ever)...his 11 disciples,...they are the first! Second, religious leaders also fail at teaching what scripture says about the Earth! Scripture says it will remain forever! Still, even Jesus said, the Resurrection has not happened yet! Yet people are saying otherwise! Did not God tell our first parents, that they will die and return to the ground? Yet, notice who said otherwise,...it was Satan who said, you surely will not die! Therefore, this video supports Satan! Moses spoke directly with God,...for 40 years,...he taught none of these teachings ! So did God forget to tell the real Jews, the real deal? Did God lie to our first parents? Think on these things.

@@mrg466 1 Corinthians 15 tells us that after the death of the physical body, we will be raised to spiritual life in a spiritual body. And there are other Bible passages speaking of an immediate afterlife, or resurrection, after death:
"Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." (Hebrews 9:27)
Jesus pointed out that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were alive right then, in the present: "But even Moses showed in the burning bush passage that the dead are raised, when he called the Lord ‘the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him” (Luke 20:37-38)
When Jesus was transfigured on the mountain, the spirits of Moses and Elijah appeared next to him, quite alive and awake. (Matthew 17)
The story that Jesus told about the rich man and Lazarus describes an immediate afterlife that people go into (Luke 16:19-31).
These two promises Jesus gave indicate a place in the very near future rather than a greatly distant future: "In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you" (John 14:2).
"Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise” (Luke 23:42-43).
Jesus indicates that what he will demonstrate (bodily death and then resurrection three days later) is something that now all humans can do, too. “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also" (John 14:19).
Paul wrote about the spiritual body that will be raised up, rather than the physical body: “So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body” (1 Corinthians 15:42-44).
Jesus said that Abraham “rejoiced to see my day,” thus saying that Abraham, who had died centuries before, was conscious of the coming of Jesus:
“Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.” Then the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.’ Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. Who do You make Yourself out to be?” Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.”

Yes, ghostsavengers -- We'll find out when we die. Though an NDE might be a real visit to the spiritual world, I wonder if the experience would be different when we are finished with our body once and for all.
This video is based on an experience given to Emanuel Swedenborg, for the sake of learning (and sharing) what it's like to die and wake up on the other side. Take what you like and leave the rest!

I had a NDE. It was amazingly beautiful. You do remain your individual soul BUT I realized that when you die, you do not bring one memory of your life. It’s like leaving the classroom. Your life is done and you are moving on....surrounded by total peace and love. And a deep new understanding.

Bella Bijou Exactly ..i left my body in 1982...hovered above it ,and felt myself being " pulled" up a tunnel which had a BEAUTIFUL white light light in it ..there is much more to my very real experience...but I can say I did NOT want to come back here to Earth..and I told them so.I believe it is THE most important thing that those of us who have experienced this should tell others. However, I have found, that it is almost impossible to get others to understand this properly. In my case it was not due to an accident/operation , as it is with so many people . Never, never , allow others to get you to Believe that it's all our imagination. It is not! We are not these bodies! We're just wearing a meat suit' !

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful insight from your experience, Bella! Yes, there is so much earthly memory that would be useless and even detrimental, holding us back, once we cross over. Swedenborg learned that what we keep is only those deeper things from earthly experience -- deeper bonds of love and deeper realizations and insights. My mom passed 8•23•17 while I was 8 months pregnant, only for my son to be born the following month on her birthday 9•23. Her passing was so unexpected and I'm still grieving her 2.5 yrs later. I will always miss her, she was my best friend.
I can't wait to see her and my Granny again...but I'm curious if while we are going through all of these phases and learning on the other side, are they still with us or accessible to us, or are we only reunited with them at first and then move on to all of this, not seeing them anymore if we end up in other places/groups ? I know no one really has this answer, but I can't imagine being reunited with your loved ones and then being separated permanently to go through these phases....what would be the point of reuniting then?

    • @offTheLeftEye
      @offTheLeftEye  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

LS, I'm so sorry for your loss, especially at such a vulnerable period of your life. It is so cool that your son was born on your mom's birthday! Seems she was with you still. Grief never really goes away, but it changes form and intensity over time. I'm glad you have faith for a reunion - you will certainly see each other again!
Time and space are so different in the next world - you are never truly separated from anyone the way you are here. Anytime you want to see them, you just think of them, and if they want to see you to the connection is instantaneous. It would be like living in different neighborhoods (although you may be in the same neighborhood, I don't know!) and traveling telepathically. Check out this episode, "How The Spiritual World Is Like The Internet," th-cam.com/video/OdV8rxVHT2o/w-d-xo.html for more on how this works according to Swedenborg!

@@offTheLeftEye Thank you. I appreciate your kind words. I wish more people understood what I went through, in this way. It was a vulnerable time for me, and I had to postpone my grieving until after he was born, so he wouldn't feel it and it affect him. So when he was born and I started grieving, post partum depression set in, of course.😔 She was "my person" and to have that suddenly taken from you without much notice, is absolutely devastating.
My husband lost his mom 4 yrs & 3 days prior to me losing mine, and I thought since he had been through it he would understand to show compassion & empathy, and remember how grief reveals itself...instead, for the most part, he lacks compassion & empathy, telling me not to be upset because she wouldn't want me to be..🤨 I know that. But losing your mother, while becoming one yourself- regardless if it's your 1st child or 7th, it was the worst heartbreak I've ever had.
I did most certainly feet her the day he was born. I could feel her presence very strongly and she knew they shared a birthday- just like she said they would, throughout my whole pregnancy, ironically.💞 The only difference was, she was supposed to be with me, by my side.🤱🏼
I will definitely check out the other video, thanks again.

@@laceyschanne Wow, yes, you were in a very vulnerable state. I completely understand! I (Karin) lost my oldest daughter in a car accident just a month before my fourth child was born. What a mixture of emotions! Sometimes I wondered a WHY I would have an infant at a time of having to deal with such grief. At other times I would realize that having an infant at that time gave me a necessary reason to get out of bed each day, instead of going into my room and never coming out. I can certainly understand postpartum depression! I hope you can come to recognize your mom's loving presence as you interact with your little son. Her love is strongly present in that relationship! I know how much you ache to have her physically present. I hope and pray that you can come to feel the more subtle ways that she is always spiritually present with you and your child. ❤

From some NDES I have watched, when our loved ones die, they can re-incarnate back to the family; blood-line. But that they won't retain the same gender; however, they carry with them some skills or talents they accumulated from their previous lives or lifetimes. Their tendencies to do something as an individual is like a tell-tale sign about who's who. We recently lost a family member and now looking forward to welcoming them back if they ever get to incarnate back to earth. At least it gives us hope 🙏 .

If you have cancer or a medical condition that is terminal I'm sure death is painful. Hospice makes sure the patient is pumped with all the legal narcotics. Most people linger for a week without food or fluids. They seem to eventually have decreased breathing and the vital organs start slowing down
I witnessed my husband and father go through the death process. I did notice there were some pain and
      seizures.
The fortunate ones are the people who just pass away in their sleep.
The lucky ones free of disease.
I'm sure we come into the world with some pain and exit with some pain.

Why would you think that, Ramaraksha? I believe love never dies - we will always be connected with our loved ones, no matter whether we are in a physical or spiritual state. @@ramaraksha01 are you asking how, if there is a God, and if there is a heaven, there continues to be so much suffering on earth? You're right - it's a very important question, and not one we shy away from here.
