YES!!!! FINALLY!!
It took 21 dream portals to down ress priest....my brain is screaming: OMFG!
It took more than that. It also took an embiggen, emeris battlecry AND dragonqueen alextraza. All of that combined allowed for high enough stats to have lethal at any time after all the removals were gone.
I hate priest so much I often concede early, especially if I don't get good cards after the mulligan. I made a shaman deck specifically to counter rez priest, but then of course blizzard's rng screws me over and I barely see any priests until I switch back to other decks. It's infuriating.

It's actually an important part of many infinite combos in wild.
Isn’t that because the last thing he played before playing Elise and duplicating his hand was the crowd roaster? And then because of the interaction mechanics it wouldn’t become Elise since that’s how it was added to the hand
The fact the priest could survive as long as it did is really saying a lot about the power level of the current cards.
That priest deck is infuriating to play against as someone who hasn't played standard in a long long time and don't have a lot of the newer cards
It's infuriating to play against even if you had the new cards. If kibler didn't high roll so many dragons the priest would have won.
Man the Priest was so helpless and hardly played anything at all!! It was no fun
If you've been playing wild instead of standard, big priest is even grosser there. Though I guess at least in wild every class has disgustingly overpowered decks. The only thing I'll give big priest is that it's semi-interactive rather than "Oh, my opponent managed to draw these cards so now I lose and there's literally nothing I can do about it".

I think the Dream Emeris actually helped quite a bit at the end. It forced out one final AOE before he ran out of cards. I thought it was just for memes but it ended up being useful

Dang, I had no idea Breath of Dreams actually worked like that. I always keep holding it until I get a dragon or I just throw it for the draw and don't get one.

I actually run Ysera unleashed with 2 augmented eleks just for the lols. Had a match where both emerald explorers gave me another ysera unleashed too and played it 3 turns in a row with eleks for a total of 63 dream portals (without factoring in the deck size limit). My opponent friended me and said "All I can say is...I hope you get cancer like your deck" before immediately removing me - in my experience, that's how you know you've successfully memed in hearthstone.

Yeah I wouldn't have used swipe there and just face tanked the 6 from the Catrina after the crowd roaster.

I think he was avoiding damaging the face to prevent priest from getting additional quest progress

at 2:09, that was an absolute waste of a swipe. You should have attacked both minions into the infiltrator and then crowd roaster and hero power or wrath to take out Catrina Muerte. Then you also would have had the swipe to answer the cloning gallery

11:10 - I'm curious if people would agree with me, but this seemed like a mistake to me.
mean, we know the priest has some remaining clears, so I would think the goal would be to commit just enough to bait out the clear, while keeping as many resources as possible to follow up. Maybe playing the whelp was necessary to threaten lethal, but I think playing the howl was a waste. If he'd burned through the rest of his portals and then gotten cleared, it seems like there was a real possibility that alexstrasza wouldn't give him enough juice to finish the job. He was in a hurry to activate the alextrasza, but it seems to me that her battlecry is not really that much stronger than 2 dream portals, so what's the rush? If his opponent doesn't have a clear, he's almost certainly going to win. If they do, he needs to conserve his ammo.

Just kibler doing the thing he like most. Not a safe careful dragon win but a BIG DRAMATIC DRAGON WIN. He often went for the sweet plays.
@@andrea0258hu I don't buy it. If he's making an intentional misplay for fun, he'll usually say he's doing the sweet thing. In this case he justified it by saying he was trying to activate alex. I think he thought it was the right play at the time.
Anyway he already had like 4-5 dragons in play, how dramatic do you need to get exactly?
