Looking to get one of these machines for our company. Have only one local company who does carpet cleaning and they keep quoting $500+ to clean a 6x8 rug. We run a vacation rental/property management company (over 50 homes we could do the rugs/carpets ourselves, possibly adding 100+ more soon), seems it would be more economical for us to just get the certs/equipment ourselves. From what I have gathered, seems like you only need this machine, a wand/hose, and the chems to get a decent start on carpet cleaning? I will be signing up for an IICRC cert/class myself to go ahead and get the education needed.
You ll need a sprayer to pretreat the carpet and thats pretty much it. You can use a pump up until you want to upgrade to something faster. All of the other knick knacks like corner guards, floor protectors, and other tools can be accumilated over time as you see you need them.
@@Metalhead0426 Than you for the reply! About to pull the trigger on this machine. I see you use a 50' 1.5" hose for the machine. Is there any reason you would not suggest upgrading to a 50' 2" hose?
LOVE ur videos...I went back 2 the very beginning which prompted this question 4 me 2 ask u regarding "stripping & waxing." How wood u no 2 add a 2nd coating of stripper 2 the floor? Is it based off of the shine ur looking 4 after using the squeegee? Thanks
An easy way to tell is that the floor will still be slippery. If you catch it in the light just right and you know what you are looking you can actually see it.
I havent. On this job it wouldn't be worth the trouble as you would have to run 2-150ft extension cords from the generator outside to the machine. Its whole lot easier to just use their power.
I always scared white colors couch how do you clean this kind of couch even it’s not about the couch it’s more about the costumer they want their couch 100% white color, thank you boss
First identify type of fiber. On synthetic (poly) just clean as normal. Pretreat, agitate, extract. Inspect the condition beforehand and set expectations with customer. Some times you can put a little O2 in there to brighten it up.
People use Facebook ads, Google ads, nextdoor, ads in local newspaper, yard signs. I barely do any advertising. Most of my business come from my Google page and repeats and referrals.
Can you do a video cleaning upholstery with this machine?
I actually have one.. th-cam.com/video/IvOKzCujI3E/w-d-xo.html

@@offlaketony3001 IMO the 2in hose to the wand is little more difficult to deal with and has very little benefit.
@@Metalhead0426 Thank you, went ahead and ordered the machine plus all the parts needed!
@@offlaketony3001Nice! Good luck! If you have any questions reach out
Does this machine have a separate circuit indicator?
No it doesnt. That would be handy if it did.
