A very expensive undertaking. 3) RAIs and Snorkels for 99% of people in 99% of use cases are a joke and a waste of time and money. They just create more drag and thus noise and fuel consumption without any meaningful advantage. And No, you don’t really get any better air quality intake at the high level. And in the few cases you might, slightly, the extra drag the air has as it travels through the intake pipes (look up fluid dynamics) isn’t worth it.

Not likely to see too many towing or travelling thru the outback. Hybrid petrols aren't exactly renowned for efficiency in heavy off road work or towing conditions. There are currently no certified aftermarket parts in the way of suspension, bull bars , snorkels etc , though that probably will eventually be catered for. I wouldn't be taking it thru any water that's no more than a few mm over a causeway crossing. Hybrid drive trains getting soaked sometimes don't seem to end well.
You certainly won't need a snorkel for a 600ml wading depth or beyond in this vehicle. The air intake on a snorkel would be at a height that no normal engine would operate without serious water incursion into the vehicles' electrical and mechanical components. Snorkels are an absolute gimmick unless installed on a totally modified fit for purpose vehicle.

"No hybrid off road" forgets about the HYBRID Mitsubishi Outlander and now Eclipse Cross...
They are dirt road at best off roaders.
Love this car
I may buy one if they release a diesel version 😶
It's like a jeep but Chinese level of quality. Oh wait that's just a Jeep.
Better quality than a Jeep.
Hope the chinese are serious about giving 7years guarantees all over the world. If they do put enough dealers in Brazil, i’d gladly pay less for it than a Toyota. Let’s see if they are serious…
Something between jeep wrangler and g class mercedes
Chinese delivering the goods 👍
This Is too luxury for off-road.....much Better UAZ!!!!
Hard pressed to buy - if it was all possible. Duty fees taxes and shipping charges, registration
Inspections and insurance . 50,000. Price tags
In Canada . Another 20,000 - before it lands
On your driveway . Still needs some aftermarket
Refinement. Cheap Tires , questionable brakes
Suspension rides like a marsh. And certainly
Has a higher chance of roll overs . Only time
Will tell . Stick with the Japanese brands - there
Superior on so many ways .
💯
anazing how a cheap 4x4 gets to over 60k AUS$.
Not a big fan of petrol hybrids from personal experience. Gasoline engines are not best suited to these types of vehicles
Just asking but why.
That’s ok get a slow diesel truck
Modern diesels are ticking time bombs.
Looks like a Jeep.
The GWM guys 😂😂😂… if you’re going to assess a car make it real not just an advertorial
Its smaller than a prado..
Looks like a jeep.
Thirster than my PX on All Terrains.
It more looks like modernized Russian military car UAZ hunter
The reliability of Toyota is legendary and the only 4WD that i will consider.
I'm very happy that this GWM/Lada look-a-like, will increase competition so that Toyota can be pushed to do even better. (Toyota still have a lot of room for improvement on many levels)
The true test of success of ANY car is always in the resale.
Conclusion: talk to me in 10 years about this model Lada...oops... GWM
Exactly
Toyota's suck, they are over rated and need to get eith the times.
They don't even make good 4wds just suv's that can go offroad but not offroad worthy
Toyotas look pretty dated in comparison and more than double the price.
How much do you reckon a Toyota worth when supplies meet demand? The reason people consider Toyota reliable because they still using old tech. You might still have to pay top dollars on a old and filthy 79 but you actually expecting any improvement? Give up…
Nothing like a Jeep Wrangler, it's more in the Jeep Compass category.
When you order a G-Wagon from Wish😂😂
